What IS DMR?
Although a national movement, Young Judaea is split up into many different regions across the United States. One of these is DMR. DMR stands for Desert Mountain Region. It is composed of Montana, Wyoming, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, and El Paso, TX. We are by far the largest geographical region. Twice a year, the Bogrim (8-12 graders) meet at a convention somewhere around the region. There is also a seperate convention with our Merchav. Our Merchav is composed of the DMR, CNH (California, Nevada, Hawaii) and PNW (Pacific Northwest) regions. The Ofie/Tsofie's (3-7th graders) meet once a year usually. Having lots of spirit, or RUACH is essential in Young Judaea. As DMRites, we are very proud to live where we do. |
