Descriptions provided by Kaylie Sedai of the Brown Ajah

The Amyrlin Seat

Currently:  Kathana

This is the leader of the White Tower.  She is responsible for overseeing the Org and such ooc, and also giving the ok on raising a person from Accepted to Aes Sedai.  She also announces all raisings, any special org activities, and things like this.  She also has a paticular fondness for Pudding.

Keeper of the Chronicles

Current Keeper:  Muirenn Sedai

In the books this is the woman right under the Amyrlin Seat, she is usually elected from the same Ajah as the Amyrlin. 

The same is sometimes true here at Dragonmount, although we don’t have any elections, Kathana chooses her Keeper and the Mistress of Novices. *smiles*  Though from time to time a person may step down generally this position is fairly steady and held as long as the occupant wants it.

Welcoming Committee

Currently:  Almindhra Sedai (Gray Ajah)

The Head of the Welcoming Committee is in charge of giving everyone a rousing hello and helping them get started on their grand career here at the White Tower.  This may include giving them the web page address of the Novice and Accepted Page or just telling them a few ins and outs.

Mistress of Novices

Currently:  Sabine Sedai (Brown Ajah)

The Mistress of Novices is in charge of putting people’s names in for raising from Novice to Accepted, and from Accepted to Aes Sedai.  As such, she keeps up with all the classes and chores taken/done for raising requirements.  However do not expect her to magically know when you’ve done such a thing.  Instead e-mail her with how far along you are towards raising.  Once all raising requirements have been met she’ll give your name to the Amyrlin, who will in turn raise you at her own discretion.

Mistress of the Infirmary

Mistress of the Library

Currently:  Raeyn Sedai (Brown Ajah)

This lovely woman is in charge of maintaining the Tower Library.  She collects all articles, essays, and such submitted to the Library and puts them up at her discretion.  So if you have an essay or article or anything of the like-send it to the MoL!  The library needs more articles. : )

Ajah Heads

This is a position filled by a member of each ajah, there is only one at a time and this person’s responsibility is to give the Amyrlin a report on what her ajah is up to and such things as this.  The Current Ajah heads are:

Blue:  Julannah Sedai

Brown:  Karana Sedai

Gray:  Marce Sedai

Green:  Lanfir Sedai

Red:  Kathrina Sedai

Yellow:  Soraya Sedai

White:  Lylana Sedai

Black: Julannah Sedai

Sitters of the Hall

In the WOT each Ajah has 3 sitters or representatives within the Hall of the Tower.  These Ladies help to make laws and decisions affecting Tower Policy.  At Dragonmount these persons are constantly rotating on a three month basis.

Org RP Leader

In charge of overseeing the organization’s roleplay, Muirenn Sedai coordinates rps involving the org.  She is also involved in inter-org roleplays. 

Mentors

These are persons who donate their time, in order to show a “newbie” or a new Novice or Accepted the ropes of the White Tower and Dragonmount.  Mentors are avaliable upon request, and a person can mentor several people at one time, though most choose only to mentor one “mintie” at a time.  It’s a fairly large task, and involves answering any questions the minty may have or just generally getting together and having good ole fashioned fun.

Minties (mentees)

These are newbies, or maybe just newbies to the WT that have requested to have a mentor.  Their job is to ask questions and find out the ins and outs of the White Tower, including all about Mint Tea and Pudding.  Anyone who wants to be a minty may request a mentor from the Mistress of Novices.  Please do NOT post on the boards asking for a mentor, rather send your request to Quatilina, she’ll take care of you.  : )

Bio Reviewer

The Bio Reviewer is in charge of reading all the biographies written by the novices, and as such Taeadra Sedai has a big task cut out for herself.  She must go through all the bios written by each player and eithier give them the OK or send them back asking for revisions, if she does send yours back don’t worry however, generally there’s a reason.  (Maybe it’s highly unrealistic and you need to tweak it a bit).  Whatever the case don’t feel bad, just change a few things and talk to her about any questions you may have.  Don’t worry she doesn’t bite.

Teachers

At Dragonmount, every Accepted is required to teach one class.  Usually these classes are electives (classes that no one is required to specifically take-however everyone must take an elective of some type before being raised.)  Also several Aes Sedai repeatedly teach classes, these are the teachers of DM.  There are a mydriad of them, including the Amyrlin Seat and the Mistress of Novices.
