USAGE:

This archive contains two Codabar fonts, Medium and Large. The barcodes for each allowable Codabar character correspond to that character on a standard keyboard. Codabar allows the following characters:

1-9, $, -, +, :, /, .

The structure of a codabar barcode is:

[start character][data][stop character]

start and stop characters may be any of:

a, b, c, d

The start and stop character is decoded by the scanner and sent in the scan line, so you WILL see them in the decoded data. For instance, the data 12345 may be encoded as:

a12345a

and the scanner will return:

a12345a

The same data could be encoded as:

a12345b
c12345a
b12345d

or any combination of a, b, c, or d as a start and stop character. Always remember that the start and stop characters will be returned by the scanner.
