Classes, chores, pranks and more,
Thus consists my day,
I strive to look ahead in wonder,
But it's all work, no play.
I'm lower than the sisters,
To whom I show respect,
A step out of line merits the MON,
What else can I expect!

I've tried and tested my resolve,
In the mysterious arch of three,
I'm firmly set within my path,
Sister soon I'll be.
My classes are much harder,
And Novices are the chore,
But when I see an Aes Sedai,
I'm desperate for more!

The ring was on my finger,
But the shawl I have now too,
I'm getting on in years a bit,
But I'm a part of the motley crew.
Age will never touch my face,
Though grey may reach my hair,
And when the dark one rears his head,
No fear 'cause I'll be there!
