Poetry Page

I am a fan of poetry and song lyrics.  That is one of the reasons why I like Dave Matthews so much.  I enjoy reading and writing my own poetry. 
The site  www.poetry.com is a site that has many poems from people all over the world.  Anyone can post a poem on there and enter into a contest to win money.  You also have the opportunity to be selected to be published in a book which I was last month.  Although I am not that flattered because I think that they are only after your money.  Despite that, I do think that it is a good site with many different styles of poetry.  It is also a good way to let other people read your poetry.
I am going to start posting some of my poetry and stories on this site.  At first I was a little timid about doing it, but along with my attitude for my senior year..."I don't give a shit!"

Ok, I like wrting poetry.  I think that it is cool, and that is one of the main reasons that I like Dave Matthews.  All of his songs are very poetic.  But anyways, I also write a little poetry in my spare time cause I one day hope to put them into songs.  I am gonna start posting some of my stuff up here and then I will also put my email address out here so everyone can give their honest opinion of my stuff.  But now that I have said all that, its gonna take me awhile to finish the rest of this page, cause I haven't even finished the rest of my site.
