TRIBUTE TO
DAVE MATTHEWS AND TIM REYNOLDS
Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds tour together performing Dave Matthews Band songs and a few of their own. They play in venues with intimite settings with seating often less than 2000 people. This creates a very personal feeling with the audience.
Dave Matthews has an amazing talent for guitar, songwriting, and singing his melodious tunes. While Tim Reynolds offers his amazing playing abilities, which blend poetically with the efforts of Dave.
I was never a Dave Matthews Band fan until recently, in fact, I hated Dave Matthews. My sister had a CD and I tried listening to it, but I hated all the songs. I was always a "hard rock" fan. I didn't like the different sound of Dave.
One day my friend offered me the Dave and Tim Cd, Live at Luther College, and I reluctantly took it. I listened to it a little at first, but I was not overly enthusiastic. I suddenly realized that I was listening to it all the time and liking it. I fell in love with all the songs on that CD.
Pretty soon I started to listen to Dave Matthews Band CD's and I liked them. It was wierd to suddenly like all those songs I hated and made fun of before.
The point of the story is to say that I think that everyone should listen to Dave and Tim just once. Even all the hard-core fans out there cause I was one too, and I love Dave and Time now. I think that their music is some of the best that has ever been made. Plus all the girls like it!!!!!!!!!!!
