I just love the Breyer new Appaloosa Stablemate Gelding - he runs a close second to the Stablemate Andalusian as a choice model for customizing. I just knew this guy would make a gorgeous unicorn stallion - and that he did. An unusual blue albino unicorn stallion was born in 2001. He sports a midnight blue horn accented with bronze highlights, albino blue eyes, pink skin, cobalt leg bars on the backs of his legs, and a multi-shaded blue mane, tail, leg feathering, some tiny pinkish appy spots on his neck and rump, chestnuts, shaded cobalt blue hooves, pearlized albino white coat, bronze coronet bands, and hair patch on his back. Many paint layers were put on this guy to achieve the coloration he has. To the Left: here is Arcadian Azul prior to completion. I left the horn color up to the buyer to chose. Brad Benton was tickled pink, or blue, in this case, when he received this model. He quickly went to work on creating a fantasy costume for him, as seen above.
