I remember the first time I had ever heard of WoT or DM etc.

Its when i voluntarily moved in with jenn (Kathana) We were friends (I didnt know her very well yet so didnt know exactly how crazy she was) and she needed a new roomie before the college placed yet another freak in her room. well, since I wasnt really happy where I was. I agreed to move in.

And she began to try to take over my puter =)
I actually had to start locking it to torment her cause if i even left to use the restroom, Id come back and she would have ICQ and everything switched over LOL

One day I went to the message boards (Bravenet was used at the time i believe) I posted, asking what on earth was all this that made my rooies such a nutcase =p

I believe it was ben_T who replied LOL

After that Jenn was constantly trying to get me to join. I repeatedly refrained for I had not read any of the books or anything. And apparently I was steadily becoming famous as her roommate LOL

One day out of the blue...Sathy messaged me and we started talking a bit. One night he pulled me into an ICQ mass chat...There, everyone proceeded to con me into argreeing to join, knowing that I hadnt read a word of the WoT yet. It's also in that chat that we came up w/ my handle LOL

As the days went, I posted more and more and became friends with so many ppl. DM was truly a community. Pretty much the only RPing was completely silly stuff like my character teaching the mhael to beg and be her puppy LOL

I joined for the community. Im still her for the community. The RP, for me, is just there, something to kill some time occasionally.

There have been so many wonderful ppl here that I have met, and it is because of them I remain. Most of the ppl here have good hearts and lives and I love hearing about them, knowing them, seeing how diverse DM is.

DM has become more than a site to me, it transcends being a RP Site, a Community Site. It's a family.

Jason's my Daddy, Jenn my mom, and Rob? You're one of the best friends I could ever have. I thank you all for everything. I love you all with all my heart
