BACK TO JESUS
Throughout the course of the day we should strive to spend time with Jesus in the present of Blessed Sacrament. The tabernacle is the Font of grance and mercy from which Jesus dispenses the benefit of His superabundant life and continually repeats to all "Come to me, all you who are weary and overburdened. and I will give you rest"
ACT OF ADORATION We adore You, Most Holy Lord, Jesus Christ, here and in all the churches of the whole world, and we bless You because by Your holy Cross You have redeemed the world. Have mercy on us.
PRAYER OF ADORATION AND PETITION I adore You, O Jesus, true God and true Man, here present in the Holy Eucharist, as I humbly kneel before You and unite myself in spirit with all the faithful on earth and all the Saints in heaven. In heartfelt gratitude for so great a blessing, I love You,my Jesus, with my whole soul, for You are infinitely perfect and all worthy of my love. Give me the grace never more in any way to offend You. Grant that I may be renewed by Your Eucharistic presence here on earth and be found worthy to arrive with Mary at the enjoyment of Your eternal and blessed presence in heaven.
PRAYER OF REPARATION With that deep and humble feeling which the Faith inspires in me, O my God and Savior, Jesus Christ, true God and true Man, I love You with all my heart, and I adore You Who are hidden here. I do so in reparation for all the irreverences, profanations, and sacrileges which You receive in the most august Sacrament of the Altar. I adore You, O my God, but not so much as You are worthy to be adored. Please accept my good willl and help me in my weakness. Would that I could adore You with that perfect worship which the angels in heaven are able to offer You. O Jesus, may You be adored, loved, and thanked by all people at every moment in this most holy Sacrament.
PRAYER FOR TODAY'S NEEDS Lord, for tomorrow and its needs I do not pray; keep me, my God, from stain of sin, just for today. Let me both diligently work and duly pray; let me be kind in word and deed, just for today. Let me be slow to do my will, prompt to obey; help me to mortify my flesh, just for today. Let me no wrong or idle word unthinking say; set a seal upon my lips, just for today. Let me in season , Lord, be grave, in season gay; let me be faithful to Your grace just for today. And if today my tide of life should ebb away, give me your Sacraments divine, sweet Lord, today. So for tomorrow and its needs, I do not pray; but keep me, guide me, love me, Lord, just for today.
PRAYER TO BRING CHRIST INTO OUR DAY Lord Jesus, present before me in the Sacraments of the Altar, help me to cast our from my mind all thoughts of which You do not approve and from my heart all emotions which You do not encourage. Enable me to spend my entire day as a co-worker with You, carrying out the tasks that You have entrusted to me. Be with me at every moment of this day; during the long hours of work, that I may never tire or slacken from Your service; during my conversations, that they may not become for me occasions for meanness towards others; during the moments of worry and stress, that I may remain patient and spiritually calm; during periods of fatigue and illness, that I may avoid self-pity and think of others; during times of temptation, that I may take refuge in Your grace. Help me to remain generous and loyal to You this day and so be able to offer it all up to You with its successes which I have achieved by Your help and its failures which have occurred through my own fault. Let me come to the wonderful realization that life is most real when it is lived with You as the Guest of my soul.
