Rocky Beach

Encircling this island is a narrow strip of coarse golden sand and pebbles, interspaced with the occasional patch of black sand that indicates volcanic origins. Still adrift in the surrounding waters are thick, twisted coils of sickly green seaweed, bearing an uncanny resemblance to the tentacles of some massive, deformed beast. Towering high above the mixed sand and pebbles of the beach are dark, forboding cliffs of rough black basalt, about as inviting as prison walls and showing about as much of the island's interior.

Scavenger(#2008 PiVeACNF)

Skeleton of Stunticon Warship.

Sensor2

Obvious exits:

Ocean <O> leads to South Pacific - Indonesia/Australian Coast.

Cliff <C> leads to Lost City.

Scrapper folds into himself, shifting into a lime green payloader. Oh, and he can fly in this mode via a giant purple wing that attaches to his form when needed. Cough. What?

Vulcan arrives from the top of the cliff.

Vulcan has arrived.

Scavenger is not visible at first, but after a few moments there is a loud explosion sound, and smoke comes wafting up from inside the ship's hull.

Vulcan floats down towards the ship, wings arcing to parachute the mech down just as the explosion occurs. He blinks at this, eyeing the smokey interior, before moving towards the entrance "I say there. Are you all right?"

Payloader <Scrapper> drives into the area. A bunch of odd tech-tools are laying on his seat. Being a Decepticon, he doesn't have much use for his driver's seat aside from carrying stuff around. "What in the blazes?" he mutters as he hears the explosion. Scrapper heads in the direction where it came from.

Scavenger peaks his head out from a hatch in the top deck. "I'm fine. Just doing some spot checks. Making sure the hull will hold up to standard human munitions inside and out." he calls back, and then, dissapears back into the ship.

Vulcan blinks at the reply, then nods "Oh, well that makes sense I suppose... do you wish my assistance with any of the... testing?"

Payloader <Scrapper> reaches the Stuntiship and transforms, magically grabbing the tools that was on his seat as he does so. It's just one of those things Transformers seem to be really good at. The Constructicon looks the ship over and folds his arms, for now just standing a short ways behind Vulcan.

The lime green payloader folds up into the Constructicon known as Scrapper.

Scavenger sticks his head out from the underhull hatch... how did he get down there? "Sure. I'm running the wiring now to the command deck." he replies, an observant person will note there is no command deck. He closes the hatch and another explosion is heard. Moments later two massive doors open on the top of the ship and an elevator system rises up with Scavenger on it. "How much can you carry when you fly, Vulcan?" he asks.

Vulcan walks over smoothly, and makes a slight face "About two thirds that of an average mech of this size I'm afraid. I was designed to be small and fast rather than strong." he flies up with a single bound to land beside the elevator.

Scrapper glances up to where he thinks the command deck would be, but does notice that it doesn't seem to be there. "Ahem." he says slowly, stepping forward, "How much longer will this project take, Scavenger? I am going to need your help with the Cyberforming once you are finished."

Scavenger looks around and notes. "Our first priority is to add smoke machines for this elevator so it's all cool when something comes up..." he says, then blinks. "Oh, right. Umm, should be done.. sometime.. soonish?" he suggests to Scrapper, he isn't one to work on a schedule. "I need Hook to get down here again to hoist the modular pieces up on deck. The command decks, the turrents, the weapons sytems, etc." he explains, then looks to Vulcan. "Well, we've finished the big work, now we're working on all the innards and the weapons systems. I hope you don't take offence but I don't know how much help you can be with that."

Vulcan smiles a bit "Well, carrying small parts and welding and attachment I can do, so long as I'm told where everything goes of course." he flips his wings "Or simply ensuring nothing gets tangled."

Scrapper grunts and mutters something about how, if Hook is involved, the project'll probably take years. "If Hook isn't available then see if Soundwave isn't too busy. I don't want to have to wait all year." He smirks at the little shot at Vulcan's technical intelligence. He nods at Vulcan's eagerness to help out.

Good lesson Vulcan knows: Keep the medics and techs happy, espcecially if you may need their assistance in keeping on your feet.

Scavenger nods towards Scrapper. "Will do. Heck, Long Haul could probably help out in robot mode. We just need to get the stuff up here. If I can't get a Decepticon to help us I'll have to build a crane. That could take almost an hour or two."

Vulcan folds his arms, waiting patiently for orders.

Scavenger wasn't making a joke, he honestly doesn't know what Vulcan can do.

Scavenger looks to Vulcan. "Well, I don't really have any welding work to do. If you don't mind though, there is something you could do." he says, and kicks in his thrusters heading down back to the sand.

Scrapper folds his arms and nods to his brother. "Very well. Let me know if you need any help." He grumbles this, hoping that Scavenger doesn't have anything for him. He'd rather start marking out the territory for the needed trenches. "At some point I need to talk to you about a few other projects, however."

Vulcan nods and hops off after Scavenger, floating on his wings rather than using his antigravs to follow "Of course.

Scavenger moves down towards the side of the ship, carrying a pair of contraptions that look like guns. "Remember my son, wax on, wax off, paint on. Up, down, up down." he hands the spraypaint guns to Vulcan. "Grey on this part, leave the nose for later."

Vulcan takes the guns and eyes them, the nnods "Gotcha... but... wax?" he inquires, not getting the joke.

Scavenger handwaves this. "I've been tuning in to too many human frequencies lately." he explains, and hops back into the air. "I appreciate the help." he calls back as he moves back to Scrapper.

Scrapper is just about to turn and head out to start marking out where the trenches will be, unless Scavenger has something he needs to do, or has time to discuss the location of where they're going to be dug. Afterall, Scav'll have to do the actual work there.

Vulcan ahs and nods "I see. I will have to watch some sometime." he starts to adjust the gun to the proper setting. "Here we go..."

Scavenger settles down next to Scrapper. "Actually, I wanted to go over the defence plans for the island." he states. "I have... ideas."

Scrapper pauses and looks at Scavenger right in the optics, trying to stare him down. "Do you, now?" he says slowly, pondering just how much he's willing to deviate from his artistic vision. "Go on and share them." he says in a very slightly sarcastic manner. If it's a good idea then he'll consider it, though.

Scavenger leads Scrapper back into the ship's innards, down a hatch and into one of the many rooms inside. A large meeting room. He spreads out a map of the island on it.

Scavenger says, "What are your plans for the island's defence? I don't want to be a bother if you've already thought of what I have.""

Scrapper snorts, apparently annoyed. In truth he's glad to be able to show off his handy dandy blueprints of the island that he's been showing off to everyone and their sister. Reaching into his tool kit, he removes a rolled up piece of paper and unfolds it, using the side of the hull of the Stuntiship as a flat surface. The blueprints are quite large, extensive, well done, and unique. Certainly something to be proud of. That website gives you a nice overview of the city, though.

Scavenger nods as he looks this over. "I was thinking of something a little farther out there." he says, "It wouldn't effect your design at all, I don't think there is any room to improve on your design. My idea is just.. another outer layer for the defence." he says.

"The seas at first, as well as the skies." he explains. "The autobots are rather lacking in airial forces. Any invasion would involve either an arial transport of amphibious units." Scavenger explains.

Scrapper considers it for a moment and nods, "An advanced warning system out to sea would be a rather nice thing to have..." he admits reluctantly, "As well as defences to slow them down... Clearly getting the city operational is our first priority, but this would also be rather useful..."

Scavenger nods. "I have been studying the fleshlings mythology, and I have had a few ideas for defence systems." he smiles "I was thinking of large electromagnets on the sea floor. They could litterally pull a battleship or transport right under the water and to them. Each magnetized ring will be surrounded by large appendages (read tentacles) that will rip apart anything captured and put it in the center of the ring where it will be disposed of with plasma cutting beams." he then adds proudly, "I call this system, the Kraken."

Scrapper eyes Scavenger for a few moments and grunts, "It's certainly an ambitious idea." he allows. "Draw up some plans for it and I'll look them over. Once you are finished with the Stuntiship, of course. If they're acceptable then _you_ can build this defence system." And ask Airwolf OOCly if she's willing to go along with a defence idea like this :-)

Scavenger nods. "And the Harpy system will be most appropriate for airborn threats. It will take quite a while to create these drones, but they are small (small to bots, about person sized) drones with a single pulse jet engine. (Circa V1 bombs but much more powerful) They will be equipped with similar cutting beams. They will fly to any enemy airship, latch on, and begin cutting away. Shooting them off will be niegh impossible as they will be attached to the hull so any hull mounted weapons will be useless unless they are on turrents."

Scrapper waves his hand dismissively, "Drones are very rarely cost-effective. That's why we haven't bothered building them in the past." Aside from when Fulcrum found all those handy nearby dead Sharkticon bodies. "Feel free to talk to Galvatron about it, but I'm sure he'll shoot down this idea." He grins wickedly. That particular choice of words was completely on purpose. "Remember that if this island is attacked, hopefully there will be /Decepticons/ present to help with the defence systems."

Scavenger nods to this. "I see. I'll draw up plans for the Kraken once the ship is completed."

Scrapper nods to Scavenger. "Very well. But before you do any serious work on this, I'm going to need an extensive trench system created throughout the entire island."

Scavenger smiles to scrapper. "I'd be more then happy to do so, boss. Just let me know what you need carved up." he replies.
