THE DEAD MILKMEN
I Walk The Thinnest Line

from Beelzebubba

Tabbed by: Ben Gladdle (moose9377@hotmail.com)

One of the best songs from an album full of great songs. I've
been sitting on this one for a while, trying to make sure it's
100% correct. I may not have got there, but I'm fairly happy
with it now that it's got the solo!

In the chorus, the high Em (x79987) has a cool bass riff going
on in the background, which is my next priority with this song.

Chorus:
------
highEm
I walk the thinnest line
I walk the thinnest line
G C
I walk the thinnest line
            highEm
Between the light and dark sides of my mind
I walk the thinnest line
I walk the thinnest line
G C
I walk the thinnest line
            highEm
Between the good and bad sides of my mind

Verse:
-----
Am C G
And when I'm bad I sit in a tree
            F Am
And spit on people who walk under me
         C G
When I'm good I stay at home
         F Em C
I've got 29 kids all named Jerome

chorus:
I walk the thinnest line
I walk the thinnest line
I walk the thinnest line
Between the light and dark sides of my mind
I walk the thinnest line
I walk the thinnest line
I walk the thinnest line
Between the good and bad sides of my mind

verse:
And when I'm sad I go to a club
Drink enough beer to fill a bathtub
When I'm glad I make a wish
Find a wife who has read "My Little Fish"

Solo:
----

The solo is pretty simple and not fast, and shouldn't pose many
problems. Timing is approximate (my standard disclaimer) as usual.
It helps if you bend some of these notes slightly. eg. some of
the 10s on the B-string. They're only _very_ slight bends so I
haven't tabbed them out. Just listen and go with it... it should
sound pretty decent anyway.

The bass after 1:12 pretty much just follows the guitar, though
the guitar throws in the occasional strum where indicated above
the tab.

not sure about the chords with this one, the bass
is kind of confusing. will fix soon.

That's it! Enjoy!
