For 2 years his sister would bring him books on religion so that he would continue to learn. His mother finally let him go. He took his vows and was sent to Cologne. After receiving his Bachelor of Theology in Paris he gained the respect of being a great speaker. Through his preachings and writings Thomas faith and reason came through.
