Looming in shadows
The suffocation of ages
The abyss, it calls
With each turning of pages
The call, it wanes
As daylight nears
But as nightfall comes
So grow the fears
From the abyss...
'Tis not an illusion...
It's shadows spew forth
Torment and confusion
Tendrils of ice
Wrap the mind in grief
Taking its will
Then off like a thief
Yes, daylight is come
The mind is released
But as day becomes night
So goes the reprieve
Warning: This is very dark and some will find this extrememly disturbing.
