TRINITY -Father, Son, and Holy Ghost
The doctrine of the Trinity states that God is one being who exists, simultaneously and eternally, as a mutual indwelling of three persons; The Father, The Son, (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit.
Since about the 4th century this doctrine has supported "one God in three persons" all three distinct and co-eternal persons are ONE indivisible Divine essence.
This doctrine is known as "Trinitarianism".
The most recognized Biblical foundation of this doctrine is the Gospel of John
The word Trinity comes from "Trinitas" a Latin abstract nown the mean "three-ness" or "three at once"
St Theophilus of Antioch about 180AD was the person who first recorded this.
