Tugena (missing) 1 - Tiny Town ------------- Tabbed by: Guitarsurf@aol.com Touched up by: Ben Gladdle (moose9377@hotmail.com) I added a few tiny bits to this song, one which is the instrumental bit just after the second chorus. I will add that you have to play open chords for the intro and verses, or it's just too damn fast! (For me, anyway.) Switch to bar chords again for the chorus. You're going to have to listen to work out timing as well, because it's too fast to pick where the chords come in on the words. And also the verse riff is slightly different on the lead in to the chorus... it has a D instead of an A. The latest change (another one!) is the first line of the chorus starts C-G instead of E-D as previously. Don't know how I missed that one. Intro: (x2) ----- Verse: ----- Hello, my name is Billy Bob and I don't give a damn I got myself some white sheets from the Klu Klux Klan I got myself a daughter and she's a mongoloid Because I married my sister and our gene pool's been destroyed Let's do it! Chorus: ------ C G A B This is a tiny town E D A B And we don't want you comin' round E D C This is a tiny town G A B And we don't want you comin' round verse: We got ourself a sheriff and his name's Bobby Joe One day he said to me "Them punk rockers gotta go" So we hopped into his pickup truck with a gun rack on the back And we beat up on some punks and we beat up on some blacks because chorus: This is a tiny town And we don't want you comin' round This is a tiny town And we don't want you comin' round Instrumental: ------------ C#m A C#m E D C#m A verse: So if you should happen to come to our little town It might be wise if you didn't hang around 'Cause we hate blacks and we hate Jews And we hate punks but we love the F.U.'s Let's do it! chorus: This is a tiny town And we don't want you comin' round This is a tiny town And we don't want you comin' round Ending: ------ E A E A E A G End on G. 2 - "Beach Song" ---------------- Tabbed by: Bucky Lewis Solo by: Mike Brennan (djpolokus@hotmail.com) Bass Throughout G----------------------------------- D-----------2-1-2----5-4-5-----2-1-2 A---3-2-3--------------------------- E----------------------------------- C C G Sand is hurting my tender feet C D The air smells like rotting fish and solarcaine C C G I hate the people on the beach C With their towels and umbrellas D They're so insane D C C G C I don't wanna be on the beach! During the verse "This is no way to spend the summer..." there is a solo kind of thing, and it is played once before with no words. I tabbed it, and it took a bit too, so here goes: (1:07) E---------------------------------------------------------------- B---------------------------------------------------------------- G--------------------------0---2-0------------------------------- D--------------------0-2-3---------3--2-3-3-3--2-2-1-1----------- A-3--3--3-2-3--0-2-3-----------------------------------3--3-2-3-- E---------------------------------------------------------------- (1:14) E------------------------------------- B------------------------------------- G---------------------------------0--- D-0--2--0-------------------0-2-3----- A----------3----------0-2-3----------- E-------------3-3-3-3----------------- This comes at the time with no words, the times with words are played at 1:28 and 1:35. 3 - Plum Dumb ------------- Transcribed by: Guitarsurf@aol.com, edited by dhicks@erie.net She stands there on the corner decked out in raspberry jeans waiting and watching and oh here he comes he pulls up beside here in a sporty machine rolls down his window and hands her a bag of plums Plums? End on F. 7 - Serrated Edge ----------------- Missing 8 - Lucky --------- As before, this is from the Chaos Rules - Live at the Trocadero version. It's fairly rudimentary, as it only uses power chords, but I've tried it all sorts of ways, and this still sounded the best. Verse: ----- C B A Ab E----------------------------------------------- B----------------------------------------------- G---17-------16-16-16------14-------13-13-13---- D---17-------16-16-16------14-------13-13-13---- A---15-------14-14-14------12-------11-11-11---- E----------------------------------------------- Chorus: ------ G G------------------------------- D------------------------------- A-----------------3--4--5------- E---3----3--4--5---------------- Simple! I messed around with the formatting a little as well so I didn't get confused, but again all credit goes to the creators of the original tab. Well, and to the Dead Milkmen of course... Intro: ----- 2 progressions of G F E F C Big Lizard in my backyard G G F# F I can't afford to feed it anymore C Big Lizard in my backyard E Bustin' down my neigbor's door F Well, I bought a big lizard C Only a dollar fifty G Well, that's pretty neat G F# F Yeah it's fucking nifty, but F C I just can't afford to feed it E And you should see the way it shits G F I've got a Big Lizard in my backyard E I can't afford to feed it anymore G F Big Lizard in my backyard E Bustin' down my neigbor's door F C I was knocked outta bed late last night G G F# F I was woken up by the sound of dynamite C I... Solo: ---- The solo goes over 2 progressions of G, F and E, followed by the "I was knocked out of bed..." bit, then 2 more progressions of G, F and E. I've tried to tab it out with the chords shown above. The lyrics are shown after the solo itself. It's not perfect note for note, but it's pretty good, and will certainly suffice. I think what confuses me is there seems to be an extra guitar playing a few notes here and there. Standard disclaimer: timing is approximate, it's just too hard to get perfectly accurate in tab form. Listen along, you'll do fine. However, the rhythm is kinda tricky to figure out. Best bet is just to listen and play along with the record. I fixed this up recently... I don't know what the hell I was thinking before. It was all wrong and all over the place! BTW, if someone notices something like that (and you must have!), please tell me... It's been ages since I've played some of these tabs, and god knows I've probably put a lot of mistakes in them! :) Yet another note: This file seems to do strange things when I upload it geocities. Much like Beach Party Vietnam, it puts in double letters and other weird effects, no matter what I do to it! So, please try and ignore these weird little occurrences until I find out how to fix it. It's a start anyway, so let me know what needs fixing. Verse: ----- G#m E---4------------------------ B---4-----------7--6--------- G---4------------------------ D---6---...------------------ A---6------------------------ E---4------------------------ That's pretty much it for the verse. Just apply your own funky strumming pattern, and add the high notes where necessary. It's different in some of the latter verses, but I haven't tabbed that yet. The chorus is much the same. If you think it sounds good, try the occasional quick slide up from a G to the G#m. End of chorus: ------------- C# E E---4------------------7----- B---6------------------9----- G---6------------------9----- D---6---..........-----9----- A---4------------------7----- E---------------------------- The only bit that isn't entirely G#m! This bit is also pretty easy to figure out the strumming pattern... 18 - Dean's Dream ----------------- Tabbed by: R.E. Tupmoca & B. Breslin and redone by: Ben Gladdle (moose9377@hotmail.com) Thanks a lot to those guys for their previous tab. The main difference is that in their tab everything is just one step higher. This could be because they had their guitar tuned down or that they tabbed it off the vinyl rather than CD which, as I've noticed on some other songs, can often have strange effects. This, as with 99% of my tabs, is in normal EADGBE tuning. At any rate, they did most of the work, but I've changed the key, put the minor F# chord in and put in some idea of the riff on F#m. I think bar or open chords are OK for this song. I find the open chords easier when singing along. The bass is also pretty cool in this song, and I hope to do that some time. F#m Riff: -------- F#m Fm E--2--2--1/2-2-2-- B--2--2--1/2-2-2-- G--2--2--1/2-2-2-- D--4--4--3/4-4-4-- A--4--4--3/4-4-4-- E--2--2--1/2-2-2-- Verse: (using the F#m riff for the most part) ----- F#m riff D It's a Friday night cookin' show with a horsemeat F#m riff D A E dish, I had to stay in the freezer all Thursday eve, talkin' to that F#m riff D horse, I really had to go down to the F#m riff D A E sidewalk, the sky's all red, the street's filled with people from a F#m riff High School band Chorus: ------ D A I escaped to a theater E F#m To see a girl D A With long blonde hair E F#m Right down to there D A I escaped from a theater E F#m To see a girl D A E With long blonde hair verse: We had to leave We got in a tan van Us two in the back With Steve McGarrett From Hawaii-Five-O At the steering wheel Speeding away we slide into a Parking lot And all in slow motion These tough guys appear chorus: We argue and fight And one pulls a knife He hits me in the back But I'm all right I'm all right I'm all right I'm all right He's all right F#m riff: x4 Last Chorus: ----------- This chorus has the same words as the first, but the timing is slightly different, so I've put the chords above this one, too. This is the easiest way to play the main (verse) riff. The last 3 chords are pretty quick changes so that'll help you practice your bar chords anyway. Of course, this song also features great use of swearing... not just the magical f-word, but also "At least I give a shit, about the stuff I eat..." Perfectly gratuitous, but fun nonetheless.
