Captain's Log: Move to Giga City Sat May 06 Storm Owl

"Captain's log, May 6th, 2219. Repairs to the Fortress V after our
siege of the Coalition's Aleutian Base has been completed. Along with the
upgrades to the Fortress V under Commander Prismatic Spider's direction, the
ship is once again ready for action. As per earlier orders, we have departed
for Giga City. Given The Destroyer - Ra Moon's - apparent connection with Force
Metal, we have taken up a position over the city. It is highly possible that he
will return here. I am reminded of the last time the Fortress V was here,
defending against sieges from the Mavericks, Neo Arcadians, Irregulars, and
Robot Masters. We triumphed then and we shall triumph now. If Ra Moon wishes to
raid Giga City again, he will have to go through the most powerful battle
station on the planet."

Giga City - Main Concourse
Built on a
series of floating platforms suspended over the ground by antigrav generators,
this city is built over what was once Vancouver, a vast irradiated bay created
by the crash of Starhaven into Earth. Known formally as New Hope, it has been renamed
Giga City by its mostly-reploid inhabitants.
The main
concourse of the city is a series of small stores, factory shops for the
reploid miners that come here searching for Force Metal and other valuable
material, now that the place has cooled down enough to work at and mining has
become a valid options. Lurid signs and small stands provide goods at inflated
prices, and much can be found here, both legal and less than legal. Smaller
rooms lead to clubs, bars, an seedy theaters, and the place is usually abuzz
with activity. Transports can be easily found here that lead to the various
mining sites that surround the city, and elevators lead up into the central hub
of the city, known as the Central Tower.

Giga City. Last December the most powerful army in history,
with a massive assist from the Maverick Hunters and STARS, were able to defend
against a massive week-long siege against the forces of the Coalition, Neo
Arcadia, and finally the Robot Masters. Though ground was given and many lives
lost, in the end the army was able to hold onto the city by the circuitry of
their teeth, keeping Giga City and its prize from the forces of evil.
Now the army
that accomplished this is back in full force after the destruction of two of
its rivals' bases. Both Neo Arcadia and the Coalition have suffered setbacks,
and the morale of the troops are riding high. Perhaps with these victories they
can soon put an end to two major threats, leaving the Robot Masters alone to
face off against the alliance of good. Right now, however, Repliforce is on
defense.
Currently in
Giga City, it is evening, and the sun is beginning to set on the horizon of the
floating future city. Looming overhead is the mile-long oft undefeatable
Fortress V, casting a long shadow on the city. Red and green night-time hazard
lights flash silently in the growing darkness. Ra Moon's forces attacked here
once, and it's possible they may again. Most soldiers not on duty will be
relaxing, however, since the chances of a second attack any time soon appears
remote.

There is a simple benefit for Ballade to having the entirity
of the Repliforce stationed in a giant floating battleship -- you always know
where they are. They show their hand in the biggest, brightest, glowing letters
possible. To Ballade, the FV moving to Giga City means one simple thing: they
think it is an important location that will need defense in the immediate
future. Weighing that with the present geopolitical climate and that results in
one thing: Ra Moon will be coming back here.
He has been positioned in the heart of the city since news
of the Fortress V's transfer hit the airwaves. There is no deception to his
presence, nor any desire for it. Ballade has stood, still as a statue, in the
center -- the pulsing pounding heart -- of the city for close to 36 hours.
Nobody has dared to approach him or antagonize him, for fear of repraisal.
Instead, citizens hug the corners around him, murmuring and whispering with
morbid curiousity about what could draw an Elite Robot Master out.
The sky above Giga City had been cloudy for some time. It
had only gotten worse over the last hour, so it was no surprise when rain
started drizzling down from the gray sky. It was unpleasant, yes, but not
unexpected.
And then there was the lightning. That was unusual, but not
impossible. The storming had taken a turn for the ugly, becoming not something
to endure with mild annoyance but rather a thing that would affect daily
routines.
Just a few moments ago marked another turning point: where
previously the Fortress V's inbuilt weather defense systems had harmlessly
rerouted all incoming lightning, the bolts had gotten to the point that they
were becoming a serious threat to the ship. Heavy winds and scattered hail were
no worries for the heavy armor of most of the ship, but several sensors and
external structures might soon fall victim.
[Radio: (A) RF-Chat] Singularity Shrike transmits,
"...nasty weather."
[Radio: (A) RF-Chat] Storm Owl transmits, "Yes."
[Radio: (A) RF-Chat] Singularity Shrike transmits, "I
wouldn't want to be out in that..."
[Radio: (A) RF-Chat] Prismatic Spider transmits, "The
weathermen can never predict the weather right."
[Radio: (A) RF-Chat] Shining Firefly transmits, "Lightning.
We must be careful."
Singularity Shrike is situated at one of the rapid
deployment hatches. He's not on patrol, but he -is- one of the people who will
get called in if it hits the fan. He peers out at the weather with a bit of
aprehension; flying in that storm will -not- be fun.
He glances
around, and grips his spear a bit tighter...
RF Combat Squad <Suicide Stingrays> has arrived.
Hi-Max has arrived.
Assault Kangaroo had been sitting on his bed in his
quarters, enjoying a cup of root beer, when the thunderstorm struck. He's
finished the cup when he receives a warning about "nasty weather,"
wondering if it's an omen of what is to come. He knew that the Fortress V was
at Giga City, but not that there would be a storm coming. He puts his (now
empty) plastic cup down, stands up, and opens the door to his quarters,
shutting it after him, before heading toward the elevator. His destination? The
deployment area. He will have to be ready for anything. Including meeting some
old faces.
On the Fortress V, the Spider Scientist works in the
laboratories, continuing his own research into the nature of the Destroyer and
ways to counter it. The sound of the thunder and lightning filters faintly
through to him, and he frowns, saving his work. He thought the weather was
supposed to be milder than this, but hey, the weatherman is never right, it
seems.
[Radio: (A) RF-Chat] Infantry Corps Captain Assault Kangaroo
sighs.
Shining Firefly is just getting out of the MedBay when the
storm starts. It is a bit ominous for him, but that is for various reasons. He
just hopes he will not have to go outside today.
Max Armour is not here yet.
Hi-Max is in his quarters digitally removing Flame Hyenard
from all of the family pictures when the storm hits.
There's a jagged arc of lightning from the dark clouds. It
strikes the top deck of the Repliforce war ship, followed instantly by booming
thunder. On the bridge of the Fortress V, the trooper manning the operations
console mutters, "There's another one..." A group of Repliforce
officers are crowded around the tactical display table, making sure there's no
danger to the ship. Storm Owl is among them. There's a steady and growing chatter.
"I've never seen weather this bad. If it keeps up we may have no choice
but to move the ship." one of the officers comments.
The chatter
continues. "The pride of Repliforce running from rain? I think we can
guess how POX'll spin that..." "The shields protect us from the
electrical charges, but this can't be normal. There is a danger of one of the
blasts making it through." "Will it damage the hull?" "Is
it possible that Wire Sponge or Cloud Man is doing something?"
Storm Owl
finally speaks up, "Ladies and gentlemen, it is clear to me that this is
not a natural phenomenon. The chances of weather being this bad for this long,
contrary to the forcast, is under zero point zero zero one eight percent. I
want full sensor sweeps. If Cloud Man, Wire Sponge, or someone else /is/
controlling the weather, I want the origin traced. I want our picket scouts out
patrolling. I'd rather not have to move the ship unless we have to." Some
of the other officers smirk, pitying those forced to go out in this weather.
As the
Repliforcers scurry around the bridge, halls and outside the Fortress V.
Someone not from Repliforce, but not unwelcome walks the halls of the massive
ship. Captain riot of S.T.A.R.S. Moving tot he side of the hallway as a large hippopotamus
Reploid lumbers past. Riot sudddenly grabs the wall for support as the ship
shudder from the lightening bolt impact "Wonderful weather we're having...
I hate business trips." and makes his way to the elevator to a higher deck
of the ship. Where Repliforce officers lie in wait to pounce.
Jet is merely resting in his bed on the Fortress V. He isn't
ordered to go out there, though he can't seem to rest for some reason. A
nagging feeling in his gut, despite the fact that he feels like shouldn't have
a reason. It's just rain. Nothing more. Maybe Wire Sponage being a jerk like
Storm said. Hopefully, that will be it.
The storm only gets worse. The Fortress V finds itself
between and below several large clouds, bombarded on all sides by vicious bolts
of lightning and unending salvoes of hail. It's starting to look like if the
weather manages to break through, it won't just do superficial damage, but
might actually compromise the integrity of the ship.
Several booms of thunder shake the city. It happens very
quickly, sounding almost as if the storm itself was laughing. That's just more
evidence that something is very wrong here -- but it would soon be discarded in
the minds of many to make way for more dire happenings.
The clouds in front of the Fortress V swirl and dance,
writhing together and coming apart, until a giant face forms, two balls of
lightning marking its eyes. Two giant, insubstantial gray hands form from more
clouds, hovering over the Repliforce ship as if it were a toy to be played
with.
It is Ra Moon's face, and it seems to smile as a giant bolt
springs from its hand, striking a large sensor cluster.
Last time Hien hit the Fortress V, he hit the bridge. This
was his mistake - control was transferred to engineering. But without a
reactor, the ship cannot function. This time, he's going after the engineering
room. A black, swirling cloud suddenly appears in the engineering sector, and
Hien appears. He grins madly, as a sword blazes red in either hand. Shouts of
panic erupt, as he pounces open the bridge crew like a monster of lore,
slashing and hacking with his blades.
Something in the Bridge is wrong ... there is an evil
presence beginning to extract itself from the very air into something much more
unwholesome.
Slowly, and
building up speed, an iridescent, sparkling field of energy pops up on the
massive structure. A bright beam of light, white in color, suddenly lurches and
spears the rainbow circle ... it gains further radius and then recedes, its glowing
fingers withering away to reveal ...
The Blue
Mirage.
A group of
small fan-like Reavers and some Zakobuns move out from behind him as he takes
his first few steps -- the soldiers may notice that the citrus moves
frighteningly fast for such a rotund creature. "... Good evening."
Shield Shellfish has arrived.
Mega Water S appears in the barracks right in front of, in
fact, Jet Stingray's door.
He knocks
on it.
[Radio: (A) RF-Chat] Shield Shellfish grunt?!
[Radio: (A) RF-Chat] Storm Owl makes a mental note.
*SPROOOOING*
That's the
sound that something breaking the sound barrier and several laws of physics.
Using the new STARTS ultra high tech RA Slingshot, Max Armour is catapulted
across America in speed, comfort and OK maybe he had to be promised a raise
before he tried this death trap out. But now he is certainly getting over
there.
"I'M
RIDING SPINNAZ- ALSO JUSTIIIIIIICE!" is Max's battle cry du jour, as he
lands over here in Giga City with all the poise and finesse of a big, big metal
brick. The ground gets cratered. Again.
Max looks
around.
"Oh, so
it's not going on outside this tiOH SH"
ZIKOMO Ade
pegs it towards the Fortress V, waving its arms in the universal gesture of
'quick, open the freakin' door!'
[Radio: (A) RF-Chat] Storm Owl transmits, "Good, we
require your assistance immediately."
Sure enough, dark power worked wonders in the mystery of the
Robot Gentlemen being here. Not so much the Robot Gentlemen as Ra Moon's
followers. Still, in the Commissary, where the food is prepared, everything
seemed to be normal as one of the repliforcer gumbies gotten up, stretched, and
moved for some comfort food. The arm makes it to the refrigerator, opening up
the lower half. Light creaks out, the door opens.
Nothing
happens.
Then, he
scratches his head, closes it, and opens the top half. Stiff, nothing happens.
He could of sworn the bread was around there some where. It closes. Nothing
happens. He opens the lower again, a reaver beeping and handing the bread to
him. He nods, and walks away with the door open.
The gumby turns, and the area is swarmed with reavers in a
few seconds. Cryogenic Man rolls out of the refrigerator, getting up and
dusting himself off, removing the pickles on which slid themselves on his
armor. "Well that was a bit tight fit, wot?" He asks to the reavers.
The reavers continues knock over chairs and tables.
Darkness billows up from the floor in the middle of the
engine room and a petite human woman steps out of it casually. "Well hello,
ladies and gentlemen..." Kirin announces to the room at large as almost
all eyes stop to stare at her. "...since you've all been nice enough to
accomdate us..."
Smaller
patches of darkness poof around the room, disgorging reavers into the room.
"Then
allow me to enterTAIN YOU!"
You know, the universe must hate Bolero or something. It
must really, /REALLY/ frickin' hate Bolero. With that final blast of lightning,
the shadows in the Fortress V's brig suddenly start to run together like a
valley of black ink. The ominous shadow wells up all the way to the ceiling
before it fades away, revealing something that the brig crew is likely not
equipped to deal with.
To give you a
hint, it's not the small horde of zakobuns or the worm-looking Reavers on the
fringes of the horde. In fact, they may well be able to deal with the Horde
Master that stands amongst the Reavers. They might be familiar with him. After
all, the mid-sized Hispanic man in a long coat and bodysuit did start out in
Repliforce. Bolero smiles like the devil himself as he waves to the Brig
guards, "Hi. I'd like you to meet my new friends."
The Reavers
start to spread out along the brig halls, Bolero moving slowly amongst them.
It's the figure behind Bolero that they probably aren't fully equipped to
handle. The onyx-armored bull behind him takes a single step, neon tubes run
around the bull's body, highlighting imaginary muscle and bone lines as the
bull moves. Bull? Yes. That bull.
The ship shakes again. It's getting less soothing and more
worrying. One of the officers peers at the tactical display table and taps a
button, reporting, "Last lightning strike got through... ventral shields,
sector eighteen..." He sounds surprised. There are surprised looks
exchanged around those at the table. Even Storm Owl (yes Storm Eagle, I /get
it/. -Storm- Owl is getting worried over a -storm-. Damn you) appears slightly
fazed. It is decision time, and Storm has no choice but to play this safe.
The quiet
discussion now turns into a flurry of activity as Owl turns away from the
table, marching back to the main section of the command centre. "All hands
to action stations. Set condition red throughout the ship. Helm, take us away
from the storm, nice and slow. Keep us at 20 kilometres per hour and gradually
bring us up to half-cruising speed once we've cleared the threshold of the
storm."
Klaxons begin
to blare, and a soft feminine voice broadcasts the red-alert message to
everyone in the ship. Crews begin running to their stations. One of the
officers suddenly leans over their console, "Sir... I'm getting a report
from engi-" She's cut off as there's a rainbow light in the middle of the
command centre. "What the hell?!" Guns are pulled and Storm Owl
abruptly charges the Cyclone Cannon. Blue Mirage. The full weight of what's
going on dawns on everyone at once.
Singularity Shrike hears the alarm and immediately spins on
his heel and dashes at flight speed back in toward the ship. It goes to figure
that he'd be in the wrong place at the wrong time. He stows the spear to make
for easier manevering. He swears up a blue streak as makes his way for the
commisary, where he figures the forces would be lightest this time of day...
From within the Fortress V's medbay, there is a sudden and
abrupt series of crunches, clangs, and the sound of one or two tasers going
off. Followed by a series of heavy footsteps, one or two lockers thudding, and
the sound of something charging. More footsteps. And finally...
Shield
Shellfish steps out of the medbay, a laser rifle in one hand. The other is
attached to a mechfluid IV. She looks back down at it, tugs her wrist sharply,
and dislodges the connection. Then she returns to exiting the medbay, heading
towards the room that connects it to R&D, the skydeck, and the main
teleporters.
Someone's
interrupted her beauty sleep.
[Radio: (A) RF-Chat] Singularity Shrike transmits,
"Heading for the Commisary!"
[Radio: (A) RF-Chat] Infantry Corps Captain Assault Kangaroo
transmits, "Can anybody tell me what the hell's going on!?"
[Radio: (A) RF-Chat] Singularity Shrike transmits,
"Intruders, all over the ship."
[Radio: (A) RF-Chat] Infantry Corps Captain Assault
Kangaroo...
[Radio: (A) RF-Chat] Singularity Shrike transmits, "I
thought we had anti-blink fields exactly -for- this reason!"
Shining Firefly turns and says, "Hello Shellfish. It
appears we are needed in various places. I think the engineering room is a good
place to try to protect, how about you?" He chuckles and hobbles off. If
anything happens to the reactors, they will need repairs, and Shining can
handle such things. The fighting though might be over his head.
[Radio: (A) RF-Chat] Infantry Corps Captain Assault Kangaroo
transmits, "...How can that... but... how..."
[Radio: (A) RF-Chat] Shield Shellfish transmits, "Ra
Moon doesn't play by our rules."
[Radio: (A) RF-Chat] Prismatic Spider transmits,
"Intruder identification? What? Ra Moon is attacking?"
[Radio: (A) RF-Chat] Singularity Shrike growls, "I
guess not."
[Radio: (A) RF-Chat] Shield Shellfish transmits, "It
matches the attack pattern."
[Radio: (A) RF-Chat] Shining Firefly transmits, "I am
going to check out the Engineering room."
[Radio: (A) RF-Chat] Storm Owl transmits quickly over the
sound of shouts, "We have intruders being reported all over the ship. We
have Blue Mirage present on the bridge."
Shield Shellfish begins covering Shining Firefly.
[Radio: (A) RF-Chat] Shield Shellfish transmits, "Approaching
engineering sector."
Shield Shellfish begins covering Fortress V <F5>.
A beeping noise interrupts Prismatic's work, and he
acknowledges the alert. Well well, unusual weather conditions, gee. He closes
it, and it beeps again. Prismatic opens the notice. Sending out patrols. Yes,
lovely. He closes the alert, and then... The alarm klaxons begin. Prismatic
Spider blinks, and turns off his console, connecting his personal
communications to the network as he begins striding out of the labs. Alarms and
reports begin scrolling almost faster than he can read, sections of the F5
limned in red. "What the hell?"
And then the identity of the invaders becomes clear. Ra Moon
blithely bypassed the F5's defenses against precisely this kind of assault and
scattered forces all over the base. Prism alters his course, leaping not into
the turbolift, but into an emergency access tube, sliding down the stairwell so
he can reach the Docking Bay.
A situation like this calls for extreme measures, and like
hell is he going to do this without bringing everything he can bring.
[Radio: (B) RF-Secure] Shield Shellfish transmits,
"Have we alerted allies as to the state of this emergency?"
[Radio: (B) RF-Secure] Singularity Shrike transmits, "I
sure as heck haven't."
[Radio: (B) RF-Secure] Storm Owl transmits, again over
shouting, "Do so."
[Radio: (E) Joint-Secure] Shield Shellfish transmits,
"Attention Hunters and other allies. The Fortress V is currently under
attack from Ra Moon forces in Giga City."
[Radio: (E) Joint-Secure] Smart Man Max Armour transmits,
"I'm ready to roll!"
[Radio: (E) Joint-Secure] Smart Man Max Armour sproooooing.
[Radio: (E) Joint-Secure] Shield Shellfish transmits,
"We have anti-blink shields up but they've been useless. Assistance
requested."
Riot was just standing in the elevator, waiting out the
ride... that is until it ground to a stop as the ship shuddered again. Riot
looks around the small compartment perplexed "What-?" then the
warnings proclaiming a Red Alert echo through the ship. Balling up his fist, he
smacks the side of the elevator car "What a time to get stuck in
here..."
The
gauntlet of Riot's right hand retracts, and is replaced by a heavier one, with
blades on all the edges of his fingers. Moving up to the doors, he grits his
teeth as he begins to pry the open, not even knowing what deck he's on.
[Radio: (E) Joint-Secure] Smart Man Max Armour transmits,
"ZIKOMO is flying towards Giga City as we speak!"
[Radio: (E) Joint-Secure] Smart Man Max Armour transmits,
"I'm glad I'm inside or my face would be doing the whole stretchy
thing!"
[Radio: (E) Joint-Secure] Shield Shellfish transmits,
"Please restrict your chatter at this time."
Damn it.
The red alert
goes off when Assault Kangaroo's on his way to the docking bay. And then he
asks what's going on, after which he hears that there are intruders all over
the ship. Somehow. Even with anti-blink fields /designed/ to stop this sort of
assault. His mind is on the verge of collapsing, trying to ponder /how/ any of
this is possible. He decides he'll be heading to the engineering floor, too, to
protect its most vital part.
As he heads
toward the floor, he is suddenly torn between two choices: The reactor area, or
the brig? The former is vital, but somehow, he senses someone familiar in the
latter... Could it be?...
He ponders
where to go as he zooms toward his destination.
The Blue Mirage looks down, observing the spooked and preparing
forces with a small glint of malevolent interest in his lime-green eyes. As if
he were looking for something, searching for someone /special/ of which he can
slaughter with greater satisfaction, the orange spreads his
magnetically-floating arms out. The Reavers take this as a signal to flutter
out and start ramming and tearing away at any troopers as well as the controls
if they can get to it.
The
ex-Hunter lays his optics on Storm Owl ... ahhh, the Captain of the vessel. His
mighty fists clench, being driven back to his sides, and vibrant violet
afterimages trail every little movement with dizzying results. He stares at the
charged Cyclone Cannon.
"What
are you waiting for? Your death can't be put off forever."
Hi-Max continues editing his family pictures, he clicks save
on the computer once Flame Hyenard has been digitally removed, "Yes, this
looks much better." He jerks his head up once the klaxons begin to blare.
"Not good." He quickly gets up from his desk and runs out of his
quarters.
The hands of Ra Moon circle around the Fortress V, moving
with it, while its face looks straight into the bridge's main sensors. The
sheer amount of rain pouring onto the Fortress is enough to warrant a slight
change in the thrusters to maintain its altitude. Hail pounds against the upper
shields, peppered with various blasts of lightning issued from the starspawn's
cloudy fingers.
Below, the
main teleporters in Giga City were unfortunate enough to suffer a complete
power outage early in the storm. Only now has it been cast in a more sinister
light; if Repliforce is going to get reinforcements, they will have to find
slower methods of arriving, and then fight their way through the storm.
For now, it
looks like the mission is to survive.
Mighty Max boards the Fortress Number Five (like lo OK we're
not even going to carry any further with that idea) where apparently the brown
feculence is hitting the whirly air pusher in copious quantities and make no
mistake. That big and menacing ZIKOMO Ade is in the docking area and seems to
notice one spider scientist over there, so Max waves with one big blue paw and
voxes a greeting to Prismatic. "Hi, Prismatic!" he shouts. "Do
you have a basic idea of what's going on?"
Cryogenic Man is busy making the Commissary a ice amusement
part, reavers starting to stream as the repliforce gumbies are frozen to the
interior of the ships walls, ground, or anything else they tried to resist by.
Cryogenic Man waved to them and held himself up high, "Well, kind sirs.
Sorry for the delay, but I have a just to do chaps! Perhaps next time we can
meet under different circumstances!"
The
gentlemen began to freeze the area even more still. A terrible drop in
temperature would soon enough squeeze this part of the ship terribly and
endlessly as long as the gentlemen stays.
Its going to be a white Christmas after all.
Barrage Raptor arrives from the Central Tower.
Barrage Raptor has arrived.
Shadows swirl. Blah blah blah. This part has been already
established throughout the Fortress 5. The "how" is not so much
important as the "who and "where," unless they're playing Clue.
In this case,
something big, purple, and a BIG HUNKA METAL MEAT is hurled out from a toilet,
landing flat on his bacon. The hog snorts at the thought. "Gonna do some
crushin'! Gonna do some mackin'! Gonna do EVERYTHING! Gah hah..." Wait. He
looks behind himself and catches a glimpse of the one thing he never thought he
would have seen in a Repliforce building, let alone their main headquarters.
A toilet.
Something in
his head chokes up and dies at the thought. "Am I in the ladies'
room?" The urinal nearby dashes his hopes quickly enough that he decides
to blow down the door and head on out. "WHERE THE HECK DID YA ALL PUT THE
LADIES' ROOM?!"
Jayven Kuo has arrived.
The reavers spread out amoungst engineering, even as as
SecDef Troopers start to pour into the room to protect the Engineers. Kirin
does not partake in the actually killing yet though, merely smiling as combat
starts to swirl around her.
She merely walks forwards, stopping in front of the door
that leads into the engine room. She frowns at it as she uses the access panel,
which fails to open the door. "Locked themselves in, eh? How very smart of
them." The woman balls her fist, rears back, and puts a larger then
fist-sized dent in the door. Growling, Kirin balls her fist again and prepares
to batter down the titanium door.
Storm Owl stands defiantly in front of the crazed
treacherous Maverick Hunter. "You will not take this ship," he replies
sternly. Another, more burly koala bear officer behind Blue Mirage is less
tactful. Judging by the insignias and confidence he's high ranking on the
Fortress V. "If you think we're going to give up this ship without a fight
you've got another thing coming!" The officer, plainly designed to use his
impressive strength, charges at Blue Mirage from behind, trying to smash the
ex-Hunter into oblivion.
Elsewhere,
officers are conflicted on whether to man their stations or shoot the intruder.
Some do one, some do another. "Sir, we're picking up something out there
following us. Can't get a fix on it... I don't know if we're going to be able
to break out of here..." Someone else shouts, "Hail now... diverting
reserve power to the ventral shields." Storm Owl doesn't reply just yet.
He's moved back several steps, ready to shoot Blue Mirage once his XO is done
punching Blue.
Shield Shellfish begins covering Shining Firefly.
Hearing the alert, Jet Stingray gets up, merely moving
toward the door with a start when he hears the knock. He looks in the peephole
and sees.... Someone who clearly isn't in Repliforce. Just locking the doors as
he readies his weapons systems, he coughs into his first before turning on the
door intercom. "Hello, dude, who might you be? You one of Ra Moon's goons?
Cruddy weather we are having, aren't we?"
Jet pauses
for a moment, trying to reach his newly comissioned and beloved squad on the
radio, making it so that only his squad can hear his words... And later his
shouts. "Suicide Stingrays? This is your commander speaking. I have a
baddie outside of my bedroom for some reason. I need you guys to mobilize and
help me take him out. Considering he is a lackey of Ra Moon, likely has power
level that makes Vile cry for his mommy."
In another part of
the barracks, five special Repliforce Marines slip out of their tube/beds,
merely making a line as they grab their sabers which lock onto their hips and
their top-of-the-line Repliforce Plasma Rifles. "No reason, Commander? You
sure?" the leader of the Squad asks, who is numbered 29.
"He is
at my room, I think he just wants to kill me." Pause. "Or take my DNA
Soul and make it evil. GET HERE QUICK BEFORE HE GETS RA MOON HERE TO RAVAGE MY
DNA Soul! No bad touch! Or worse yet, this guy could be like Aqua Man. If he is
Mega Water S, it could be why all the girls like him. Girls like a guy who
doesn't like them. SAVE ME FROM THE DUDE WHO MIGHT HAVE FEELINGS FOR ME AND
WANTS RA MOON TO RAVAGE MY DNA SOUL!"
The Squad just
gives a sigh as they collectively race out of their room, making tracks for
where their commander is in peril. How the Stingray of Love got to be in charge
is ANYONE'S guess.
Wreck Brahma and Bolero sit down and start playing cards in
the main brig hallway. Their swarm of Reavers are thoroughly engaged in what
appears to be a rather even fight with the Repliforce gumbies that man the
brig. The numbers of the Reavers match the Repliforce firepower quite head on,
leaving them in what might be a truly epic fight to the finish.
"...No, of course not, why would I be one of Ra Moon's
lackeys? I'm your butler, Sir Stingray." Mega Water S says before blasting
at Jet Stingray's doorway with a barrage of water, intending to smash it down
with pure force. "And, ah, I have a meal for you." He called for
backup, that means Mega Water S doesn't have much time ... or does he?
"It's very scrumptious, sir."
Singularity Shrike skids to a halt just outside the
commisary doors, glaring in at Cryogenic. He scowls at the dimunative Robot
Gentleman, and knocks the Reaverbots aside with a blast of kinetic force. He
pulls his spear out of subspace and levels it at The Eskimobot.
"Prepare
to be scrapped, Cyrogenic. The ride stops her!"
Sing looks ready to tap a keg...
...a keg of
whoop-***, that is.
Now, it's been a while since Barrage Raptor was on the
Fortress V. The last time she was here, she killed two people and escaped.
She's reappeared on the ship, thanks to the power of Ra Moon, "Hmm.."
She takes a few moments to look around, and then makes her way for the bridge.

Hien laughs as the SecDef troopers in engineering open fire
on him. He raises his blades and they dance before him, knocking shots aside as
they spin and whirl. He approaches slowly, as Reavers pour in around him,
charging at the troopers. "Iiiiit's KILLING TIME!"
The Blue Mirage stands there; he is clearly not heeding the
Owl's words, entrenched in a quiet superiority. Reavers buzz about -- a cluster
of them manages to partway ravage a squid reploid that goes flailing and
dashing off toward the medical bay in desperate hopes of survival. It might not
make it.
He begins
to trot slowly, evenly in the direction of the Owl. Each contact of his boot
against the floor makes a tiny rattle, and causes the violet phantom images to
streak behind him. Suddenly, he twists his head to the side, eyes lingering on
the Koala charging right at him.
Rainbow
surrounds him. A white light pierces down from above, scooping up the orange
and then depositing him behind the marauding Repliforcer.
Blue Mirage
raises his arms, as if calling to the heavens for assistance. The reploid may
find himself speared through with a sudden glittering crystal which has just
erupted from the Bridge below him. Mechfluid spatters, circuits and parts
scattering. It's his first kill.
"If
that is how you wish to play it," murmurs the Gentleman, who raises his
hands again and then SLAMS them on the ground. Another of the shimmering,
sparkling crystals should rise up beneath Storm Owl, a massive pillar. Numerous
other crystals, smaller, grow in clusters.
Blue Mirage strikes you with a solid hit from his Energy
Pillar attack for 14 units of damage.
You take extra damage due to your Energy weakness.
The door to Jet Stingray's room is blasted off, leaving Jet
with his arm cannon aimed right for Mega Water S. "Now then, if you were
my butler, you'd know that breaking my stuff was a bit no no. It's okay though,
if you really want to work for me, just have to quit Ra Moon's forces. He's
just using you anyway. Stingrays, use Tatic 22, Sky to Earth."
"Roger!"
the leader offers. Two of the five merely take position on a level higher than
Jet's room, using the balcony to line up some shots. They open fire on Mega
Water S, the other three merely continuing on to get to closer to Jet as well
as Mega Water S. This is going to be an interesting battle to say the least.
After all, he's heard how bad the attack on the Neo Arcadia was.
RF Combat Squad <Suicide Stingrays> strikes Mega Water
S with their Cover Fire attack.
Hi-Max runs by Jet Stingray's quarters, it looks like the
Suicide Stingrays and Jet have things under control thanks to their greater
numbers. He makes his way towards one of the emergency Star Trek type shafts in
a bid to get around the FV.
Shield Shellfish nods to Shining Firefly, and promptly
flickers in appearance -- and then there are two Shield Shellfishes. One turns
around to keep a watch backwards towards the hallway, while the other moves in
front of Shining Firefly, laser rifle drawn as the three of them approach the
engineering station. It doesn't take too long for the Reavers to become visible
-- not when the poor Engineers they're mosttly slaughtering are attempting to
shove their way out when they can. Kirin's pounding on the door to the main
engine room is just one more incredibly loud sound in the chaos occuring on the
Fortress V. Hien is far more noticeable -- and destructive.
Survival?
Like Shell's concerned about something as trivial as that. The bodyguard clomps
a foot or two into the main engineering room; pulling out her other laser rifle
and letting loose a flurry of blasts without so much as a word of warning.
Reflective trick shots, designed to strike multiple targets -- maybe she's showing
off for the Firefly.

Cryogenic Man looks up from his business casual like as the
reavers begin to retreat? "What seems to be the meaning of this blokes!
You've got the entire ship to frolic free as nation 'o England herself and you
come bac-" And then they crash into the wall. "Oh..."
Singularity
Shrike is made apparent to Cryogenic Man easily. You mess with his buddies and
him, you're going to go the coldest glare you've ever gotten. Instead of a
glare though, Cryogenic Man instead forms a chain of ice, solid ice. He eyes
the figure of the Shrike. He remembers him from the Big Ben. Time to be
repayed.
"Well
chap, I'd like that. But, I don't think I'll be going any where soon. Now, we
best make something of it then chap! En guard!" Cryogenic Man slips
forward on the ice, gloves off! And that glove might be a little chilly. Just a
little.
Cryogenic Man strikes Singularity Shrike with his
Gentleman's Challenge attack.
Hien grunts as lasers rip over his form, glancing off it and
causing some damage to his armor, which sparks, but largely seems untouched.
His face breaks into a huge grin. "Fatty!" he cries, and points a
sword at Shield Shellfish. "Reavers, go!" Three Reavers charge
forward at Shield Shellfish, attempting to rend into her with ripping little
claws.

The elevator finally reaches its destination, on the
engineering floor. As the doors slide open, Kangaroo comes under the
realization that there are two people heading down to the engineering room
already. Perhaps they can take care of whoever happens to be there.
So, instead,
he barrels on toward the Brig, at least to see who is there. He runs up to the
Brig door, and attempts to get it open. Successful, he watches the door open
before him, to see his suspicions confirmed.
Seeing the
bull and the Spaniard playing cards, he tilts his head, his hands reaching for
the opposite ends of the doorway, and gripping them.
"I
should've known you'd pick the last place you stayed here to be your
destination, Bolero. How crafty of you." A pause. "Both of you, I
mean."
The bridge is in chaos. One trooper, crouching down low to
avoid being ravaged by the Reavers. She's clutching a communicator that looks
an awful lot like a phone and shouting for reinforcements. She screams as a
reaver soars past her, knocking down her squid friend and slashing him to a
pulp. Another trooper, bravely trying to keep manning her station, shouts off
additional reports about the storm's activity outside.
Smashy Koala,
the ship's XO, meanwhile, lunges past where Blue ran. Half-way whirling around,
he is suddenly impaled to the wall by the gut wrenching crystal, suspending him
off the ground. He is slumped over, apparently dead. Storm Owl raises the
Cyclone Cannon, firing off a quick blast. Hit or miss, he finds himself
attacked from below by the crystals. The pillar launches him up, crushing him
against the ceiling with a loud ~squawk~!
As for
Barrage, she'll find it difficult getting to the bridge given her size. The
turbolifts have been turned off for those that don't have clearance, and she's
too damn big to fit in any of the access tubes.
You strike Blue Mirage with a glancing hit from your Cyclone
Cannon - Snapshot attack.
"Hello Max. Apparently, Ra Moon teleported an invasion
force into the Fortress, spread across the ship. We have fighting everywhere.
Hook into our tactical network and pick a trouble spot. Let's go!"
Prismatic waves to the STARS soldier as he runs over to the Raiden and climbs
in. With smooth motions, he starts up the Armor and disengages it from its locks,
the massive craft beginning to head towards one of the closer trouble spots.
The place
is built to handle General in comfort, a Ride Armor is no problem.
Barrage's
approach to the bridge is suddenly interrupted by the arrival of the Raiden
appearing in a very non-Kool-Aid-Manesque manner. That is to say, Prismatic,
upon spotting Barrage, shouts with eyes wide, "Oh, no!"
And the
Raiden charges, boosting forward to cut off the massive dino's approach.
"Well now, Barrage. You've gotten a lot bigger. I don't suppose you'll be
convinced to leave?"
The arms of
the Raiden crackle, and a fist punches out before Barrage can reply.
"Don't bother answering that. Just leave or face the consequences."
Ra Moon takes out a medical scanner and scans Barrage
Raptor.
Repliforce Ride Armor <Raiden> misses Barrage Raptor
with its Smash attack.
"I don't think it's the menu, sir," Mega Water S
explains. He reaches forward with his hand, attempts to grab Stingray's arm
cannon and drag him out of his room...aiming to fling him right at the closest
Suicide Stingray. If they are all stingrays, after all, it's best that they
stick together. "Much better." Mega Water S adds if he is successful.
Th cover fire pierces his back, but despite the dings the Omnidroid is able to
ignore the damage.

Shining Firefly flies after Shell. He has given up on
hobbling since that would take too long. This way he can get there and start
protecting the engines. "Oh my..." is his first reaction as he sees
Shell attack Hien and Hien quickly retaliating. He is about to run in and help,
but then he sees Kirin trying to break down a door. Since Kirin does not look
familiar and Shining knows pretty much all Repliforcers, he comes to the
conclusion that she is an enemy.
Blinking
behind the Shell/Hien squirmish, Shining says, "If they have not opened to
your knocking, perhaps you should stop knocking. After all, you no reason here
except to damage our property, which I will not allow." The elderly
firefly then hmphs and jumps up. His butt glows slightly as it fires a few weak
lasers.

Barrage Raptor jumps back as the Raiden comes flying at her,
and misses her with it's blow, "Now I wonder who could be in there. Is
that you, Prismatic?" She asks, as she whips out her Howitzer Cannon, and
levels it at the ride armor, "You guys brought this upon yourselves. I
could be on your side helping to fend off this attack right now if you all
hadn't turned on me." She pulls the trigger, firing her weapon.

"Yes, sir, Prismatic, sir!" Max replies, ZIKOMO
Ade snapping off as good a salute as it can muster. Max taps into the commnet,
and the various Gentlemen signals across the fortress are painted across his
internal displays. He notices as Prismatic spots Barrage, and breaks off to one
side, hoping the spider scientist will cover him... as he heads towards a
nearby signal. Max has no idea where this will lead him.
"They
have BATHROOMS?" Max asks, looking around in awe. More at the bathrooms
than Hyper Storm H. But then he notices the piggy prime, and points a justice
fist at him. "Omnidroid!" Max bellows. "I trashed Flora Man and
for the sake of jutice and the people of earth, I'll scrap you too!"
Shield Shellfish steps forwards. The claws shred, but only a
little; snagging in one of the vents on her armour and tearing the grate off,
but not much else. The bodyguard slams one foot forwards heavily, kicking the offending
Reaver away; going into a quick spin with her shell-halves in an attempt to
take out the other two. From there -- she continues the maneuver, plowing her
way across to Hien to try the same trick on him.
It moves her
away from Shining Firefly, but no matter -- the laser-light twin keeps close to
him. The second Kirin Mathers makes a move, Shell will solidify the energy
hologram. It might not be enough, but it's a little additional protection for
the Firefly -- and he'll probably need it, given the amount of Reavers in here.

The thunder booms again, sounding more and more like hideous
laughter now that Ra Moon is so overtly manipulating the weather.
The cloudy
representation of the Destroyer gestures imperiously, a sudden cushion of hot
air forcing the Fortress V to pitch to one side. It wiggles its fingers and
blasts a hole near a launching port, delighting when several reploids and a jet
fall out of the unbalanced Fortress.
While the crystal that struck Storm and the koala recedes,
the other bunches of them remain, encrusting the control panels and having torn
out parts of the ground. They glow brightly with internal energy; they're
definately solid and tangible, as Owl has experienced. They look quite similiar
to the ones on the WilyArk, save that they are barren of runes.
A blast of
compressed wind slaps into the Orange's round belly, ripping a hole and carving
a dent ringing around the outside of the impact. The Reavers continue to float
around. One of them is slapped down by a particularly brave officer.
Blue Mirage
shrugs -- is it a taunt, to show the Repliforcer how little it has done? ...
Maybe. Either way, the fruit-based machine begins to charge forward with the speed
of a military reploid. He skids to a stop, grinding away some of the flooring
further and raises his hand again -- a prism sliding out of a depression in his
palm. It glows, and sends out multiple beams of light in all colors of the
rainbow. Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, purple ... they all bounce
around, ricocheting off of the crystals. Some may strike the Owl.
He shifts
his stance to a more solid, balanced one once the ship itself tilts to the side
with a great groan.
Blue Mirage strikes you with a minor hit from his Prism Hand
attack for 7 units of damage.

Meanwhile, back at Hog Central, the big fat round pig is
half-wedged in the doorway. Reavers that followed out of the shadowy portal
behind him are building up in number, clustered all over the bathroom until
they try and push him out, buzzing all the while in Crazy Mars Language.
Finally, the ZIKOMO Ade shows up and points an accusing finger at the hog.
"Wait
yer turn!" HSH snorts and, with a good heave, gets out of the bathroom
wearing the door frame. Some of the reavers spill out from the bathroom almost
like diarrhea. (Sorry.) He gives the larger Power Armor a good look-over, and
snorts again. "Bet you ain't gonna tell me where the ladies' room
is!" With that, he stomps right on up and, drawing back one mighty hand,
delivers a mighty slap worthy of what it is called, the intent to slap the
ZIKOMO Ade through another wall.
It'd have to be there /somewhere/.
The Spaniard
looks up from his hand of cards, squinting to peer between the lines of Reavers
and Repliforcers. "... It's not crafty of me in the least, Assault. All of
the good places were already taken," replies Bolero. He tosses down a pair
of cards and looks to Wreck, "Give me two. I'll beat you at this damned
game yet."
Wreck Brahma
watches Assault Kangaroo with cold detachment, looking back at Bolero long
enough to deal a pair of cards. "Yeah. This place isn't very fun at all.
If we had our way, we would've been romping around Ten Forward. That's where
all of the cool people are." Wreck tosses down only one of his own cards,
dealing one to himself. He looks at Assault Kangaroo again, arching a brow,
"You're not going to go away unless we beat you up are you?"
Hyper Storm H strikes Max Armour with his Slap attack.
Hien gets bashed by the shell club, staggering about briefly
before he regains his footing. "You still got the moves, Shellfish! Good
work! Now, it's time for you to /die/!" He bounds forward at Shield,
attempting to sink one of his blazing Ciphers into her chest. "Suck on
this!" he comments, smirking. He's having a good time so far - hopefully
this doesn't get ugly.

Energy Ocelot kneels behind a crate, hastily shoved in front
of the Fortress V's massive engine. A Repliforce vetern, he's been on every
Fortress since II. And now he's rallying the lesser experienced engineers
around him as they make an impromptu barrier and make weapons out of anything
that they can lay hands on. "Field of fire on that bulkhead." Energy
calls out calmly. "Anything comes through, let 'em have it. You all defend
this reactor until you're dead and maybe not even then. You understand
me?"
"SIR,
YES SIR!" Is the cacophanous reply.
Kirin's fist slams into the door again and again. It gives a
little more each time. The engineers on the other side grow progressively more
nervous with each slam. The only thing keeping some of them from dropping their
weapons and running is that there is no place to run /to/. Kirin's first rises
up once more and with a malicious grin on her face...
And then
her face slams into the door as Shining shoots her in the back. She turns, the
crisis averted for the moment. "You're right. I should stop knocking, it
just isn't working. Kirin's hands open up and she's surrounded by blazing fire
that strikes forwards and backwards. One blast striking out at Shining Firefly
and another battering the already beleagured door.

Hi-Max slides down the shaft all the way to the deployment
level, there's a chance that their enemies might want to destroy their heavy
hardware, so he's going to try and stop any that dare try to destroy their
precious vehicles.
Brrr! That's
cold, Cryogenic. Pun intended.
Sing flinches
a bit from the gloveslap, but doesn't move an inch. He rights himself, and
looks down at Cryo. He smirks and considers for a moment.He makes a fist, loads
it with force.
"Very
well, then. I...ACCEPT!"
Sing brings
the fist right toward Cryogenic's face, hoping to slam the smaller bot into a
wall.
Singularity Shrike strikes Cryogenic Man with his Gravity
Smash attack.
A fight outside the toilets. Surely, it can be said of Max
Armour, that he has never ever ever fought in here before in hisd entire life.
This is like more where you find drunks and bouncers. Oh well, at least the two
of them fit the part. However, for some reason, Hyper Storm H is slapping him,
and fighting like a girl.
"I didn't even know these were *ooof* here!" Max
complains, the slap forcing ZIKOMO Ade back against a wall. It crumples and
caves, and now Repliforce is going to bill him for a new wall. As ZIKOMO Ade
rights itself, its shoulder pods open up and a blast of shrapnel disgorges from
them to rip into Hyper Storm's face.

"We didn't turn on you, Barrage. You turned on
yourself... And then you turned on the world. Your impetuosity and lack of
restraing brought you to this pass." The explosion of the hallway bathroom
distracts Prismatic, and the Raiden's hand comes up to fistshake at Hyper Storm
H. "Dammit, you better have flushed! Get off of this ship at once, those
took effort to put in, you know!"
And then
Barrage takes advantage of this moment to howitzer his ass. The slug slams into
the Raiden, sending the Ride Armor tilting backwards from the colossal impact.
The armor cracks and spiderwebs around the shell, but it holds... For the
moment. "How could you be so full of hatred, Barrage, that you would
decide that the destruction of all life is a valid solution?" With a
seething crackle, one of the armblades ignites, and Prismatic drives the Ride
Armor forward in a charge to lunge at the dinosaur.
Repliforce Ride Armor <Raiden> strikes Barrage Raptor
with its Plasma Blade Stab attack.
The Stingray of Justice gets thrown into one of the charging
Squad Members, the unlucky trooper actually dropping his gun to catch Jet so he
doesn't get hurt. The catching gumbie gets up with a dent in his armor, not TOO
badly damaged. "Thanks," Jet offers, "Stay in close, buy the
others time!" he advises. Under Jet's orders, the remaining two put away
their guns and draw their sabers, trying to let the hitech metal dig deep into
Mega Water S's armor. It's not much, but just the pair of them can do decent
harm on their own. The other two above merely fiddle with their rifles as they
aim, as does the one that caught Jet.
As the two
attack, Jet continues to monitor the sitution with a tatician's eye. "So,
what IS on the menu then?" he inquires with a controlled tone.
RF Combat Squad <Suicide Stingrays> strikes Mega Water
S with their Generic Melee attack.
Shield Shellfish staggers sideways -- not just to avoid the
stab from Hien, but because the entire Fortress V is suddenly tilting thanks to
Ra Moon's interference. The bodyguard regains her balance and her concentration
a split-second later, but too late for the laser-light copy to do Shining
Firefly any good. The hologram flickers, shudders as a Reaver flits through it
-- then focuses again. So long as Shell's ggot a second pair of eyes she can try
and keep the engineering boss covered.
In the
meantime. As Hien's stab misses the bodyguard swivels around halfway --
attempting to club his arm at the elbow while he has the joint exposed.

[Radio: (A) RF-Chat] Singularity Shrike transmits,
"Engaging Cryogenic in the Commisary."
Shining Firefly blinks as an enemy actually agrees with him
for once. He is about to congratulate her, but then there is the fire suddenly
appearing. He could blink out of the way, but the fact that this place is very
sensitive, he decided it was better he be struck, than some random power line.
At least he had the decency of curling up so that the massive burns wouldn't be
so massive.
Once the
flames end, it is rather evident that he is hurting. His normally red armor is
now scorched black, even his butt. This is problematic, but at least he has
another trick. About a dozen firefly drones deploy from subspace and fly right
towards Kirin firing their own minibutts. "Please stop before I am forced
to take drastic measures miss."

Hien gets whacked by Shield's armor, bouncing to the ground
and sliding briefly across the canting floor, before rolling to his feet and
steadying himself. He smirks at Shield, and notes, "You are /so/ dead for
that." He bursts forward with his Ciphers roaring, hacking and slashing at
her with his blades as he attempts to hurt something important.

[Radio: (A) RF-Chat] Prismatic Spider transmits, "Hyper
Storm H and Barrage Raptor have been engaged outside the Bridge Approach."
The Fortress V lurches as it is struck by the sudden blast
of air. Pathetically it tries to limp away from over Giga City, trying to
escape this unnatural storm. Inside, those not secure are flung about like rag
dolls. Those on the bridge are no exception, and it hurts their efforts to
shoot down the Reavers.
Smashy Koala
slumps to the ground as the crystal recedes, and Storm Owl falls from the
ceiling, landing on his side with a loud -WHAM-. The girl still managing to man
her station jolts backwards as crystals begin forming on the controls.
Desperately she locks down what commands she can before systems start becoming
unavailable. Others, and Reavers too, are hit by the spray of lights. Storm Owl
is slow to get up, and he has to do it even as a bright indigo beam hits him in
the shoulder and the ship lurches uncontrollably. "Get off my ship,"
he mutters, raising the cannon and firing a potent Cyclone Cannon strike. If he
has to blast Blue Mirage through the walls to get him off, then this is damn
well what's going to happen!

Several
Zokobons leap forth from the bathroom into ZIKOMO Ade, and are rewarded with
facefuls of shrapnel. There is enough of that to go around for Hyper Storm H's
too - much of it lines itself around his left shoulder and chest, a result of
him making a timely leap to try and to shake the foundations of the very floor
they stand on. Mechfluid splashes into the floor after one such bit of shrapnel
rips open a sensitive part near his shoulder. "You think that's gonna stop
ME?! Do ya know who I am?! I'm the--"
*PBBBBBBBBBBBFFFFFT*
"Gah hah
hah, whoopsie daisy!" Something smells... like acid. Potent acid. One
Zokobon's red eye goes blank and lies on its side, motionless.

The figure of the smaller bot, Cryogenic Man, android slides
back into the wall, the face being messed up a wee bit, but nothing terrible.
He impacts with the wall, much of it shatter as he looks towards the bird.
"Never
got a real look at ya' back there. You just came out of nowhere you did, chap.
Well, now that I know what you look like I might be able to gauge you better
lad." The gentlemen pulls himself up off the shatter remains of the frozen
wall, and puts up his dukes.
However,
that wasn't what he was using. The chain he formed earlier laid beneath near
the leg of Singularity, and in a quick motion, the Eskimo hopped forward, dove
towards the side of the chain and pulled, hoping to take out the back of
Singularity Shrike's knee.

Mega Water S grunts as he's stabbed in two sides. He
stumbles away from the guards, nearing Jet Stingray's room, you see. He twirls
two water pistols into his hands, the small touches of damage building up
rapidly. He guides his pistols in front of him, sending out a burst of
hyper-pressured water towards the two closest troops, using the cover of Jet's
own men to keep from being swarmed by all of his soldiers at once. "Two
forward..." He murmurs, "Two back...Ra Moon will turn all to ash and
I've got a liscence to splash."

Creeeeaaaakk the Turbolift doors open slowly. Then with a
crunch of metal, Riot forces his shoulder through the open doors and struggles
to pull himself through. As he gets up to his feet, no sign of wha tlevel he's
on. "Mnf, wonderful." he recalls his shield and helmet, letting the
yellow visor and solid mouth piece close around him with a *snap*. He doesn't
know whats wrong, but he proceeds onwards...
Riot
doesn't have to go very far until he hears a buzzing... sliding up around the
corner, he sees the commotion... Reavers. He slides back, and swears under his
breath... He calls up every sonic weapon he has, and moves around the corner. A
Wolf like reaver sees him right away and bounds towards him with a horrible
'AWOOOOOOO!" lunging at the Police Officer in time to take a sonic blast
to it's face. Zakobans quickly follow the wolf-reaver, to which Riot responds
with his Gauss SMG gun. Gonna be a long night.
All Riot
wants is a freaking donut man, but no, had to be Reavers.
The listing of the ship does not bode well for ZIKOMO Ade,
as due to its inability to anchor itself it skids across the vehicle dock a
little before it is able to re-establish its balance.
And then
Hyper Storm H farts at it.
And you know
what's worse? Acid.
ZIKOMO Ade
now has the ignonimy of getting hurt badly by acidic gas as it frazzles and
erodes some cables, the smoke rising off it indicating a potent hit. Max
grumbles and really hopes the Repliforce aren't going to need this big oil drum
he's picking up, and now beating Hyper Storm in the face with.

The Kangaroo remains in the doorway, watching the
schizophrenic Reploid talk to him and play cards with himself simultaneously.
The 'roo stares at them both, eyes half-shut, as he steps in with one foot.
"Either
that," he says, "or /I/ beat you up." The fronts of his index
fingers open up. "I'm not about to let you or your ilk destroy the
world."
He
immediately steps in with his other leg, and thrusts his index fingers toward
two of the Reavers, a popping sound signalling two nails flying through the
air. Hopefully, they'll manage to hit vital areas. The fingertips close after
that, and Assault Kangaroo lowers himself, bringing his arms into position and
/still/ looking at Bolero and Wreck BRahma.
"Bring
it."
Kirin takes a single menacing step towards Shining.
"You'd better run away little man. You wouldn't want to die a violent
deat--AAAAAAH!" The lasers tear into Kirin's body, she jerks and spazims
with each hit. She falls to a knee, growling. "You... you have
been..."
Whatever
the last word is, it is lost in a storm-like blast of pure silence.

The wall
rattles if only briefly -- that wind blast was so strong that it lifted the
orange off of his pointed feet and swept him violently into the wall. Gravity
takes action. Blue Mirage slides down, his eyes shut to blackness before
reopening once he stands back up. He shakes his head.
"My
business must be completed."
His voice
is about as emotional as Storm Owl's, which isn't saying much. He rears back;
violet continues to pulse about him, and it even has some trouble keeping up
with him until he jumps - scraping his head on the roof of the bridge - and
careens down toward the Warbird in what could be best described as a sumo
belly-flop. His eyes are dangerously narrowed.
Blue Mirage misses you with his Body Slam attack.
"You don't know how it was, Prismatic!" Barrage
yells, even as she's stabbed by the Raiden's blades, "I was mistreated in
Repliforce, but in the Mavericks I was outright abused!" The cannon is
fired again, multiple shells ripping out from it, "I hate them, and you!
All of you will suffer for the injustices put upon me!"

Singularity Shrike is tripped, the chain smashing into his
knee joint. It groans a bit in protest as Sing throws a free hand down to the
deck to catch himself from taking a total spill. Making Newton's Law of Gravity
his plaything, he pivots on his palm, and launches himself at Cryogenic at high
speeds! He's -hoping- to take down that ice wall to let the troops behind it
out.
"Just
shut up and fight, drone. I don't have time for this!"

Hien's blade tears through the front of Shield Shellfish's
chestplate -- shears off part of her helmet and makes a few deep gashes. She
holds her ground for a few seconds, looks down at the damage, and then back up
at Hien.
"I don't
feel dead yet."
Both
shell-halves spread wide and then slam center in an attempt to pin Hien between
them. An old tactic, but useful. In front of Shining Firefly, the laser-light
Shield Shellfish steps in front of him for a few seconds, fizzles -- and then
promptly dissipates as Kirin Mathers strikes it with the Word. The Firefly is
on his own for a bit.

"ASH IS NOT A MENU CHOICE!" Jet Stingray exclaims
with a pointed finger right at Mega Water S. The Squad members are clearly a
cut above the rest, for when the water comes their way, the two swordsmen jump
and dive out of the way. Once they do their evasion move, they dash away from
Mega Water S. Why? Because the remaining three Suicide Stingrays have their
guns trained on the Minion of Ra and unleash a trio of powerful rocket
propelled grenades from their guns, hoping to catch the Omnidroid in a
three-way explosion.

Some things are not so easily excused in the modern world!
What a crazy world, where farting is rewarded with an oil drum about the snout
and neck! It was a just reward, taking it upside the chin once, his top being
flattened down by the sheer force of the power of ZIKOMO!
"Who's
runnin' hog wild on who?!" HSH says in a break in the beatdown, lowering
his left arm into a powerful uppercut - looking to strike crotch-first, but at
the very least try and knock the oil drum away from Max and embed it in the
ceiling. "I am, that's what!"
Meawnhile,
the nearby reavers congregate about the ladies' room a good two yards away from
where Hyper Storm H and Max fight, unbeknownst to the one who seeks them in
earnest.

Hien gets
tramped between Shield's shells, growling as he struggles to get free.
"You know what, Shield. YOu just PISSED ME OFF!" he shouts, thrashing
in the clamphold.
Mega Water S glances from side to side towards the variety
of rocket-grenades. He rolls under one, but the other two connect, blasting him
in front and sending him crashing past the doorwa and into Jet Stingray's room,
hitting the far wall. He takes a moment to pause and generate his weapons
systems. This may be a tougher battle than he was expecting!
Mega Water S forfeits a turn to charge WE.
ZIKOMO Ade gets hit in the crotch. This has never actually
happened before, to be perfectly honest with you. And as a matter of fact, it
actually doesn something, because the Omnidroid punch is sufficient to wreck
some servomotors leading to both hips and give a drop of about 40 per cent in
leg efficiency. So what does Max do to try and fix this?
Well, he
tries to grapple onto Hyper Storm H. Yes folks, he is attempting to ride the
pig, or given that ZIKOMO Ade is much larger than Hyper Storm, perhaps he is
trying to grapple or crush the pig. And as is revealed as ZIKOMO Ade erupts
into a flaring burst of electricity that fills the general area, perhaps he is
just trying to fry the pig.

Singulary does indeed break through the wall and into
Cryogenic Man, but things that move fast, might be hit a little harder. The
Eskimo topples over, the bird of war crashing him into his own wall, the ice shattering
in shards as the reavers behind it still fight with the others in the group.
Reavers are a prime choice for any balanced invasion in the morning. Just add
Ra Moon.
Still, with the bird so close, Cryogenic Man had to
capitalize on the event. The body of the gentleman quickly begins to emit a
terrible pulse of ice, throwing itself outwards in turn as Singularity was
near. The hands also shoot the cold mist, which when in, which would quickly
freeze whatever had the misfortune within it. it even started to turn armor
into brittle, broken pieces of its former self.
Cryogenic
Man says, "I'm sorry chap! Maybe you need to learn to /wait/.""
Singularity Shrike deflects Cryogenic from Cryogenic Man.
[Radio: (D) Joint-Chat] Riot *fzzzt* "Something must
have scrambled my radio for a while..."
The nails sink into a pair of Reavers, leaving them to
continue fighting Repliforce gumbies with only somewhat less impunity than they
had moments earlier. Wreck Brahma sighs quietly and shakes his head,
"Kangaroo. Look. Really. Either join our game of cards or go away. We're
not looking for a fight." Bolero rolls his eyes and looks at Wreck,
"You've got too good a poker face. Let's just kick his ass and go."
Wreck Brahma smirks and nods, "Sounds good to me."
Wreck Brahma tosses down his cards with one
hand. The other hand rises up and then drops down, sending a massive shockwave
through the floorboards, directed at Assault Kangaroo. "Have you ever seen
the movie series Tremors, Assault?"
Bolero misses Assault Kangaroo with his Tremors attack.
"Commander, do we pur-" "No, we got a lock on
him. He's still in the room. We still have no idea how tough he is. 29, prepare
for when he comes out, everyone else, reload."
As per
Jet's command, they let this become a waiting game, the squad reloading and
waiting for Mega Water to come out from the vantage point as the leader of the
Squad just pulls out his special pistol that he gets for being squad leader. It
has a scope on it. He waits as well.
RF Combat Squad <Suicide Stingrays> forfeits a turn to
charge WE.
ZIKOMO leaps onto Hyper Storm H's arms. As large as it is,
he doesn't seem too unencumbered though he's holding something far larger. A
light show follows, which sends electricity striking parts of the hallway
impressively. Yet, the hog stands, unaffected and undaunted.
"Ooooooh
yeeeeah!" A triumphant snort follows. "HEY LADIES!!! WHO WANTS TO SEE
ME TAKE OUT THE TRASH? ANY HOTTIES?!" No response, beyond the chattering
of reavers tearing up fixtures as they go. "What? I bet yer all in awe of
what I'm gonna do! Gah hah hah!"
See that wall
on the opposite end, Max? That's where the Hog plans to throw you. Through
that, and maybe a couple others while we're at it.

Shield Shellfish deadpans. "Ask me if I care."
While she's
got Hien pinned, she pulls a rare feat and floods the two metal shields with
electricity -- painful and sharp. It only lasts for a second or two before she
has to drop him again, backing away and prepping her laser rifle again. A brief
glance is given to Kirin and Shining and the rest of the engineering room.

Storm Owl performs some calculations, figuring out just how
powerful of a blast he'll need to smack Blue Mirage into the wall again - but
this time to the point where the wall won't hold and he will be off his ship.
Crouching, Storm Owl's natural instinct and speed pays off against the fatter
(remarkable but true!) ex-Hunter. Blue Mirage leaps, scrapes the ceiling, and
comes down. Storm Owl is long gone, knowing first hand what happens when
someone fat lands on someone less fat.
The entire
bridge shakes from the impact, though, and can be felt several decks away.
"Your business," Storm Owl replies in a mutter, "Your business
is going to get you killed." Storm Owl suddenly stands up straight and
tall and brings his hand to his forehead in a picture perfect salute. There is
an impossibly loud sonic explosion in Blue Mirage's vicinity, potentially
disorienting. Lets see if Ra Moon's sonic weakness is kept in his minions.
Either way,
the reaver situation on the bridge is almost contained. The valiant bridge crew
seems to have it under control. The same femme, still having not left her
partially crystallized station, gasps and reports, "I'm... I'm not reading
anything from the anti-gravs anymore..." Storm Owl jerks his head over and
stares at her in shock. "Oh..." he says softly, calm yet horrified.
The Fortress
V tilts to starboard.

Hien gets
shocked by Shield, his ponytail momentarily flaring up as his skeleton briefly
becomes visible. He falls to the ground smoking, and snarls, "I'm going to
kill you fast." He darts forward in a flurry of blows, hacking and
slashing at Shield as he turns into a raging beast. "I'm going to kill you
/so/ fast."
Hien strikes Shield Shellfish with his Cipher Frenzy attack.
"I have been what?" Shining Firefly never hears
what was said next because the laser-light version of Shell steps in the way.
He cannot even read the lips of Kirin to find out. However, when the clone dissapates,
he understand what happened and isn't as upset.
"Well, I
suppose that is something I will never know, however I do think it is time that
I clean off my armor. Partially oxidized carbons are not very appealing. Hold
on." Shining flies up into the air and positions himself so that nothing
overly important is behind her. He then closes his eyes to concentrate.
Nothing
happens at first, but soon, flecks of black carbon flakes off of Shining's body
and intense light shines through. Soon, all of the charred layer has
dissentigrated and Shining's body is replaced by a pulsating orb of light. The
pulsating stops right before a massive laser is fired at the intruder.

The Raiden lurches as the craft tips, the Ride Armor
stumbling to one side. Clearly, Prismatic doesn't have his air legs in Ride
Armor piloting. As more slugs strike the slow Armor, ripping into it and
shattering chunks from its frame to make it look more like Swiss Cheese (which,
by the way, is not what they use on their Ride Armor to make them so badass)
than heavy-duty ablative alloy plating. Clearly, Barrage didn't sell her soul
cheaply. "I disagree. I'd think that Repliforce treated you rather
leniently, despite your numerous mistakes and disregard for proper engagement
protocols! Of course, who can say what Ra Moon did to your mind when he twisted
you like this. Suit yourself, hate me all you like, Barrage, but revenge will
not bring you peace... Only oblivion!"
With a
snap-hum of power, the fists of the Raiden begin glowing with pent-up force.
And as the Raiden slides due to the teetering craft, Prismatic punches out at
Barrage's face, the fists exploding with detonations of released energy force
on whatever they hit.

Singularity Shrike might have been in trouble had he not
planned his follow-up move already. He gathered up more kinetic force, and launches
the wave at Cryogenic, hoping to pin the Gentleman Leader to another wall.
This has
the -completely- unintended effect of knocking Cryo's attack out of the way as
a result.
First time
for everything...
[Radio: (E) Joint-Secure] Storm Owl transmits, "Whoever
is in engineering - if we have control, we need the anti-gravity systems back
online immediately. We're not getting any response from them on the
bridge."
But apparently, try as Hyper Storm H might, it seems that
Max is a little too hard to throw. And why might this be?
Because
ZIKOMO Ade is GRAPPLING Hyper Storm. They're mano e mano, hand gripping fist,
arms forcing against one another. "You're just as replulsive as you were
before, Hyper Storm, which is more than I can claim for the Gentlemen,"
Max voxes. "But you're just as stupid."
And then, a
bright red laser shoots right in Hyper Storm's eye.

Singularity Shrike says, "There's a time for waiting.
This ain't it."

Well that's not really fun. Barrage should remember these
attacks, she used to use them all the time. But the strikes land solid anyway,
and knock the massive, ride armor sized raptor backwards a couple of steps,
"The only one going to greet oblivion is you, Prismatic!" Energy
flashes around Barrage's body, "You and your whole pathetic planet!"
Barrage Raptor projects a forcefield around herself.
"I can go all night long, Stingray. How about you?"
Mega Water S declares before the GAIA SHIELD of all things erupts from his
body, crashing towards Stingray and his men. It is less powerful than before,
but it's still a doozy. It has strength, durability, and power despite it being
composed of some sort of forcefield technology and -water-. And it's large,
tearing through the walls of Jet's room before expanding further outward.
"I
feel like someone who took a knife to a pistol fight, you know?" Mega
Water adds amiably.

The Blue Mirage thuds on the shaking ground, tremors being
felt through him and any other reploids in a nearby radius. He blinks once or
twice; his green hands grip onto the partially crystallized floor and he pushes
himself up. One leg stretches in front of the other leg, and brings the massive
robot to a stand.
He tilts
back, staring hatefully at Storm Owl and preparing to summon into his grip the
mirror rod that was once his other personality's. Nothing is expected from the
salute; he is about to laugh when he is proven utterly wrong by a terrible
noise filling his very being, sending him staggering backward and clapping his
hands to his audial cups. He trembles from the sheer power of the waves
resonating off of his chassis.
Some of the
crystals shatter, quite noisily.
[Radio: (E) Joint-Secure] Shield Shellfish grunt.
[Radio: (E) Joint-Secure] Storm Owl makes a mental note.
The laser that strikes Kirin in the chest is terrible in
it's savage power. Taken off her feet, the young woman is thrown through the
air, once again into the door that she's been trying to get through.
Energy
Ocelot pulls the safety off of his second-hand rifle as an ovoid dent appears
on the doorway. "Everyone get ready... the reactor CAN NOT fall!" The
engineers all shift uneasily.
Kirin falls
out of the rut in the door and lands on her face, dazed and in pain. Her chest
is a massive black scar now. She touches it gingerly and her hand comes back
covering in cauterized blood. The woman floats into the air, glowing golden
lines criss-crossing her body. "You... WILL... DIE!"
Pressure
builds around Shining, before erupting in a blast of hellfire.

[Radio: (E) Joint-Secure] Smart Man Max Armour transmits,
"Should we be tilting like thiiiiis?"
Another Zokobon moves its way around Hyper Storm H's leg.
Somehow, its presence must have captured the auto-targeting of the laser before
it could lock onto the hog itself, because that's what ends up getting fried by
it. It explodes in a puff of gumby death. Better it than the hog.
"Them's
fightin' words! You want ta see repulsive, don't ya? Huh? I ain't even begun!
I'll wax ya across the floor! You'll be eatin' knuckle sandwich and a foot-long
sub with a kick! I'll huff, and puff, and BLOW ya all the way out ta
Jupiter!"
While he
rants and raves about all he's going to do in this deadlock, that same acidic
stench that came prior wafts out from his mouth in between the actual hot air.

of shouts and circuitry frying, "No."
[Radio: (E) Joint-Secure] Singularity Shrike transmits,
"...I hadn't noticed."
Assault thinks that he'll target the Reavers at the same
time he's fighting Bolero, as long as he, himself, lives on. He sees Brahma
raise one arm before slamming it down, and instinctively jumps forward the
moment the shockwave starts zooming toward him. Clearing the shockwave, his
fingers open up, and shoot one nail each at two more Reavers before they close,
while he walks toward the duo.
"No," he says in response to Brahma. "Disaster movies
aren't my bag." He just assumes that it's a disaster movie from its title.
Because he sure as hell hasn't heard of it. When close to them, he attempts to
grab them both by the back of the head.
Assault Kangaroo strikes Bolero with his Lv. 4 Physical
Attack attack.
The kinetic force does eat up the cold, but the gentleman
already threw himself forward. Time for everything, and this was time for
action. Action involving punching birds. "Aye chap. But if you're not
going to wait, then you're going to miss so much of the world. If you don't
slow down and take in everything around you, you won't defeat me!" The
gentleman shifted out, some of the ice flinging against the wall trapped
helplessly.
When
Cryogenic Man slides into another wall, stopping and aiming, his hands combine
in a sort of way, one against the other, aiming the next strike.
"I
hope you're not too afraid of the cold, lad..." The ice spurts out from
the grip of the gentlemen, shaped as a large pillar of ice with the entire
fixture meeting at a blade at the top, traveling quickly to try and pierce him.
Cryogenic Man misses Singularity Shrike with his Cryogenic

Shield Shellfish twists as much as she can -- not very
quickly -- in an attempt to ward off Hien's blows. A particularly deep cut goes
through Shell's left shoulder and upper arm; she draws back sharply before the
arm is rendered nonfunctional. She grunts, which is her sole method of
conceding to pain.
Quickly she
slams her right arm forwards, attempting to keep Hien's slashes out of the way
and get a good shot towards the center of his body, a rough and brutal tactic.
No finesse here, just headlong fighting. Now, however, she raises her voice;
attempting to yell over the sound of lasers and Reavers. "GET THE ANTIGRAV
BACK ONLINE IMMEDIATELY! THE BRIDGE CONTROL IS OUT!"
She doesn't
yell often. The world /must/ be ending.
Shield Shellfish misses Hien with her Guard Shot attack.
"Feeling a bit confident, are we?" Prismatic
manages to roll with the craft this time, keeping his feet as he watches the
mutual brawl between Hyper Storm H, Max, himself, and Barrage. With a hum,
Prismatic forces additional power into the capacitors, and works on moving
himself into a better position to fight from. He knows well enough that Barrage
can't shoot through her own forcefield, unless Ra Moon gave her some kind of
cheesetastic timespace warping death gun.
And if he
did, well... He's going to find out soon enough.
Repliforce Ride Armor <Raiden> forfeits a turn to
charge WE.
"Move out!" Jet exclaims as the water explodes out
of his room and toward Jet and the three at the bottom level. Jet is able to
grab one and fly him out of harm's way, but the other two that did the sword
attack get nailed and hit rather hard. They struggle to their feet as one
pistol shot rings out. It's aimed right for the head, and if it hits, it might
sting a bit.
"Knife
to a gunfight?! I'm not the one with the power from an anicent evil. When I get
power from Duo or some heroic Stardroid that isn't dead yet, THEN we will talk
about fair fights!"
Jet always
one for calling it as he sees it. Even if he sees it wrong and doesn't know it.
RF Combat Squad <Suicide Stingrays> strikes Mega Water
S with their Sniper Shot attack.
Hien darts to the side, the shot narrowly missing him. He
smirks at Shield, as he glowers with rage, and says, "Too slow!" He
performs a quick backflip, his feet trailing in an attempt to kick Shield in
the jaw - twice - before he lands back on the ground. "You really need to
pick up the pace here, Shield."
Hien strikes Shield Shellfish with his Martial Arts attack.
With his action a resounding success, the grabbing is
followed by the kangaroo lifting both of them up and slamming their foreheads
together. Like in many old action films. It never gets old. After this, Assault
shoves them back away from each other, smiling.
"You
don't headbang very much, do you?"
If Bolero can
make a bad pun, so can the marsupial.
The breath of Hyper Storm H is really doing a number on
ZIKOMO Ade. Who ever would have thought? Cables fry and several visual screens
go offline as the cabling connecting the Ade to the outside world via its
cameras happens to be destroyed. Max breaks off the grapple, and he doesn't
even have time to form electron saber. Thus, in a gesture of necessity, he
pulls one of the unformed pieces of the saber from his leg armor, wielding it
like a knife. Using this, he attempts to hack at Hyper Storm.

Riot continues to fight through the Zakoban, one of the
pests lunges at him spike first, impacting against his shield and exploding.
Good thing the shield was in the way... Riot picks himself up and listens to
his radio. Looking up and around he sees a sign on the wall, 'Engineering
->' Riot turns and follows the arrow dowwn corridors and intersections until
he comes to engineering, and the sounds of battles with in. Peering around the
corner he sees the fight between Kirin and Shining. Riot grimeces and takes out
his SWAT Buster, he huffs a breath, despite not needing too, and rolls into the
door way, SMG up and firing at the once Bio weapon... once Ballet dancer.

Shining Firefly blinks as the glow fades and he appears to
have his normal colors back. It also appears that he is rather dazed as if that
attack drained a lot out of him. In fact, he does not even pay much attention
to Kirin. He just tries to figure out what is happening as the air around him
starts glowing.
Thinking of
what happened when he last was glowing, Shining decided it would be best to get
out of these, so he blinks to another place in the room as the fire erupts.
"Oh
my..." he says and then notes Riot's attack on Kirin. "Oh right... we
are being invaded." He stumbles towards Kirin to hit her with his cane if
that is at all possible.

No, not quite. Barrage is building up for something totally
devestating. Prismatic can probably see the power building inside of the
shield.

The saber buries itself all the way through Hyper Storm H's
left arm, mechfluid smashing and electricity surging through abruptly destroyed
systems throughout the limb. Yet, Hyper Storm H doesn't even so much as flinch.
In this, his hand attempts to wrap around the hand or arm wielding the saber
and gives it a hard, hard tug.
A hard, hard
tug to a hard, hard head that still grins and beams like those who think
they've still got the gigantic upper hand. (He does have at LEAST a gigantic
hand, but that's beyond the point right now.)

The femme still manning her station jolts back as the
crystals holding her console shatter from the sonic salute. Unsurprisingly, Ra
Moon can be defeated by flying straight, studying hard in school, respecting
your elders, and obeying all the rules! Unfortunately, the Thunderous Salute
takes a lot of energy and Owl doesn't have the luxury of doing it a hundred
times to clean out the ship.
Instead he is
busy focusing on Blue Mirage. His ship is on the verge of collapsing and this
mech has murdered his XO and is in Owl's way to save the ship. Maybe Mirror'll
crack just like the crystals did if it's given a good solid impact. Working
under this angry theory, Storm Owl charges towards Blue Mirage, hovering just
off the air so he can use his sharp talons to slam into the mech.

Spies are weak vs. snipers. Mega Water S catches the bullet
in the face and crumbles to the ground again, swearing. He's unaccustomed to
fighting so many people at once. He then coughs and says, "Calm yourself,
old chap. This is just business, but my word today is clearly your off
day." He feels at his wound, it has damaged his forcefield system so he
can't hide behind that for the time being until autorepair gets to it. Pulling
back to his feet and a crouch Mega Water S murmurs, "I'm actually less
powerful than I was before, old boy. I am not one of the Legion."
He whips
out his pistol suddenly and fires a water blast towards the sniper. He can't
afford another sniper shot to his head. That could be fatal.

Singularity Shrike spins to the side, allowing the ice spear
to fly by him as he presses his attack. He brings the force-heavy spear around
at Cyro's flank.
"About
that. You don't plan on leaving anything to -miss-. Can't abide by that. Shame,
really. You -were- kinda cool." Sing pauses as he 'slides' by Cryogenic
after the spear slash. "No pun intended."
Sing has
apparently -not- noticed the tilting and shaking of the ship...

Shield Shellfish has a jaw?
...yeah, it's
under that helmet somewhere. The kick mostly makes contact with a lot of
helmet, however; cracking the crystal up front and leaving a sizeable dent. The
bodyguard winces and takes a single step backwards as the Fortress V tilts yet
again. She reholsters her laser rifle
"Fine."
*fzztPOP* *fzztPOP*
The bodyguard
disappears -- and reappears just behing Hien, swinging one of her shell-halves
at the back of his head with furious brute force.
Shield Shellfish strikes Hien with her Mama Said Knock You
Out attack.
The blow strikes Hien on the back of the head, forcing him
down to the ground. He rolls over, on his back, as the sword in his left hand
disappears. He extends his arm and a grapple shoots forth, aimed at Shield's
chest with a little grabbing claw.

Oh, gee. She's powering up too. Well, Prismatic will have to
do something about that. Tromping forward, the Raiden begins unloading punches
into the forcefield in quick succession, attempting to break it down before
Barrage is ready.

"Immediate update required."
[Radio: (E) Joint-Secure] Singularity Shrike transmits,
"Duking it out with Cyrogenic. Might be a moment..."
[Radio: (E) Joint-Secure] Riot transmits, "Would you
believe I was on your ship when the attack started and I'm now in engineering
fighting a former umbrella bio weapon?"
ZIKOMO Ade's arm is almost wrenched clear out of its port.
In fact, it's wrecked so sufficiently as to make sure it will definitely not
see any use for the rest of this battle. Max feels the pain in a minor
flashback through the trace armour, and now is the kind of time he would really
want to think about running ordinarily. But this, like every abttle against the
Gentlemen, is for the fate of the world! He can't run!
ZIKOMO Ade
lifts its remaining good arm, the panel on the forearm revealing its twin
linked gatling guns. The barrels whirl and unleash a chattering blast of fire,
but the potential for it to swing wide across the vehicle area is high. Will it
be a swing and a miss?
Max Armour misses Hyper Storm H with his Shot attack.
[Radio: (E) Joint-Secure] Prismatic Spider transmits,
"Max and I are still battling Barrage and Hyper Storm H. Barrage looks
wounded, but is currently using a forcefield to delay her defeat. And Max is
looking in bad shape."
The Spaniard rolls his eyes as Assault dives over the
shockwave. He stands up from his sitting position, whirling himself out of the
way of the incoming nails. He finds himself grabbed by the head, launched
head-first into Wreck's skull. "That's a painful pun, Assault," he
intones coldly.
Wreck Brahma
grunts under the impact, leaning back a bit from the impact. The Brahma lifts
Bolero and puts him on his shoulder, standing himself up calmly. Wreck rams his
fist into a wall, ripping an entire section of wall out as he whirls and
attempts to smash Assault with ponderous force... And walling.
Bolero strikes Assault Kangaroo with his Small Miscellaneous
Object attack.
Not good enough, Prismatic. Barrage continues to charge,
"You're gonna die.." She laughs a bit.
Barrage Raptor forfeits a turn to charge WE.
Shield Shellfish glances down at the grappling claw on her
chest.
She looks
back up at Hien.
Both optics
narrow.
"Hands
off, b****."
Shield Shellfish misses Hien with her Punch attack.
[Radio: (E) Joint-Secure] Storm Owl then transmits in a
slow, steady tone, "Should it come to it, I hope that everyone has
reviewed the procedures for abandoning the Fortress V safely."
[Radio: (E) Joint-Secure] Shield Shellfish grunt.
[Radio: (E) Joint-Secure] Smart Man Max Armour transmits,
"Hyper Storm has weakened my armor with successive chemical attacks. If he
hits me again in the right places then this thing will come apart."
[Radio: (E) Joint-Secure] Storm Owl is too worried to make a
mental note!
Hien smirks as he rolls to the side. "Tough
cookies." As his anger returns, he gives the line a quick tug, and it
reels Hien right in to the big Reploid. He sails at her, his sword out as he
disengages the claw as it sends him sailing over Shield's head. Performing a
somersault, he slashes at Shield while he's inverted, before landing on the
ground behind her.

"Care to wager on that, Barrage?" The fists keep
coming, still working on bashing his way through with another energy punch.

Cryogenic Man hadn't seem to have much luck on the get go
today, but he's a gentleman, and gentlemen never give up! He takes the slash
towards the side, some of the parka being ripped and torn by the spear, the side
of his body bursting open with mechafluid as he grits his teeth. That bird will
pay dearly.
"Well
chap, I think your ships a little off tilt. You may not be affected, but I
think chap, we better even the odds a bit, just a pinch!" The gentlemen
calls as he thrusts himself forward upon the ground, dashing forward on the
ice. "I'm not trying to be your cup of tea, lad, but I was trying to help
before. Now, I'm just trying to help a little harder lad! Lets shake on
this!" The figure skates forward and tries to grab Singularity by the
hand.
If so, the
ice would spread upon his figure, catching him in a thin sheet of ice. Could be
worse.
Cryogenic Man misses Singularity Shrike with his Icy Grip Of
Doom attack.
"What kinda guns are those?! Do ya think they can hurt
ME?!" Hyper Storm H pumps his arms up, his right higher than his left due
to injuries, as bullets spray wide. A fit of snorting laughter follows.
"It doesn't matter HOW big ya are! I'll knock ya down like yer
house!" His right arm winds back. Looks familiar? He rears it back and
swings it straight for the cockpit before trying to hold the whole ZIKOMO Ade
down to the ground and hold him there. "Say my name!"
Hyper Storm H strikes Max Armour with his Grasp attack.
Bullets tear into Kirin's backside and the woman arches her
back as she staggers forwards. She just vanishes out of exsistance when Shining
swings a-- of all things-- a cane at her. She reappears in the middle of the
room, hovering off the floor. "I have... HAD IT! NOW YOU WILL ALL
SUFFER!" Kirin draws in a deep breath and fills her lungs with air. She
opens her mouth...
And
suddenly techniccians, reavers, equipment, and almost anything that isn't
directly nailed down is flung towards the walls, invisible waves of force
radiating outwards from Kirin.
The door to
the reactor is thrown open, crushing a pair of unlucky engineers underneath it.
Those holed up in the engine room open fire from behind their limited,
improvised cover.

Mirage is still recovering from all of the rattling
vibrations being sent throughout his entire body, dislodging some minor wires
here and there and shaking up cables. Simulated nerves pop here and there,
wracking the reploid with great rushes of pain and then -- nothing. There's no
feeling.
There's no
feeling as the twin talons rake across his armor, shaving off pieces of thick
armor and exposing the layer of shock-absorbing gel underneath. He stumbles
back, but despite the tilt of the ship, he retains his balance ... mostly. This
is too stressful for his hydraulics.
Again,
energy envelopes him, a white beam of light spiriting him away until he
manifests himself on top of a control panel layered over with crystals. It
groans beneath his weight. He looks up at the Owl. "You may have to try
harder," he remarks.
The Mirror
Rod blinks into Blue's hand, and its red-gemmed tip pointed. He thrusts it
ahead -- suddenly, a wide, brilliantly sparkling laser beam fires, crystalline
barriers augmenting it.
Blue Mirage misses you with his Mirror Beam attack.
Barrage doesn't have much choice now. She drops the shield
and stands up, as she levels a weapon which looks like General's Apocolypse
Cannon, from back in the day. She levels it right at Prismatic's Armor,
"Yes, I would." She says, "Oblivion says hello." There's a
blinding flash that should fill the whole room as she fires.
Barrage Raptor lowers her forcefield.
Barrage Raptor strikes Repliforce Ride Armor <Raiden>
with her Ragnarok Cannon attack.
"Sir, I think regular bullets are more
effi-AAAARH!" the Squad Leader cries out in pain as his hand is shot off.
Jet ties his best to dive in the way of the shot, but only gets knicked in the
shoulder for his attempt. Shield Shellfish is the bodyguard not him. The other
four merely ready their guns. "Sir, we have this handled!" they call
out in unison, clearly working in perfect harmony as they fire on their foe. Of
course, two of them are really badly damaged and one of them has seen better days.
Clearly, Mega Water S might not be AS powerful as before, but he still isn't
someone to take lightly.
RF Combat Squad <Suicide Stingrays> strikes Mega Water
S with their Plasma Volley attack.
Crushed! Flashed! ZIKOMO Ade is held down to the floor. Max
grunts as he almost falls right out of the trace system. "Your name
huh?" he asks. "You want to hear your name?"
Full body
contact was not such a good idea before. It's the same now. Max attempts to
activate the electrical systems for one last burst. "Your /name/, Omnidroid,
is ABOMINATION! And we're going to work together to defeat you ALL!"
Max Armour misses Hyper Storm H with his Jolt attack.
Singularity Shrike slaps a hand down on Cryogenic's forearm,
hard. He then completes a very -fast- forward flip, attempting to bring a heavy
heel crashing on Cyrogenic Man's hooded head.
"How
about we don't shake on it, and you just -leave!-"
He then
notices the ship's erratic movement.
"Yeah.
You need to leave."
Singularity Shrike strikes Cryogenic Man with his Crushing
Blow attack.
"Oh yeah?" says the Kangaroo. "You make them,
too." And then Brahma starts to carry him on his shoulder and rip a
portion of the wall out. Assault is caught off his guard, as he is far too late
to make preparations for dodging it, blocking it, or even kicking it back at
them. Thus, the fragment strikes him in the upper body and knocks him onto his
back, causing him to roll onto his stomach. Undaunted, he springs himself up,
with visible damage on his front, and runs toward the bull, the fingertips
opening again. Once close enough, he attempts to make gaping wounds in Wreck
Brahma's stomach with a roundhouse kick using his left leg. All the while,
three Reavers are the targets of three more nails: two with the right hand
before the kick is delivered, and one with the left hand during the kick
itself.

The slash travels right down the middle of Shield
Shellfish's helmet as Hien flies overhead. The bodyguard grunts again,
painfully. She's running low on energy. There's talk of abandoning the Fortress
V. Not to mention -- whatever might be going on in the engineering room as they
desperately try to keep the ship running in the storm, and worry about keeping
the main engine room intact. Riot showing up is an immense relief, but it may
not do much to avert the situation. Then the Gatebot's attention is attracted
by Kirin's shout. She stumbles forwards, takes a step --

*fzztPOP*
Both
shell-halves spread wide, she cups them towards Kirin Mathers. The Word will
return to her. Not empty, however -- Shield Shellfish takes one step back, then
a second, and then finally collapses backwards entirely, landing with a heavy
thud on the floor of the engineering room, unconscious.
"WRONG!" Hyper Storm H raises a leg and strikes it
down onto the ground, hard. The oil drum he previously punched into the ceiling
falls back down, into his injured arm. The various reavers skitter about,
passing by Hyper Storm H and Max Armour as he raises the oil drum above him.
"You
call me Hyper Storm H, bee-yatch!" With no further grandiose pretense as
to the philosophical ramifications of their battle, or any noteworthy glances
into the interesting things going on all around them, the oil drum is slammed
down with enough force to possibly puncture through the armor and crush its
pilot down THROUGH the ground - in a worst case scenario.
His injured
arm sparks again from previous injuries. If lady luck allows, his fingers might
just twitch and he could end up accidentally tossing the oil drum half-way
across the hallway.
Hyper Storm H strikes Max Armour with his Large Foreign

Max Armour falls to the ground, unconscious, due to massive
systems damage.
"Ugh..." Mega Water grunts as he's caught by another
plasma volley. His body is sparking and he is leaking from numerous wounds. He
might very well be on his last legs. He crumples to his knees. "You...
Magnificient. Good job, my man." He whispers vaguely as he leaks all over
Jet's NEW carpet. The NEW one, not the old one, you see.
"But...not
good enough." Mega Water S grinds his teeth together as he holsters one of
his pistols, raising his free hand which collapses into a watter cannon. He
fires at the four remaining soldiers, aiming to catch them with the water wave,
and use the back current to refuel his systems and repair some of his damage!

Prismatic recognizes that weapon. He helped fix it enough.
Or rather, he recognizes a weapon that looks like that. And he realized just
what it can do.
Prismatic's
eyes widen, and the Raiden raises its arms in a defensive guard just as the
cannon fires. Seething energy rips into the Raiden, vaporizing the remaining
armor in moments as cascading failures begin all over the craft. Subsystems
begin to go critical, and the cockpit gains the faint tang of ozone and burnt
circuitry as it sparks out. The Raiden is slammed into a wall, and rebounds,
teetering... teetering...
And then
Prismatic reveales that the other four hands aren't just for show. They've been
rerouting systems and repairing the control pannel as soon as it exploded. The
HUD comes back online, and Prismatic mutters as the Raiden stumbles, and then
straightens, the melted wreck looking to be on it's last legs. "I think,
Barrage, that you missed a spot. I'm not feeling very oblivious."
Boosters
spark behing the Raiden, and it roars forward, launching itself into he air as
the twin plasma blades rise... And then fall, the shining weapons attempting to

The heel comes crashing down into the figure of Cryogenic
Man, it had left a good mark, but nothing terrible. Looking up to the figure of
Singularity Shrike, the gentleman shakes his head. "While I never, chap!
If you don't shake on it it isn't official!" Cryogenic Man slides back
against the wall once more, taking a page out of the book of Ice Man, his hands
out and aiming towards the Shrike.
"And
if it isn't shook upon. It isn't official, so no shake no tea time, chap!
Sorry!" The wall will aid him here and when the bird is in flight,
Cryogenic Man spills forth a terrible combination of air and ice, swirling him
back into the wall if caught. He may be cornered, but he isn't through.
Cryogenic Man strikes Singularity Shrike with his Frost

Riot is flung back, body and all into a wall. Crushing
machinery and electronics. Seems like he always ends on the floor, or against a
wall. Getting knocked around is starting to annoy him. "Kirin Mathers...
" he says with a surprisingly level voice "You'd join Ra Moon.... I
know what Umbrella did to you was unforgivable, but..." he hauls himself
up again to both feet, swaying slightly. "But your willing to get every
one ELSE caught in you revenge?" These words have already been said a dozen
times on the radio but whats next... "what about your family... what about
JANE WHITE?" is that a random name... or is it one with some actual
meaning? It'll be hard to tell as Riot flips around his shield and launches a
grenade from a tube on the back between Kirin and Hien. The flash bang should
make some awful noise and disorient them, and maybe some of the technicians and
works, but he hopes it's worth it.

With a mighty screech, the entire floor gives out beneath
ZIKOMO Ade, causing the power armour to collapse into the inner workings of the
Fortress V underneath the vehicle area floor. With most of its frontal area
including both eyes smashed, and its right arm fully removed, also buried
within the gubbins, it doesn't look like it's getting up or getting out for
quite some time. Max is of course unconcious inside.
[Radio: (A) RF-Chat] Prismatic Spider transmits, "It
looks like Max has been disabled."
[Radio: (D) Joint-Chat] That Cranky Guy Max Armour's
distress beacon fires.
Shining is not entirely surprised that his cane missed. He
was not really moving very quickly, but the fact that Shell managed to save him
a secont time impressed him. Well, it impressed him until Shell collapsed on
the ground from taking the hit too many times. "Oh my... not again."
Shining sighs
as he looks at Kirin and then Hien. Both are responsible but so is Shining. She
fell protecting him. The least Shining can do is take out one of them, so
settling on Hien, Shining says, "I may be injured, but we will not have a
repeat of what happened last time. This time you fall." He leaps into the
air and charges up his butt to fire a powerful blast that is supplemented by
the few drones he still controls.

[Radio: (A) RF-Chat] The 'Shield Shellfish got KOed by
covering someone' beacon goes off.
Storm Owl has learned to get away from the laser by now,
given its potency. In some ways it is ironic. Mirage Orange seems unable to
feel anything. Either the pain that Storm Owl is dealing out to him, or it
seems the the thrill or horror of the battle. Storm Owl on the other hand seems
to be growing more agitated and pissed off. After slamming into Mirror, he
finds himself in a dangerous situation, being this close to the mech.
In the end it
isn't skill that saves Storm Owl but luck. Blue blinks away just as the ship
pitches again to the side. The Fortress V Commander is knocked off balance and
sent smashing into a wall. That looks like it hurt, but not as much as the
laser would have. Rather than hitting Owl, it sizzles past and slices off what
used to be the main gunnery display table. Storm Owl recovers as fast as he can,
working on pure mechanical efficiency. Angrily, the war bird once again charges
towards Blue Mirage, diving across the mostly ruined command centre towards the
ex-Hunter. "If this ship," he says just before impact or miss,
"goes down, Mirror Orange, I am going to make sure that you go with
it." Apparently he does not care for Blues' demand.
You strike Blue Mirage with a minor hit from your Sonic Dive
attack.
Thankfully for Jet, most of his nicer stuff is moved to his
new location in Atlantis. However, the fact that his room is wrecked and all of
his nice stuff screwed up. Like that pair of panties that he got from that
supermodel when he went to his first high end club.
Of course,
that pails in comparison to the last attack, the drain attack which takes out
the two weaker squad members. Jet moves in himself, takes their guns.
"Fall back you two, I'll pick up the slack." They are weak, just
giving a nod before going off. "There is a time and place to die... And
this isn't it. You guys will die in battle, just like I will, but I'll push
back that date as much as I can."
The other
three just train their guns toward Mega Water S, kicking off the safeties of
their guns. Jet gives a loud cry, "Now, FULL POWER!" With that, a
solid sheet of plasma rains down at Mega Water. If there was a time to dodge,
this would be it. Of course, Jet's room is dead either way. DEAD DEAD DEAD.

Hien gets struck by the sonic wave, knocked against the wall
as his armor cracks. He climbs to his feet, shooting an icy glare at
Mathers...And then he finds himself struck by a torrent of Shining Firefly's
lasers. He staggers this way and that, cut all over, before he falls to the
ground, knocked out cold.
Hien has disconnected.
Singularity Shrike is bowled over by the blast of cold air,
his armor cracking and splintering in places as he slumps to the floor. He
picks himself up and tries to shake the cobwebs loose as mechfluid seeps out of
the cracks. He takes a stock of the situation, and decides he needs to buy
himself a moment or three.
"...what
if I don't -like- tea? Ever consider that? I doubt it. You don't care whether
this planet lives or dies."
And then
Sing brings his plan into action...
Light pulls itself in toward Singularity Shrike, wrapping it
around himself like a protective clock.
Which, in fact, it kind of is.
At any rate, Singularity raises a protective barrier around himself.
The floor in front of Hyper Storm H collapses, sending Max
to, as far as the hog knows, to his IMMINENT DOOM. He raises both arms in
triumph, even as shrapnel wounds leak mechfluid, and his injured arm sparks.
"Ya can't cook THIS!" A couple flexes for nobody but the reavers who
frankly don't care beyond their prime directives to KILL, he still seems to be
in good mackin' shape.
He starts to
stomp off towards the other way, in search of apocalypse and extinction! For
everybody else. "Now where the heck is the ladies' room?" Turns out
he's walking in the completely opposite direction of it, of course.
The Reavers go down, having taken quite a smacking from the
nails and Repliforce gumbies. There's still quite a lot of Reavers swarming the
brig though, but at least now the Repliforce troops are starting to make some
headway. Of course, somewhere in the midst of this, a Repliforce gumbie trips
over a Reaver corpse. It's quite unfortunate, yet comical. A flying
sunflower-looking Reaver is upon the gumby in seconds, but the fight seems able
to go either way.
Wreck Brahma grunts, rumbling ominously as the kick rips
through two layers of Wreck's armor. He steps back, violet optics narrowing
angrily as his hand reaches down to survey the damage. Semi-superficial,
really, but it's still upsetting. Wreck snorts angrily as he rears back with a
mighty fist, looking about ready to punch /THROUGH/ Assault Kangaroo. The
massive fist comes hurtling forward, aiming for Assault's face when...
Bolero
suddenly drops from the ceiling to land behind Assault. Bolero throws a combo
of open palm strikes at Assault's back, hopefully drawing the Kangaroo to turn
around. At which point, Wreck Brahma attempts to crush Assault Kangaroo against
a wall with one hand. The other comes around, trying to smash Assault with a
massive punch.

Kirin draws what is essentially an enormous titanium paddle
out of no-where, presumibly to bludgeon things to death with. But then she's
blind. She screams in a rage, swinging wildly at the foes that aren't in range.
Energy
Ocelot screams out, "FIRE!" as the Reavers start to pour into the
engine room. The fighting is brutal but the engineers are prevailing, fighting
gear and curcuit to hold back the black tide.
The Fortress V, meanwhile, has slowly been speeding up due
to the forces of gravity as it tries to get away from Giga City. It is losing
both altitude and plates of armouring from the storm and the internal damage.
Those not attached to the floor may be having difficulties right now.
Mega Water S tries to stand, but his movement actuators were
already damaged. He shakes his head and smiles. "This isn't the end,
chap..." as the plasma tears several holes through his body, the damage
sending a pulse to his neural net that forces a shutdown. He collapses in a
heap, just barely downed by that last assault.
Of course,
many of the blasts hit Jet's poor room. HOpefully, damaging Jet's digs wasn't
Mega Water S's plan all along. It wasn't, actually, it was damage Jet's digs
and kill Jet. He had two goals!
Blue Mirage grunts irately -- the ship itself pitching
managed to save the Owl from further destruction; but he chances a look at the
damage he DID do and appears more satisfied. Seeing Storm streak down at him in
a blur of red, orange, and green, he narrows his eyes again.
*WHAM*
The
ex-Hunter is plowed against, shudding into the wall, crystals breaking in his
path with the noise of shattering glass. He skids along the ground on his
skidplate, even spinning once or twice in a full circle from the sheer speed.
He does not seem perturbed by it at all, and replies simply: "Mirror
Orange is dead."
The rod is
still in his hand, besides. The Chinese Gentleman raises the fearsome weapon
over his head, and then, its crystal pulsing, swings it down in a heavy arc,
glittering plasma following it.
Blue Mirage misses you with his Mirror Rod Crescent attack.
Barrage Raptor watches Prismatic come at him in that wreck
of a ride armor, and turns stepping away as he roars past her, "Tsk
tsk.." She says, "Guess I'll have to try it again." She lobs a
block of C-4 the size of a beachball at the armor, and then detonates it, just
to do even more damage to the room they're battling in.

Prismatic Spider has arrived.
Cryogenic Man was ready for an attack, but instead, saw that
the field had went up around Singularity Shrike. This only meant that it was
time to play harder. "Well... chap.. honestly.. aye. What the bloody hell
do you think about what I care? You and the others blew up our only bloody
planet and then tried to erase us from existence from whence we came!" The
gentleman huffed towards Singularity Shrike.
"I'd
almost say you /enjoyed/ buggering us in your space ships and fancy vehicles,
causing the entire planet to become alert. We didn't do anything to you, and
now you expect to escape consequences most dire by taking the 'Its our planet'
defense!" The gentleman calls. "I've got one things to say,
chap...!"
The
gentleman launches himself against a wall, which is poised downwards due to the
tilt, breaking it off and letting it fall towards Singularity.
"No
sir, I don't like it!"

Shining Firefly hobbles over towards Shell's body. He
produces a set of medical supplies from subspace. It is not much, but he knows
how to work with not much which is why there is a lot of shoestrings reinforced
with special chewing gum holding the Fortress V together.
The first
thing he does is scan the various injuries to determine which are the most
severe. Once he realizes a number of the power conduits are damaged, he quickly
works on repairing them, and soldering some of the infrastructure so that it
can support her as she walks around. All of this is done in a matter of a
minute as Shining's hands move with surprising speed and precision.
It comes with
age.

Singularity Shrike -B****SLAPS- the wall aside. He looks a
bit irritated as secondary generators come on-line, adding to his energy
stores. He raises a single finger and waggles it at Cyro.
"I,
drone, had nothing to do with that. I had nothing to do with the original
expidition by Epsilon's people, or even the second bunch of fun when that ship
crashed in Cuba."
Sing folds
his arms across his chest. "Though from the sounds of it, this all needed
doing. Ra Moon can not be allowed to have his way."

The marsupial is preparing to dodge when he feels several
strikes against his back. He whips around to see Bolero, and he is promptly
grabbed, feeling himself slammed against the wall. One big fist later, there is
a rather... massive dent in the front of his torso. Still held there, he looks
to Brahma. And then he looks to Bolero. And then he remembers that two of his
digits are still open. And thus, after a bit of gazing at them both, he points
at the duo with both hands, and shoots a nail each at one of their eyes. A
cheap tactic, yes, but then again, there truly is no honor in war.

The Raiden has to obey physics, and as such, it can't do
much as the C-4 is detonated. The Ride Armor is toasted, sent crashing into the
wall and falling to the ground, wrecked. Apparently.
But the
seared and cracked cockpit opens, revealing Prismatic Spider. And he looks
pissed. "Congratulations, you just blew up a Ride Armor. Happy? Too bad
the whole point of the Armor is to protect the pilot. Come on, let's do
this!" His hands are flung towards Barrage, thick cables firing from his
arms and attempting to entwine around Barrage's massive form. This would be
annoying, excpet for the powerful electric pulse that travels down the wires to
back it up. "Now hold still for a moment. This might sting a little."

Riot caught Kirin in his flash bang, good. Hien is out
thanks to Shinning and... the ship lists "Hey! Someone make sure this
thing doesn't capsize over a city!!" The sonic generates powerup in his
shoulder armor. He doesn't know if Kirin is also weak to the sonic forces that
wreck havoc with Reavers, but theres one way to find out...

Shield Shellfish's optics flicker back open, somewhere in
the interval where Shining Firefly works on her. A few seconds are spent
silently taking stock of the situation and recalling what has just happened,
and checking how much time has elapsed.
"The
engine room," she says eventually.
The bodyguard draws herself back up to
full height -- covered in slashes and dents, but back on her feet. Shell looks
utterly determined to continue on. Her left arm, however, seems to have finally
given out under the strain of injury. Shining's repairs kept her alive, but
Shell is remaining conscious now through sheer force of will.
Hyper Storm H is still trekking about. With the Fortress V
moving as it is, he finds himself leaning off towards a side. "Heh! Sounds
like this hunka junk's comin' down with a case of OWNED. Gah hah hah!" He
comes towards a dead end. No doubt an emergency measure to keep unsavory sorts
out.
So he raises
a leg and stomps the floor so hard that it collapses under him. No need to go
through when you can go around whatever direction you'd like! When the dust
settles, Hyper Storm H stands just outside of Jet Stingray's room of loooooove.
Ooh, the crew quarters, he'd wager! And where there's quarters, there's women!
"LADIES!
C'mon out! Big daddy hog's got sunny breakfast!" He doesn't know what he's
getting into.

*WHAM!* "Then you're going to be following in his
footsteps," Storm Owl retorts loudly. The impact with Mirror Orange hurt
Owl almost as much as it did the Robot Gentleman. He cradles his gun-arm with
his hand, stepping backwards. The bridge crew has put down the reaver
infestation on the bridge. They are in the process of trying to regain control
of the consoles despite the crystallization. It is not easy.
In the middle
of the command centre, amongst shattered glass and broken panels, the
relatively tiny Storm Owl stands before the relatively massive Blue Mirage,
badly injured. From behind his glasses, he watches as the Gentleman raises the
rod up over his head. Time slows down as Storm Owl observes it coming down for
him. His Simian Monk (worst. trainer. ever) training comes back to him in a
flash, and Storm Owl raises his gun arm, striking Blue Mirage's arm as it comes
down. There's a loud *crunch* as it is /just/ enough of a parry for Owl to
sidestep the attack. The crunch, however, seems to be the arm being dislocated.
Recoiling his free fist, Storm Owl puts everything he has into one tremendous
punch, aiming as high as he can in an attempt to smash the ex-Hunter in the
jaw.

Reed attack.
Cryogenic Man shakes his head, "You don't fully
understand what I am trying to get at do you, chap? Its too bad. And the tone
you're taking with me isn't very good at all. I would have liked it better if
you would actually call me for what I am, the leader of the robot gentlemen.
You may have the advantage in your home base, but it doesn't mean a lick if you
cannot back up your actions." The gentleman hmphs, shaking his head.
"Aye,
and there is that change that you may be wrong, Ra Moon does need to have his
way. By any means possible." The gentleman thrusts forwards his hands and
starts to pepper the shield with hail after hail after hail. Ice is not your
friend.

[Radio: (A) RF-Chat] Shield Shellfish transmits, "I...
still... function!"
[Radio: (B) RF-Secure] Shield Shellfish, strained for once.
"Ship status."
Wreck Brahma falls backward, stumbling as he tries to pull
Assault Kangaroo's nail from his optic. Bolero similarly stumbles backward,
disappearing into the Reaver melee. He too is busily trying to remove the nail
from his eye. It burns. IT BURNS SO MUCH!
Shining Firefly looks up at Shell and says, "Escort the
injured out of here. That is your new duty. We will take care of Kirin and the
ship. Just get them out unharmed."
Shining then
blinks to the generator and quickly scans the area. "Hmm... anti-gravs
seem to be in trouble. Power source shorted out. Need to cut that wire."
Shining starts working on cutting and redirecting power. "That circuit is
charred... it is useless. Time to get a back up." He sends a drone to
search for it in the supply closet in the back.
The Stingray lerches to one side as the FV moves about, the
Stingray just giving the order of "RELOAD, PREPARE FOR SECOND WAVE!"
The remaining three are battered, but they are defending their home. There is
nothing else to be done. Jet tries to get a report, but it seems like its chaos
all over the ship. To Mega Water S, Jet offers a simple, "Better luck next
time" to Mega Water, knowing that if it wasn't for his super Squad, there
is likely chance that Jet wouldn't still be standing.
Of course,
then trouble comes back down. "So I get a SECOND womanizing Omnidroid. If
you want to be a perv then you have to get taken down! Engage the enemy! Forget
the guns!" Jet cries out.
On Jet's
command, the three remaining squad members throw their guns and charge for
Hyper Storm S, trying to pull out their sabers and stab them right into the
Omnidroid in a most painful manner.
Singularity Shrike whips out both hands, extending the field
out to meet the Hailstorm. He growls a bit, continuing to gather power for
'that.' He glowers at the Robot Gentleman.
"No.
You're nothing more than a very smart drone. You just bounce from owner to
owner, with little in the way of free thought. I almost feel sorry for
you...untill I remember that your masters want to rule or destroy everything. I
-do- feel sorry for you when I realize it'ss not your fault."

[Radio: (B) RF-Secure] Shining Firefly transmits,
"Anti-gravs have shorted out and some of its hardware is damaged. I am
working on fixing these problems. It will take a minute or two, but it can be
fixed so long as there is no major interference."
RF Combat Squad <Suicide Stingrays> strikes Hyper
Storm H with their Voodoo Time attack.
Blue Mirage leans back -- as he is met with equal force from
Storm Owl, he begins to shove his thick arm harder; only for his arm to fly to
the side, the weapon launching out of his grip and out of one of the windows -
*CRACK* - it disappears. He begins to twist around as a counter; but his
'face', really no more than a white plate with a lid in it, is crunched in by
the punch.
"In
actuality ... what was stated before applies more directly to the previous
speaker than to myself."
He towers
over Owl, and then SLAMS his green palms down, hitting the sides where the Owl
stands instead of the Warbird himself. Suddenly, a wave of massive crystal
spikes roll out in front of him in a wide carpet of the strange glowing
substance.
"By which
I mean ... no, you."
Blue Mirage misses you with his Energy Spikes attack.
Mega Water S lies on the ground, and leaks.
The kangaroo
watches Bolero vanish into the Reaver assault, and takes a moment to fire yet
another nail at two more Reavers, including the one assaulting the tripped
gumby. Closing the digits again, he runs toward Wreck Brahma, trying to amend
his current state of blindness on one side, and stands at the bull's side,
before raising one, large foot, and dropping it down at Brahma's face. The
hands would serve to cushion the impact, but in the process, the nail would be
driven /further/ into the eye.
The universe
really does hate Bolero.

[Radio: (B) RF-Secure] Shield Shellfish transmits, "I
will begin evacuating the wounded in... approximately fourteen seconds,
sir."
Cryogenic Man shrugs, "If you feel that way. You know,
most of the gentlemen are fine gents. We've been helping as much as we could during
the age, and none of you trusted us. Even betted that we would turn against you
once more. Pity you had not seen that in your ignorance to accept us, you had
separated us from the allies, and instead cast us out into the bowels of Ra

The figure
of the Eskimo walks forwards upon the shrike, a grin upon his face. "I've
toyed with you for long enough. And if you aren't coming out. That I object to
fighting you, good sir..." A chrysalis of ice erupts from the ground
around Cryogenic Man, forming at the top. Two can play this game.
Cryogenic Man projects a forcefield around himself.
[Radio: (B) RF-Secure] Storm Owl transmits, "Hurry,
Shining."
"What, second?! What're ya talkin' 'bout," Hyper
Storm H snorts as he moves in closer towards Jet's voice. From the door, he
sees a horrific site. THERE AIN'T NO LADIES HERE EITHER! (Oh, and Mega Water S
lies deactivated.) "WHAT?!" He snorts.
That's when
it strikes him, thrice over, deeply. All three swords jam into Hyper Storm H's
front side, one of them jarring loose some precious armor plating and maybe
splashing a few of the squad members in robot grav-- mechfluid. "Aw, now
that ain't cool!" He snorts yet again, but those injuries are catching up
to him. Damage readings are severe, signs are weakening all the time.
"Why do
I hafta catch a whiff of this sausage party?!" He snorts and sniffs. The
sniffing grows, as does the faint appearance of yellow energy. It seems to
travel in a direction towards Hyper Storm H itself. "There's only room for
ONE hunka hog here!" He flexes arbitrarily in the direction of those who
are still in the position to beat him into the ground, if they don't fall
victim to a certain pull of something... leaving them.
His
auto-repair systems get to work, restoring some more control back into his left
arm.

Barrage almost forgot. She figured if she'd done enough
damage to the ride armor, it'd just kill Prismatic. But then he just pops up
and tangles her up, "You little bastard!"
Kirin Mathers grabs at her head, dropping the weapon. It
clatters to the ground but the sound is lost in the last of the reavers thining
out. The Mouth of Ra Moon is very much alone now in the engine room. But she
does not care. She vanishes out of exsistance as the air fills with the shots
of the engineers, reappearing elsewhere.
Kirin falls
down to one knee, struggling to stay even there. "You... I do this for my
family... for Jane." Her fist clentches. "Don't you see it? The
corruption that spreads across our world? There isn't anything that you can do
about Umbrella... William Wiggin has already prepared for my betrayal... it
won't even fiscally hurt them." Kirin spits. "Who is there that can
protect people from men like him? No one... no one can. So I will save them...
save everyone... the only way that I can."
Inky
blackness starts to well up around Kirin, slowly pulling her down into
non-exsistance. Tears slowly stream down her face, mostly from the pain of her
wounds.
"I'm
going to kill them all... to save them from their pain."
Kirin Mathers retreats from the area swiftly, leaving her
open to pursuit or parting shots from Storm Owl, Ra Moon, Singularity Shrike,
and Ballade.
[Radio: (B) RF-Secure] Shield Shellfish transmits,
"Evac commencing."
The storm continues unabated outside. The ship is tossed
increasingly harder, but this is nothing out of the ordinary considering the
last few minutes. The top of the Fortress is pocked with dings and scorches
from the various unnatural phenomena being flung at it.
Inside the
ship, a dark shadow rises above Kirin as she falls, but does not leave with her
shadow. From its height and distinctive outline, there is no mistaking who it
is. Naturally, the Destroyer has come. It gestures towards Shining Firefly --
somehow, the console in front of the scientist rips itself apart, revealing a
molten interior that spits forth fire.
Things just
took a turn for the worse.
Ra Moon misses Shining Firefly with its Volcanic Burst

[Radio: (B) RF-Secure] Shield Shellfish transmits, "Oh,
hell."
Singularity Shrike grunts at the tactic. Not a bad move,
really. Sing collects the force he was using to protect himself, and collects
it into the palm of his hand.
"Your
choice," Sing intones as he reverses the ball in on itself, and it starts
to pull in some of the frost to it. The Shrike chucks the ball at the
Gentleman. "I prefer life. You won't convince me otherwise."
Singularity Shrike lowers his forcefields.
Singularity Shrike misses Cryogenic Man with his Black Hole

Prismatic keeps the electrical pulses running until he gets
close enough. A Gravity Hook allows him to keep his balance here, unlike the
Raiden itself. "Actually, I think the definition of bastardry for
mechanical life is a bit different than what you might expect. But that's
irrelevant." Holding himself still, the Spider Scientist's crystal
glitters, running through the spectrum quickly until it becomes a white glow. A
moment later, the electrical pulses end, the cables detatching as Prismatic
launches a spire of energy, attempting to shiv Barrage where it hurts.

As she's drawn down into the darkness, Kirin laughs
bitterly.
"And
now... you'll all die too..."
[Radio: (B) RF-Secure] Shield Shellfish is way too calm.
"Ra Moon present in engineering."
[Radio: (B) RF-Secure] Prismatic Spider transmits,
"This is bad."
[Radio: (B) RF-Secure] Shield Shellfish transmits,
"Yes, sir."
[Radio: (B) RF-Secure] Singularity Shrike transmits,
"...that's not good."
Hi-Max is glad he's hovering while in the docking bay, too
bad some of the heavy equipment isn't tied down. The tossing is enough to send
a spare ride armor toppling down, it narrowly misses Hi-Max by a few inches.
Storm Owl grunts as his fist hits Mirror Orange's 'face'.
The lid of the ex-Hunter's faceplate is crumpled. Storm Owl's knuckles are as
well. He'd cradle his fist but he only has one hand, and now both his arms are
hurting. Storm Owl keeps up the flurry of melee attacks as best he can anyway,
hovering in the air slightly and slashing at Mirage with his talons and sharp
beak. He arches an optical brow at Blue's verbal retaliation. Owl is unsure
about whether that was a good insult or a bad insult, but it does not matter.
His flurry of additional attacks, regardless of their impact, comes to a
screeching halt as Blue slams his hands down on the deck, creating large
impressions in the floorboards. Storm Owl instinctively retreats, and it saves
him from the crystal spikes shooting outward. They impale monitors and
consoles, but if there is one thing the bridge has plenty of, it's those two
things.
"Sir,
still getting no response from the anti-gravs. Captain Shining is apparently
working on the issue..." the femme still at the console reports. She's no
combatant, and she hopes she isn't distracting Owl. Storm Owl grits his beak,
muttering into his radio, "All non essential personnel... abandon
ship-" Owl is cut off as once again the entire ship lurches, and he's
knocked off balance and sent skidding across the deck along with everyone else.

Two of the three Suicide Stingray members fall down with the
powerful attack from Hyper Storm. Are they dead? Jet and the squad leader have
no idea. They would drag the two and run, but they already know what to do.
After all, this ship is their home. They will NOT let their home fall to punks
and traitors.
"For my
brothers!" the leader of the squad cries out, just trying to dig into
Hyper Storm with all he has. Jet would help, but the squad member is blocking
him. It's okay though, the squad leader is flipping out, so if he hits, it just
might hurt a bit.
RF Combat Squad <Suicide Stingrays> misses Hyper Storm
H with their Old School Sabers attack.
[Radio: (E) Joint-Secure] Jet Stingray transmits,
"Guess what? I'm always essential!"
Cryogenic Man stayed in his prism of ice, almost like a
temple the Robot Gentlemen stayed inside, doing nothing but waiting, keeping
himself held up inside the fortress which he had created himself. The 'black
hole' which came at it was quickly dismissed. The fortress was stronger than
that. Ice as hard as Cryogenic Man that could throw. The area began to get
colder.
"Chap,
I choose life myself. That is why I sided with Ra Moon."
Cryogenic Man forfeits a turn to charge WE.
Shield Shellfish regards Shining Firefly's orders with
solemnity -- although she does not move just yet. She is not sure if she can;
besides that, attempting to evacuate would be an exercise in futility if Kirin
Mathers is still hanging around slaughtering the wounded. Shell begins to step
away as the blackguard dissipates --
Oh, hell no.
All the
bodyguard can do for a few seconds is watch flatly as Ra Moon gestures and the
console is destroyed. She's not down yet. She's still conscious. Maybe she
can't do much against him, not with a ruined arm and all those slash marks. But
she's still alive. That's something. The bodyguard abruptly drags herself over
as best she can into the engine room, -- dragging her frame in front of Shining
Firefly, and glaring up at the Destroyer.
"Get the
hell off my planet."
Shield Shellfish begins covering Shining Firefly.
Shining Firefly works feverishly. He does not even joke
about Storm Owl saying the obvious and being a captain. Of course he would have
said the joke wrong but that does not matter. Rather, he mumbles about
unnecessary back-up redundant back-up systems.
Pulling piece
after piece of hardward and circuitry from the engines, some good some bad. The
point is he is cutting it down to its bare minimum which would make it easier
to work with.
In fact, it
was just when he was going to reapply the power that Ra decided to pay a visit
and offer his own help. As the engine exploded, SHining was propelled backwards
to safety, but then he notes Ra's presense. "So, it seems you like to be
thorough. Well, I do as well, and I will find a way to fix what you just
did." His butt starts to glow brightly as a very bright light appears
quickly to try and disorient the... whatever.

Riot watches
Kirin sink into the shadows "...You're -wrong- I-" he stops as more
shadows form... The shape of Ra Moon. "No!" He dives towards where
Shinning Firefly is working on the controls and swings around his shield on to
his arm, putting it between himself and the Destroyer of Worlds... who knows
how long it can possibly last.
Riot projects a forcefield around himself.
Riot begins covering Shining Firefly.
"..."
There is
silence, and the Blue Mirage lifts his hands again, tucking them back to his
sides. He twists back once, twice, and again until he scrapes against the back
of the wall. A crack is put into the window. Finally ... the orange pulls away
entirely, and leaps off of the control panel. He clears the crystals and lands
with a shudder on the ground. He faces Storm Owl.
"Remember
your place."
With that
said, the glittering field surrounds himself -- his violet-glowing form being
swallowed up by light and darting upward into the ether.
Blue Mirage retreats from the area swiftly, leaving him open
to pursuit or parting shots from Storm Owl, Assault Kangaroo, Mega Water S,
Singularity Shrike, Riot, Shining Firefly, Kirin Mathers, Ballade, and
Repliforce Ride Armor <Raiden>.
[Radio: (B) RF-Secure] Shining Firefly transmits, "The
Anti-Grav generators have been destroyed. Well, the main part of it. I have
some of the redundant systems I removed, but it will be very hard to try to
rebuild it, though it could be possible. Crude, but possible."
Singularity Shrike looks at Cryogenic like he's crazy. He
doesn't have time for this; the ship's going down and Storm Owl has ordered
nonessentials off the ship. Sing bouys himself in the air, and pulls out a very
large cannon. The leg pylons deploy but hit nothing as it whines during the
charge up procedures.
"Then
you need to have your audials checked. He wants everything destroyed. That, by
default, includes you -and- your fellow Gentlemen."
The cannon
belches forth an electromagnetic blast that Cryogenic would remember from last
time.
The rockin' Repliforce wagon continues to get in the way of
things. In fact, the squad leader of the Suicide Stingrays goes wide only
because Hyper Storm H looses footing and goes tumbling until he can grab onto a
part of the wall. Numerous reavers tumble along behind him, not as fortunate to
get a hold but will probably continue their reign of Old School Mars Style
terror with others far less prepared.
"Screw
yer brothers! I want your sisters! Do ya got any? Huh?!" He climbs his way
back up towards Jet's room where Mega Water S lies. "Do ya?" He's
back in the squad leader's range again, in which he takes one hand and tries to
grab him by the head. "If ya don't, get lost!" He then tries to throw
him back to the, er, back, in the direction the ship's tilting. His visible
systems underneath the removed plating beep and flicker ominously as
auto-repair slowly makes use of the energy he got off of the lot of them
earlier.

you can jury-rig it and keep Ra Moon from destroying it again, go for it."

[Radio: (B) RF-Secure] Prismatic Spider transmits,
"Otherwise, he's just going to blow it up again. The best we can really
hope for right now is to make the descent as gentle as possible."
[Radio: (B) RF-Secure] Shining Firefly transmits,
"Well, the original housing for it all was destroyed, but there are so
many redundant parts I removed, I could build a free-form version."
Mega Water S <3.
Bolero pulls the nail from his eye and bursts free of the
Reaver swarm. He flings a sonic blast at the nail aimed for the Reaver
attacking the tripped gumby. The nail disintegrates within a second. The
Spaniard lands in a crouch, turning his head slowly to peer at Assault
Kangaroo, his long coat draped over his form. One hand rises from the ground,
sound wrapping around the hand as he slowly clenches it into a fist.
Wreck
Brahma's left optic physically shatters under the force of the impact of
Assault Kangaroo's big assed foot against the nail impaling it. Wreck falls
back, slamming into another wall, blasting a rather large dent into it before
he finally stops. He grunts darkly, looking toward Bolero for a fraction of a
second before turning his mono-optic gaze upon Assault, spreading his arms
apart. Wreck rises to his feet once more, a metal shriek filling the air as his
armor scrapes against the wall behind him that he's using for support.
Bolero stands
up, slinging twin sonic bursts at Wreck's hands as Wreck brings his hands
together for a massive clap. The Brahma's hands collide with titanic force,
channeling the sonic blasts from Bolero into a single thunder clap. The
resultant shockwave might just knock Assault off his feet... And most of the
Brig defenders and offenders too, at that.

There is an extremely loud buzzing sound the exact moment
Shining's light obscures the Destroyer. When it clears, it is no longer
standing there, but instead on the opposite side of the room. Its voice is
venemous:
"You
cannot blind those who do not need eyes."
The wind
starts to pick up -- did a part of the wall break? -- whistling through the
generator room. It becomes so loud that it is difficult, if not impossible, to
speak over its keening wail. The force shown by this power is such that it is
nigh impossible to stand against it; if you are lucky, you will simply have to
grab onto something for a few moments. If not, you might be tossed into
something hard, or have your circuits rearranged by what wind manages to enter
your frame.

The Squad Leader is slapped and the blow is more than enough
to take him out. Jet's Elite Team is defeated. It took two Omnidroids to do it
though. However, while Jet is damaged himself, he is not defeated quite yet.
Narrowing his optics he gives a simple, "You messed with my men. You want
to ravage my ladies. You get no mercy."
With that,
Jet launches into his attack on Hyper Storm H. Tossing the guns aside, Jet goes
melee. "THREE STOOGES SUPER ASSAULT!" he cries out, merely going into
a tirade of facesmacks and eyepokes, giving the proper 'Woowoo!' and other
proper 3 Stooges noices as he attacks.

[Radio: (B) RF-Secure] Shining Firefly transmits, "It
seems... oh my... this will take awhile, but I won't give up this easily."
The Black Bolt Cannon is not dodged, the force field taking
it fully. The shield takes it, and just seems to hold on tightly before
dispersing in a bright pattern of light, evaporating back into the air which it
came. Cryogenic Man stood there, his own feet frozen to the ground to hold him
onto the falling ship. He smiles delightful smile he would at a tea party or
with his Robot Gentlemen.
"Chap.
I don't think you understand /fully/. Think a little bit deeper, chap. You
might understand."
The two
arms of the gentlemen aim towards the figure of Shrike once again, pouring wave
after wave of cold mist, rushing forth to encompass the Shrike. Maybe it might
knock some of the 'wisdom' into him.
Cryogenic Man lowers his forcefield.
Cryogenic Man strikes Singularity Shrike with his Cryogenic
Wave attack.
Barrage has to try and take out Prismatic. She can't lose.
Not to him. He's a high ranking member of Repliforce. She has to destroy him.
So how is she going to destroy him? With all eight of her missile launchers, as
all of them unleash their missiles upon Prismatic's form, trying to destroy
him.
Barrage Raptor misses Prismatic Spider with her Octo-missile
Launchers attack.
Angrily, Storm Owl goes ahead and raises the Cyclone Cannon
despite the pain in his arm, firing a powerful blast of compressed air. It
likely misses Blue Mirage as he blinks out. Thankfully, there is no longer
anything useful behind him that could possibly be destroyed. Though... that's
not really a good thing. "Oh God... we have reports of Ra Moon in
engineering," that same plucky femme at the console reports.
Storm Owl
staggers to the ship's status operations table. The surviving members of bridge
crew struggle to get to their positions, by now dulled to the destruction
they're trying to work in. "Not getting anything from the main
generators," someone calls out in between mechanical coughs. "Partial
control of the thrusters."
The Commander
grips the table's edge hard and taps a button. Miraculously the info he wanted
comes up. "Angle us to the Lagrano Ruins. If we have anything left of the
shields project them on our ventral side." Outside, the Fortress V keeps
speeding up and losing altitude. The bottom of the ship nearly grazes one of
Giga City's skyscrapers, but it seems like it is going to clear the city.
SLAM.
Both
shell-halves bolt shut -- around Shining Firefly, who is far smaller and fits
between them easily. This leaves Shield Shellfish out in the open, to endure
the torturously loud buzzing sound and the worse blast of force. There is a
painful shrieking and rending of metal. Eventually, Shield Shellfish is torn
away from her own shell-halves; seperated at the joints. She flies back and
lands against the wall of the engine room, helmet cracking straight down the
middle, slamming hard enough to shatter armour and optics both. She slides down
to the ground, leaving a streak of mechfluid on the wall behind her.
Jury-rig
won't fix this.
The beam of light that the Mirage teleports out through
twists and turns into a faint double-helix momentarily. It has been distorted
by the wind, and even if the reploid is in an energy form at the moment, he
seems to have felt the effects.
But he
cannot react in any way. The ex-Hunter is gone. Only the crystals remain.
When Hyper Storm H manages to get himself into the inner
sanctum of the Stingray of Love, his hopes are very high. Jet Stingray's
praises from the womenfolk are far and wide, his style can't be beat... well,
he wants to end it here and now, because there can be only one!
And it so
happens that the other one is fighting like a dork. It doesn't go anywhere
until Jet Stingray manages to gauge an optic with the eyepoke. This would hurt,
but Hyper Storm H simply snorts, unimpressed.
"Dude,
man, you're lame!" He declares as the precursor to a lighting-fast punch
that comes straight out of nowhere, just to show the Stingray of Love how REAL
PIMPS throw a punch while he leans up against the entryway to where Mega Water
S lies defeated.

Riot's shield takes the full brunt of the attack, even as
Shell risks her utter destruction to save Shinning Firefly. Riot watches as
Shield Shellfish practically comes flying apart from the impact. His mouth
pulls back in a sneer behind his visor, head turning to look at Ra Moon past
his riot-shield. He wants to attack it.. to destroy it... but he knows thats
useless, he'll have to stay and protect shinning one way or the other.
Riot begins covering Shining Firefly.
Shining Firefly starts to pick up some of the hardware
pieces when the wailing starts. He then watches as the circuits start to be
blown around. Some of the pieces break as they hit the wall. He was trying to
keep track of them until he was engulfed in darkness. At first he thought he
went offline, but then he felt the slamming. Suddenly he understood that he was
inside Shield's shell. At first this was a bit awkward as it felt like a
personal place to be, but he decided it is best to work the pieces he can where
he is. Thus he spends a couple seconds soldering them together in what is the
start of a new anti-grav generator.
Granted, it
is a very crude and unsafe anti-grav generator, but it is still an anti-grav
generator.
Mega Water S has been hung out to dry, Hyper Storm H. Hung
out to dry.
Prismatic leaps back as the energy spike fades out, ams
flickign and weaving in complicated patterns. The air gains fain shimmers and
traceries as he weaves, something thin and almost invisible etruding from small
vents on his arms.
And as the
rockets fire, they discover what Prismatic is doing: The rockets begin slicing
apart in midair, detonating harmlessly some distance from the Spider Scientist.
"You're not the only one who's gotten stronger, Barrage. But unlike you, I
didn't have to sell my soul to do it. Revenge and hatred are such hollow goals.
Why don't you realize that? But then, you probably can feel little else
now."
The
glinting air extends in an attempt to surround Barrage, and then pull tight.
"I'm sorry."

Barrage Raptor falls to the ground, unconscious, due to
massive systems damage.
Singularity Shrike is slammed into a wall by the Cryogenic
Wave. Armor flakes off of his frame, with mutliple mechfluid leaks. He's a bit
slow picking himself up, but when he does, his eyes still burn defiantly. This,
however, is not the thing to worry about.

black fist of his.
"Understand -THIS!-" Sing brings an explosive right hook to
bear, and then crashes into the wall and does not get up.
Singularity Shrike misses Cryogenic Man with his Event
Horizon attack.
Singularity Shrike falls to the ground, unconscious, due to
massive systems damage.
[Radio: (A) RF-Chat] Singularity Shrike transmits his
distress signal.
[Radio: (A) RF-Chat] Infantry Corps Captain Assault Kangaroo
transmits, "...So much for my ****ing back-up..."
[Radio: (A) RF-Chat] Prismatic Spider transmits, "Less
complaining, Assault. If you can't hold your opposition, retreat. We appear to
be outmatched."
Jet Stingray gets slammed right in the side of his helmet,
getting sent to the ground. Jet gets up slowly, groaning as he does. Having no
idea that ALL the Omnidroids seem to be out to kill Jet. Of course, if he knew,
he would likely be flattered. "What the heck? I am summoning forbidden
mystic arts. Of COURSE they look dumb, why ELSE would they be
forbidden!?!" He tries to get up, leaving himself open for another attack.
[Radio: (A) RF-Chat] Singularity Shrike is obviously not
getting off this ship without help, Prism.
[Radio: (A) RF-Chat] Prismatic Spider is working on that.
The kangaroo finds his nail disintegrating, failing in his
attempt to save the fallen soldier, as Bolero rematerializes from the chaos in
the background. Assault prepares to block, but does it a little too early, as
he is suddenly knocked off of his feet by a loud thunderclap, onto his back,
with his spike toes nearly touching the ground before the feet fall on their
ankles instead. Struggling to stand, he pushes himself up with both feet, and
gazes on at the duo, the fluid of his body leaking from his mouth, and only one
eye able to be fully open at one time; the other is halfway closed. He staggers
toward the group, back and forth, as he positions himself near Brahma. And then,
suddenly, his left leg is raised, followed by a long flurry of side kicks,
still fast in spite of his present state. If successful? It would be ended with
a spinning side kick with the other leg. Hopefully, one strong enough to send
Wreck Brahma flying toward Bolero.

Hyper Storm H is simutaneously disappointed, and bleeding to
deactivation. "Aw. You just take all the fun out of beatin' you up."
Sorely disappointed in finally seeing the supposed legend for himself, he
raises his arms with renewed vigor. "Gah hah hah! I'm gonna show ya how
REAL Mack Daddies do it! Ya know what we do when they don't put up, Jet?"
He takes one
big hoggy hand and rams Jet's head up against a wall. "Ya better learn
that well if yer gonna be in the big pig pens!"
Hyper Storm H strikes Jet Stingray with his A Strong Pimp
Hand attack.
Assault Kangaroo did some pretty significant damage with
that kick. Wreck Brahma is knocked off of his hooves and sent skidding along
the ground with a horrendous shriek of metal on metal for a few feet. Bolero
comes sprinting toward Brahma, using a sonic burst to launch himself into the
air and over Wreck's momentarily stunned body. Bolero lands on Wreck's right
leg, partially blocking the massive, foot shaped hole in Wreck's three layers
of armor. Bolero smirks slightly at Assault, sonic energy visibly distorting
the air around Bolero's hands for several seconds before he starts slinging
sonic bursts at the Kangaroo.
Bolero misses Assault Kangaroo with his Bew Bew Bew attack.
The monofilament webs wrap around Barrage before she even
realizes that they're there. She roars out and tries to lunge at Prismatic, but
then the webs just rip her armor apart, and she crashes into the ground,
falling to peices, literally.
Riot is no longer covering anyone.
Cryogenic Man watched Singularity come towards him. He
watches. The look in Singularities eye's tells him everything. He understood
the gentlemen was wasting his time, and was not leaving, even if the Fortress
Five went down. The answer to this was E-Ring. And even this was a 'maybe', as
Ra Moon could technically teleport him out. It was a win win situation for
Cryogenic Man, and Singularity had seen this.
As the fist
comes, ice is spewed forth to delay this, causing the eskimo to slid backwards
and eventually fall and twist, his legs meeting the wall before he kicks off
while he's on his stomach, only to watch Singularity miss him by an inch and
wallop into the wall.
The
Gentleman's hair was still unmoved. The platinum blonde magnificence standing
tall.
As he
stopped sliding, he brushed off the shreds and threads of ice he collected, and
walked towards the Shrike's resting spot.
"Very
good duel, wot?"

transmits, "...Where do I go if I'm to retreat?"
[Radio: (A) RF-Chat] Prismatic Spider transmits,
"Docking Bay."
Ra Moon advances with a slow and purposeful walk. It is
slightly inhuman, just enough to make him appear horrifying. Perhaps it is
normal on Mars.
The creature
pursues Riot and Shellfish's shell, raising its hand, which glows with a
horrible power. It will spare no expense in destroying these two -- but first
it most stop that foolish scientist.
The
Destroyer stops, clenching its fist and holding it over its head. Wary of
attempts by Riot to stall the inevitable, it decides to just stop the two from
moving at all.
It lowers
its hand, but traces something discreetly in the air. It burns invisibly, not
only in the air, but in the very life equations of those before him.
They cannot
move. They cannot move at all.
That done,
Ra Moon turns towards the reactor, reaching out as if to rip it from its
bindings.

transmits, "...You mean we're just going to let them--"
[Radio: (A) RF-Chat] Infantry Corps Captain Assault Kangaroo
is interrupted by three sounds of sonic blasts being fired.
Ra Moon strikes Riot with its The Eye attack.
Riot's forcefield withstands the attack.
Ra Moon strikes Shining Firefly with its The Eye attack.
Shining Firefly is temporarily disoriented by Ra Moon's The
Eye attack.
Blues steps from Secluded Cabin.
Blues has arrived.
Blues changes into his Prometheus armor.
The Stingray of Justice finds his head in a wall. Ouch that
hurt. Jet brushes it off and just digs his beret out from the hole and puts it
back on. "You know WHAT, Omnidroid? Like I did for your friend, I need to
prove to you what style is about. It's not about claiming you have it all. I
might have some style, but there are room for others, room to improve myself.
After all, the pursuit of the fairer gender should always be an evolving art.
Like painting, like poetry." Jet is speaking to destract from the fact
that he is getting ready for an attack.
"Now,
time to see how we fight. Not as a 'Mack Daddy' but as a Bad *** Mother ****er
Marine!" With that, Jet charges right for Hyper Storm, trying to slam into
him with all of his Stingray speed. Looks like Jet is raising the bar up a
notch.
Jet Stingray misses Hyper Storm H with his Torpedo Slam
attack.
[Radio: (A) RF-Chat] Storm Owl transmits, "Worry about
lives first, Captain."
[Radio: (A) RF-Chat] Shining Firefly transmits, "I..
this is bad... I cannot move."
The whistle.
Then the
flash of energy appears right next to Ra Moon. There's one thing notably
different about the arrival this time however. It's not the normal form for
Protoman. It's a distinctly different armor for the rogue Hunter. And while he
may have a new armor it doesn't show that he's happy about it. In fact he's
grimacing as he stares at the person not more than three feet from where he is.
Ra Moon. With
both hands turned into busters, Blues is glaring right at the form of Ra Moon
though hasn't said anything yet. He raises the left hand buster toward Ra Moon,
hesitation easily apparent in his face and movement as he points it right
toward Ra's face.
But the
hesitation disappears as Blues lifts his right hand's buster up toward Ra Moon
a half second later. Ra could have probably easily shot him by now, but for
whatever reason Blues seems to be taking the second or two of surprise of his
arrival to think. To hesitate.
That
hesitation disappears quickly though. As Protoman turns from Ra Moon and aims
his busters at the Reactor Core right next to him, and unleashes the full fury
of both of his newly improved Dual Protobusters right into the core.
The monofilament retracts as Barrage falls, and Prismatic kneels
down over Barrage's head, laying a hand gently upon it. "I'm sorry,
Barrage. Maybe in some future life, you'll learn to forgive."
And then he
recieves a signal, and looks up, in surprise. The fight still rages. With a
shout, Prismatic runs away from the fallen Barrage at top speed, heading for
the commissary.
<REPLISPINNY!>
A short
time later, Prismatic bursts into the commissary, arms outstretched at
Cryogenic Man. "LEAVE HIM BE, CRYOGENIC MAN, OR YOU'LL ANSWER TO ME!"
He has no
idea that hell is about to break loose in Engineering. Literally.
"You know nothin'!" Hyper Storm H counters with
all that big talk about True Style and such, standing his ground as much as one
can with the rapidly tilting Fortress V. He moves a bit closer towards Mega
Water S. He's gonna blow this joint. He's had his fill. But then Jet Stingray
charges at him with all of his Stingray speed! That's one word higher than the
standard speed!
Just as Jet
Stingray would make contact, with a little whirl, Hyper Storm H makes use of
his uncanny agility for his ball shape and palms at the back of Jet Stingray
with plenty of force himself. He plans to use Jet Stingray to help carve an
exit through the side of the ship.

The kangaroo stares on at the schizophrenic, the human one
leaping onto the bull in order to block the hole the marsupial made in the
torso. And then three sonic bursts come out, which the kangaroo dodges by
running to the side. And then? He looks toward Bolero.
"This
won't be the end of me. If I ever see you again, I'll continue the fight. But
I'm afraid I'm going to have to make my exit. Hasta luego."
And then the
kangaroo dashes out through the brig doors, toward the elevators. If he makes
it there, he's going to take the turbolift down to the docking bay, as
instructed. That is, if the turbolift even works anymore.
[Radio: (D) Joint-Chat] Cinnamon transmits, "Wh--"
Assault Kangaroo retreats from the area swiftly, leaving him
open to pursuit or parting shots from Jet Stingray, Storm Owl, Singularity
Shrike, and Shining Firefly.
[Radio: (D) Joint-Chat] Cinnamon transmits, "Protoman?
Hey --"
Ra Moon lowers its hand, watching Blues. It does not attack,
instead staring the Protoman down. When he destroys the reactor, the Destroyer
glides forward, laying a hand on the Hunter's shoulder.
"Yes.
Your anger gives you power. See how Earth's mightiest army falls before you.
You have passed my test, child of Mars, and now you will have everything you
desire."
The
starspawn then disappears, and along with it the bodies -- conscious or
unconscious -- of its allies.
[Radio: (D) Joint-Chat] Rock transmits, "There's no
hope, Cinnamon, he's made his decision..."
[Radio: (D) Joint-Chat] Cinnamon transmits, "What
decision? What's going on?"
[Radio: (D) Joint-Chat] Prismatic Spider transmits,
"What?"
[Radio: (D) Joint-Chat] Axl transmits, "What
happened?"
[Radio: (D) Joint-Chat] Rock transmits, "Blues has
joined Ra Moon."
Just to drive
the point home, Blues doesn't teleport by his own systems, he's engulfed in the
same teleport that Ra Moon uses.

"What? NO!"
[Radio: (D) Joint-Chat] Cinnamon transmits, "--that's..."
[Radio: (D) Joint-Chat] Axl transmits, "-- What?!"

..."
As Prismatic Spider bursts into the room with Cryogenic Man,
he hooded figure shakes his head. The figure looks beaten up a fairly decent
amount, to the point where the hood is about to fall off, and most of the parka
is torn and manipulated terribly.
"I
would love to chap, but you see, me and him were about to have a cup 'o tea
here and discuss how Ra Moon's going to finish you all off, leaving the Robot
Gentlemen to an myself o'course to frolic free on a new Mars. If not Mars
itself!" The gentleman seems ecstatic about the happens as of late, and
gives a bow towards Prismatic Spider.
The room
pulses with frost.
Cryogenic
Man is then gone.
[Radio: (D) Joint-Chat] Shining Firefly transmits, "Now
is not the time to discuss this."
[Radio: (E) Joint-Secure] Storm Owl transmits, eerily calm,
"Impact in 30 seconds."
[Radio: (D) Joint-Chat] Shining Firefly can move now and
starts rebuilding the anti-grav
[Radio: (D) Joint-Chat] Rock sounds remarkably composed.
"There's nothing left to do but stop him. It's a dark day."
[Radio: (D) Joint-Chat] Axl transmits, "Mph ..."
[Radio: (D) Joint-Chat] Cinnamon transmits, "But -- but
why?"
[Radio: (D) Joint-Chat] Axl desynches.
[Radio: (D) Joint-Chat] Zero transmits, "Don't worry. I
am going to kill him. It'll be kinder that way."
[Radio: (E) Joint-Secure] Storm Owl transmits, "If you
are not off the ship at this point... hold on very tightly, friends."
Blue Mirage enters the British Columbia.
Blue Mirage has left.
[Radio: (E) Joint-Secure] Rock transmits, "Godspeed,
Storm. I know you can do it."
[Radio: (A) RF-Chat] Infantry Corps Captain Assault Kangaroo
transmits, "...Going down..."

transmits, "I hope to God I can salvage it all."
Jet Stingray gets rammed into making a hole in the side of
the ship as planned. Jet clings to the side of the ship to avoid falling to
toward the ground. He pulls himself up slowly taking a few deep breaths as he
does. Why would Jet do that? Stay on the ship when it has only 30 seconds to
stay airborn? He has his reasons.
Ignoring
the random bling and nice stuff around his ravaged room, Jet heads toward his
goal. The three Squad members that were defeated. Dead or just defeated, it
doesn't matter to Jet. If Hyper Storm is still here, it doesn't matter to Jet.
There is a reason why Jet commands so much respect from his fellow Marines...
Because they know while they would march to the Gates of Hell for Jet, he would
storm right in. (Of course, the fire resistance would make that an easier
choice for Jet)
Getting the
trio, he races for hole he made, clearly not wanting his damaged peers to be
thrown about the ship when it crashes. The Stingray of Justice is NOT happy
about current events, that much is for sure.
Sadly, Bolero doesn't get a chance to laugh or gloat at
Assault Kangaroo's retreat. He and Wreck Brahma are consumed in darkness,
teleported out by Ra Moon's dark, dark powers.
Prismatic Spider lowers his hands as Cryogenic vanishes, and
he blinks in confusion. "New Mars? Oh, hell."
And then
he's thrown to the floor by a sudden powerful lurch. Pushing himself up
painfully, he sees the fallen form of Sing, and with a clicking noise, the
Gravity Hooks are engaged, allowing Prismatic to pull himself up towards Sing
and grab onto him with some of his extra hands.
Storm Owl
calls the results. They're out of time, and out of power. Pulling the smashed
Sing close, Prismatic activates his forcefield and lets go, bouncing into a
corner and tucking into a crash position. This is about to really, really suck.

Hyper Storm H scoops up Mega Water S when the problem of Jet
Stingray is temporarily dealt with. "Feh, I'm blowin' this joint!"
Hyper Storm H snorts as loud as he can. How else does he communicate? With
CLASS? Don't be ridiculous. "You ain't nobody! You show yer face 'round
me, I'll scramble it sunny side up! Stay way from my ladies!"
The ship's
about to crash. Time to make a run for it! Heading out the hole he made with
the help of Jet Stingray, with his brother in tow, he makes a leap of faith straight
on out of the Fortress V.
Hyper Storm H retreats from the area swiftly, leaving him
open to pursuit or parting shots from Jet Stingray, Zero, Storm Owl, Blues,
Barrage Raptor, Bolero, Ra Moon, Assault Kangaroo, Cryogenic Man, Shield
Shellfish, Mega Water S, Singularity Shrike, Riot, Shining Firefly, Prismatic
Spider, Kirin Mathers, Ballade, Hi-Max, Repliforce Ride Armor <Raiden>,
and RF Combat Squad <Suicide Stingrays>.
Bolero retreats from the area swiftly, leaving him open to
pursuit or parting shots from Jet Stingray, Zero, Storm Owl, Blues, Ra Moon,
Assault Kangaroo, Cryogenic Man, Shield Shellfish, Mega Water S, Singularity
Shrike, Riot, Shining Firefly, Prismatic Spider, Kirin Mathers, Ballade,
Hi-Max, and Repliforce Ride Armor <Raiden>.
Shining Firefly works quickly with the pieces he has until
suddenly his body siezes up. The shell opens up a little on its own and soon
Blues appears. Well, he thinks it is Blues, the boy looks different, and
looking different does not mean good things today.
There is a flash and then he can move.
Blinking out of the shell, he quickly gathers the remaining pieces and solders
them together with the help of his drones. This takes ten seconds. It is
sloppy, there is not time for fine callibrations, but he manages to put it
together and his drones set special power hook-ups given that the generator and
lots of things are shot to hell.
He quickly
says over the allied radio, "Whoever can blink and are willing to give of
themselves to try and save the ship, come to engineering now."
Turning to
Riot he hands a cable and says, "Please attach this to your power
core." He does the same himself, "It will drain us and knock us out,
but won't kill us. Hopefully we can put enough power in to soften the landing,
but only if you are willing."
"YOU DON'T HAVE ANY LADIES I'D WANT YOU, PROTOMANING
PIECE OF PROTOMAN!" Jet exclaims to the fleeing Hyper Storm. Piece of
Protoman? Well, until Blues redeems himself, Protoman is the new word to sub
for any of your common curse words. At least to Jet.
Something wicked this way comes, to badly mangle a play by
Shakespeare. All Riot knows is the fear and utter dread that took hold of every
system in his body. He isn't even sure he sees Protoman destroy the reactor...
-for- Ra Moon. But when they both leave, Riiot manages to shake himself free of
whatever had a hold of him. "Wha..." he sees the smoldering hole in
the reactor. "Oh... this'll ruin my day." He blinks as Shinning hands
him a power cable "I wha--" he ulps. "... Fine. I hope you guys
appreciate this." he pops open his chest plate and attaches the cable to
his power core.
As the Kangaroo finds that the turbolift, to his relief,
still works, he waits for the lift to carry him down. Down, to the docking bay.
And when it finally opens? The marsupial /dashes/ out, and covers quite a
distance before diving for cover. He just hopes the entire ship doesn't
disintegrate, because that would mean the end of his fourteen-year life. And
the end of everyone else's, too. He hopes it doesn't come down to that.
The Fortress V was not meant for this type of maneuver. Its
speed increases as armour rips from its hull. Chunks of debris hit Giga City,
crushing cars and slaming into buildings. But finally the ship passes beyond
Giga City and towards the Lagrano Ruins, where anything further destroyed is no
big loss. Storm Owl struggles to keep hold of the table that's keeping him up.
The screens are going haywire, and the crew is shouting to be heard over the
loud rushing of air through one of the many breaches in the ship.
Boom! There
is a sudden explosion from deep within the Fortress V as Protoman shoots the
core. It shatters. It is the overloading of other systems elsewhere that is the
problem. Every anti-grav has been completely destroyed, and a brilliant
fireball erupts from the vessel, nearly a third of the size of the speeding
Fortress V itself. Boom! Boom! Boom! Additional explosions, smaller than the
first, erupt along the ship's spine, breaking the Fortress V's back. Several
thrusters, still operating under either luck or Shining Firefly's brilliance,
struggle to control the descent. Shining's own strength, as well as Riot's,
manage to power the generator and partially level the ship. "Thrusters...
responding... I don't know what's powering them... almost got it le-"
someone shouts over the noise.
The bottom of
the Fortress V grazes one of the ruin's building tops, crushing it as it slams
past. The ship continues to sink until finally its bottom skids along the ground
and asphant. The mile-long and a third-mile wide vessel slams into building
after building in the ruins, crushing them all beneath its bulk. Any homeless
mechs still living here are summarily run over. For nearly a minute the ship
skids, as only friction can stop it now. Finally, with a lurch, the ship hits
zero kilometres per hour. A wide 1/3 trail of destruction in the Lagrano Ruins
is in its wake. But beyond this... a perfect three point landing.

Kangaroo... nnngh... ...
Shining Firefly passes out on impact as he has drained his
energy supply, and as he hits the ground, so does the ship. It has been a long
day for the old Firefly, and he is about to take a nice long rest. He was
lucky. His injuries were minimal this time around. He was scorched a little and
tossed around some, but noting serious. He just needs time to recharge.
Riot tries to brace himself for the coming drain of energy,
but it's no use. His head jolts back as he allows as much energy as he can
without risking his life, he locks up like a mannequin as if being
electrocuted.
Then promptly
tips forward and hits the deck plates face first. He resolves to avoid doing
that again if at all possible, just before sweet merciful unconsciousness takes
him over.
Yep. All hell breaks loose. It's typical. Prismatic, holding
Sing, bounces and rebounds off of walls and debris, smashing across the
commissary with a shout. The second longest 90 seconds of Prismatic's life pass
in agonizing, plodding speed as a refrigeration unit falls, bouncing off of the
shield and cracking the solid energy shell.
Time
passes, and eventually Prismatic senses that the ship is stopped. However, he's

Behind a tiny counter-like protrusion from the floor,
Assault Kangaroo remained in cover, all the way through the Fortress V's
disgraceful crash into the Lagrano Ruins area. He remains in his position until
he feels that the shaking has ended, that the ship has stopped moving, and that
the crash has ended. And then? After five seconds? He simply rolls himself
over, staring up at the ceiling, as he brings his arms at this sides. And then,
after a minute? He halfway shuts his eyes... What could he possibly be feeling?
Is he... seeing things?... The image of Jinho?... How could it be?... He can't
be dying! He survived the crash! He wonders about it all, while laying back and
letting time pass by.

Jet Stingray merely lands and puts down the fallen Squad
members. He watches the wake of destruction, merely shaking his head. Time to
get some work done. With that, he starts doing distaster relief and starting to
call up Repliforcers from various outposts to send medical aid ASAP.

After what seems like too long, Storm Owl's optics open
again. On his hands and knees, he looks around. Other bridge members are
getting back up as well. Several monitors are still flickering on and off, and
someone has the strength to check up on them. "Looks like we still have
internal communications. We're relatively steady." The mech seems
relieved. "I don't know why the thrusters worked at the end but we're all
still here because of it."
Owl gets back
to his feet, still looking around his bridge with a quiet and stoic expression.
"We're going through the ship to see to the wounded. We can get a damage
report. Judging from radio traffic most of the crew survived. This isn't the
first time we've been forced to... land." he adds optimistically. November

Prismatic works on repairing Sing. He went and helped keep
Sing from being ignominously crushed by a fridge, he's not letting the poor guy
go now. May as well start locally.

Assault Kangaroo remains where he is, as the image of Choe
Jinho, the Taekwondo Master who helped perfect the moves the marsupial carried
in his database, lingers before him in his eyes. The voices of his comrades
still come through his radio, with Kangaroo responding to them in kind, until,
at last, the visage speaks. Only the marsupial can hear any of it or see him.
"Master
Kangaroo... The words of your comrades ring true. You have survived. Battling
two on one is challenging, particularly when one is especially enduring. You
have done well, Master Kangaroo... I salute your efforts. Do not be fooled by
your retreat. What you did was exceptionally brave. In fact, you are even
braver than I ever was in my prime. Farewell, my son... May the force be with
you, always..."
The image
vanishes at last. The kangaroo, in spite of his current state... smiles. And
his head lays on its side, eyes remaining open while he waits for medical
assistance to arrive at his location.
Singularity Shrike stirs as Prism goes to work. His optics
open, and look around a bit before settling on the Soldier Scientist.
"...sir?"
Cryogenic Man has disconnected.

Prismatic Spider straightens, his multitool hissing back
into his arm. "Heya Sing. Congratulations, you're alive." He grins.
"Told you I was going to get you out of this. However, there isn't as much
to be said for the F5." He sighs. "In the meantime, however, you're
going to need some quality repair time. Hopefully, the medbay still
works." He flips out a pair of grav-stretcher rods, and activates them,
gently lifting Sing up into the air so he can get the soldier to the medbay.

who's doing all the grunting and groaning, and then says, "Are you
alright, Captain?"

his eyes.
