As Dragon Maw members advance in experience level, they may also earn Guild Titles or Ranks. These are earned through the accomplishment of three tasks :
1. Achieving the minimum level required for the title,
2. Completing the assigned game quests for the title and
3. Completing the guild quest for the title.
A member may not advance in rank until all requirements have been met. See the "Quests" page for the quests for each rank.

All new members (regardless of level) begin as Dragon Maw University members with the rank of Neophyte. Upon achieving the rank of Centurion (Warriors, Paladins, Archers and Rangers), Enchanter (Mages and Battlemages) or Exorcist (Clerics), members graduate from Dragon Maw University to become full Dragon Maw members and lose the "U" from their guild tags (i.e., DMU to DM). The guild will pay for name changes to add the DMU to a new member's tag, but the member is responsible for paying for the change from DMU to DM.
Note : Founding members of DM in T4C retain their DM tags regardless of rank, as they have already earned them elsewhere.

Let it also be made clear that ranks constitute no authority over members of lower rank, they are only intended as badges of personal achievement as it were, and will not be noted in a player's game tags, only posted on the guild website. Sole authority within the guild lies with the High Council and High Overlord.
