It's happened, and
I know I'm dying
But there is no end
So why am I crying
I'm but leaving this life
to enter another
And yet, the tears keep falling
Why do I bother
I wish I could find
The words to say
But it's hard when
There's only today
Yesterday is gone
And there is no tomorrow
So, I guess you could call this
A meaningful sorrow
Warning: This poem deals with death and the views of the person dying. If this sort of thing bothers you leave now.
