Rocky Beach
Encircling this
island is a narrow strip of coarse golden sand and pebbles, interspaced with
the occasional patch of black sand that indicates volcanic origins. Still
adrift in the surrounding waters are thick, twisted coils of sickly green
seaweed, bearing an uncanny resemblance to the tentacles of some massive,
deformed beast. Towering high above the mixed sand and pebbles of the beach are
dark, forboding cliffs of rough black basalt, about as inviting as prison walls
and showing about as much of the island's interior.

Bonecrusher has arrived.
<Decepticon> Scrapper says, "Decepticons! Report to the coastline for immediate
launch. We have run out of materials for the Cyberforming, and I will NOT have
this project be delayed any further!"
Reflector arrives from the top of the cliff.
Reflector has arrived.
Ramjet arrives from the top of the cliff.
Ramjet has arrived.
Scrapper is standing by the beach, near Scavenger's
Stuntiship project. My, it's almost done. Good, then the salvager will be able
to get to work digging the huge number of trenches that will be required for
the transformation sequence of New Crystal City. His optical band is thin as he
paces back and forth. "Blasted waste of time this is..." he's heard
to be muttering. But hey, Scrapper can't argue with the fact that the
Constructs /are/ the best Gestalt in the Empire, so it stands to reason they
should be brought out for this.
Ramjet walks to the clifftop and looks down on the scene
below. As usual he is frowning...he recognises Scrapper of course right away,
one finger tracing the criss cross of scars on his face.
Hardshell walks down the road until he arrives near the
other Decepticons. As usual the Aquacon's face is totally emotionless, he
doesn't even give a look at the warship as he stops near Scrapper. Hardshell
crosses his arms on his chest and waits for more instructions.
A trio of
Robots hover into the area. They are zoom zoom zooming into the area at the
speedy of a flying... Payloader... yea... Flec is truely that slow! The Tricon lands
near where Scrapper is currently situated, "Ho hum." Flec grunts out,
"What exactly have -I- been called out here for?"
You paged Recoil with 'Texas. The sight of the first
Devastator asskicking. How's that sound?'.
Having heard the call from above the cliffs, where he was
once clearing rock and earth for the cyberforming process, Long Haul launches
over the cliff, achieving speeds that were never meant for his dump truck form.
Talk about motivation. Eagerly anticipating yet another chance to prove his
worth, he transforms in mid air and falls like a brick. Landing heavily and
without anything resembling grace, the trusty supply runner makes for his
commander's side. "Ready and waiting, Scrapper. What are your orders?"
he says. Long Haul almost sounds...happy.
Pieces of the dump truck begin to fracture! The bucket
splits in two, forming blocky legs, while the wheels break away, revealing
purple arms. The metal condenses and Long Haul is left in robot form.
Scrapper jabs a finger in Reflector in his direction and
says, "YOU are here to finally be /useful/ for a change! Now no more
backtalk." He stops his pacing and glances at the assembled Decepticons.
"Pathetic." He sighs and shakes his head at the turnout. Still, his
brothers are here. He nods at Long Haul. Good, finally the little twerp seems
to be focused on something. Perhaps he's actually finally anxious about getting
this project really moving. "We're going to be attacking Cairo. Our aim is
to steal energon and metals. YOU idiots will steal stuff while Devastator
removes all opposition. Should there be too many of them," Scrapper
smiles, as that ain't likely. "Then you will assist." Scrapper CANNOT
believe he's going to do what he's just about to, but his choices are
limited... "Reflector, while we are merged, YOU are to issue the orders if
need be." Ow, that hurt more than I thought it would.
"Questions?!"
Ramjet grimaces as the commander imediately starts to insult
those who bothered to turn up. his scars contort further but he remains silent
and just watches the 'briefing'
Reflector's
component robots smack their foreheads at what Scrapper says, "Oh you've
got to be kidding me..." The recon mechs mutter, "I'm not a soldier,
so I should not be commanding soldiers! I should be commanding advanced
reconaissance units!" The three robots protest in one, echoey voice,
"And why Cairo? That is soooooo far away! Why not some place closer?"
Hardshell looks down at Scrapper and then at Reflector, him
a great warrior taking order from Reflector? Him grabbing some supplies like a
thief while others are fighting? Hardshell doesn't like this mission at all but
he decides to shut up and wait.
Scrapper eyes Reflector and snorts. "You sure as the
Pitt don't think I'm going to let any of these other brain-circuitry deficient
morons take command, do you?" He gestures at Hardshell and Ramjet.
"And as for why Cairo, because the metals we can get there is perfectly
suited for the Cyberforming. It's too /complicated/ for your minds to
comprehend. Any other questions?" He idly rests his hand on his gun.
Ramjet shouts down, "yeah."
Scrapper looks towards Ramjet and sighs. "What is it,
Thrust?"
Long Haul nods immediately, assuring his commander and
brother that he has the instructions. Though he requires no oxygen, he breathes
deeply and then releases the air, hoping to release any of his fears now.
"This assault will be a success, I will not fail this time!" Long
Haul reassures himself, mentally preparing for the battle to come. Those signs
of anticipation are soon disguised by an emotionless visage. However, a certain
spark in the Constructicon's optics remains.
Ramjet jumps off the cliff, dropping to land with a heavy
thump right infront of Scrapper. "How do I get out of this avian-smelt
outfit?" he looks scrapper square in the optics. "My names
Ramjet...what do i have to do? have it etched down the side of my
fuselage?"
The Cameracons
just shake their heads in unison as they begin to hover up into the air,
"Bah. I object to this mission. But... whatever. You are the ranking
officer. Maybe I'll have a chance to get some scans of defense structures or
whatnot while in Cairo." Flec becoming optimistic? Naaaah. The Cameracons
grumble out, "Let's go eh? Sooner we get this done, the better. Last raid
I was in... ended rather unfun-like."
Scrapper looks up directly at Ramjet - who's way taller than
he is - and snorts. My my, Scrapper sure is overconfident, isn't he? There's a
reason for that. "Ramjet? I thought you were the red one." He shrugs
and says, "If there's no _other_ questions..." he fails to answer
Ramjet, "Then lets get moving. Time's wasting!" Scrapper alters into
his payloader and starts to hover.
Scrapper folds into himself, shifting into a lime green payloader.
Oh, and he can fly in this mode via a giant purple wing that attaches to his
form when needed. Cough. What?
Ramjet folds his arms over his chestpit and watches scrapper
hover away. "Yeah. Thats what I thought."
The Trio of
Cameracons take to the air, each one raising their arms over their heads. Super
Decepticon takes to the air. Up up and away! Err yea... Flec follows behind ol'
Scraphead.
Long Haul seems oblivious to the other Decepticons and their
mistreatment at the hands of his brother. Though he stands at Scrapper's side,
he does not support the other Constructicon's snide remarks by mocking the
Decepticons with his laughter. In fact, the supply runner is in a trance,
focusing on his own struggles so he will not be the target of Scrapper's malice
later on...so he may still have a chance of being his equal. With the order to
move out, Long Haul snaps to it and leaps into the air, his boot thrusters
handling the rest of his journey to Cairo.
Ramjet looks around distastefully at the sand. "The
sooner this stuff is gotten rid of the better." He watches the others fly
off thru narrow optics and after a few moments further thought, jumps to the
air.
Long Haul begins following you.
Reflector begins following you.
*** TRAVEL SPAM ***
Cairo
There are visible
signs of improvement in the once-destroyed city of Cairo. Many of the outlying,
burnt-out buildings have been cleared, as well as the blackened, twisted metal
that made travel so hazardous. The countless dead have been recovered and given
proper burial. Near the spaceport, a vast tent city has been erected by the
Autobots and the Red Cross, equipped with badly-needed food, supplies, and
equipment. The massive skyscrapers of the downtown area still lie in ruins,
huge, ragged chunks of concrete and twisted girders piled high, but much of the
debris has been moved out of the way in the search for both the dead and any
survivors. Oddly enough, the spaceport outside of the city and the massive
Arcology still stand, untouched.

You transmit a message to Ramjet: Affirmative.
Payloader <Scrapper> flies into the area, leaving a
huge plume of black smoke trailing behind him. The lime green Constructicon is
a huge flying environmental disaster. Amazingly, Scrapper doesn't seem to mind
the damage to the planet. Eventually, the Decepticons come up to a large good
ol' fashioned power plant. Plenty of energon to be stolen, and plenty of metal
to be nabbed. Obviously why Scrapper picked it. Regardless, Scrapper transforms
and lands on the ground, laser pistol already in his hand. "Alright, you
know the drill, Decepticons." He begins firing, just for the sheer effect
of it. "Ramjet, patrol the skies. Let us know if any opposition
approach." Scrapper begins marching towards the plant itself.
The lime green payloader folds up into the Constructicon
known as Scrapper.
Hardshell flies in, following the constructicons. The
Decepticon warrior takes a good look at the surrounding area. A desert, they
brought a Aquacon to fight in a desert... Finally they arrives to their
destination and Hardshell lands near the power plant.
The Trio of
Reconbots have hovered here, following behind Scrapper. When the Constructicon
CO has landed, so does the Tricon. Reflector lands on the ground and narrows
each set of optics, "Wonderful... uhhh... Ok... Everyone. Start.. umm
raiding?" Scraps put him in charge... suppose Flec is trying to sound ...
military-like. All three components pull out their weapons.
Flying behind Scrapper, narrowly missing the trail of
pollution, follows the loyal Long Haul. He is as well suited for flight as the
loader, travelling slowly, arms outstretched in front of him. Drawing his laser
pistol, the Constructicon lands alongside his brother. In his mind, he goes
down the checklist, trying to implement what he has learned about strategy.
Yes, survey the area. When Scrapper begins firing to scare away the human
populace, Long Haul says in his head, "Oh ya, I knew that." He
quickly follows suit, discharging his weapon if only to make a ruckus.
Transmission from Ramjet: I'm reading metal deposits and
what look like suply crates inside the top floor of the fortified structure SSE
of your 20. over?
Scrapper smiles as he listens to Ramjet's transmission and
points up to the top floor of the plant. "Long Haul, Ramjet's detected supply
crates full of type 4.23 combination Cybertronium." he grins and shoots
down a fleeing human. "Go up there and secure it. Don't screw it up,
either!" Scrapper pauses and rips through a wall of the heavily fortified
power planet and snorts at Reflector. "Geez, and Revenant bitches at _me_
for being crap in combat situations." he mutters quietly to himself.
"Look alive, men. The Autobots have no doubt been told of what's going on
by the EDC."
Hardshell walks behind Scrapper, he is totally ignoring the
humans since they're not worthy of his attention. The Aquacon listen at
Scrapper and Reflector, then he sighs, "Look like I am the only real
warrior here... Once again I will be the one who will have to save the
day."
Sky Lynx <Shuttle> soars down into view from the skies
above.
Sky Lynx <Shuttle> has arrived.
With Scrapper's commands, Long Haul is suddenly in the spot
light. He swallows hard, trying to hide his fear of failing his superior. If I
foul this up, then it is all over for me! And the Autobots could be here any
moment to stop me! Fear and self-doubt do not hold the Constructicon back; they
drive him quickly forward instead. All is hidden well as Long Haul's features
contort to issue a fierce grunt. It is like a gunshot at the beginning of a race...and
he is off. Engaging his boot thrusters to propel him even faster, the supply
runner brutally charges through the outer wall of the structure.
Sky Lynx <Shuttle> isn't flying so much as 'careening'
and 'careening dangerously'. He rockets through the sky on pluming contrails,
starting as a speck in the sky and ending is an engine's whine. He'll arrive
soon, Autobot cargo and all, but is seen long enough to be pointed at, started
at, and pondered about just what he is.
Moments after the supply runner disappears, there is a loud
crunch sounding from inside the building, the new entrance he created causing
the sound to resonate over the newest battlefield in the Great War. Soon after,
a bolt of hot white energy viciously rips away pieces in the exterior of the
second floor. Long Haul appears again, waving a hand frantically to his
comrades, "I've got it!" He then begins to clear the second floor
walls away to give the others easier access to the precious metals.
Scrapper flicks his hand out to smack Reflector one - I
don't care which, any of the little twerps will do - "We all have to make
sacrafices. If I had a squadron of Seekers here we'd be taking them instead of
you. But the Empire doesn't _have_ a squadron of Seekers here and ready, so get
used to fighting before I get Hardshell to eat your brain!" If Scrapper
had higher leadership he would have come up with a less-idiotic threat.
Leadership = threat making abilities for the Decepticons. Still overconfident,
apparently, Scrapper barges through the wall of the power plant and shouts.
"Fleshling germs! Resist us and you'll turn out like him." the
Constructicon points his laser pistol at one of the humans and shoots him.
Scrapper's down the idea of shooting people who can't fight back. He's a GOOD
Decepticon. He glances out of the hole he made and watches Long Haul freaking
sprint towards the objective. He sighs. Why are all of his brothers complete
idiots?
Upon noticing
Sky Lynx's arrival, Scrapper radios his air cover. "Ramjet..."
Scrapper pauses and makes a Con Brand tactical decision. He strides back
outside and points to an industrial factory near the plant itself.
"Destroy that building. Give the Autobots some fleshling germs to rescue.
That should keep them busy." He smiles behind his black faceplate.
"Let the Autobots hear their pitiful screams."
Reflector's
being a good little trooper. He's firing off blindly in all directions. Weapons
volleys strike and miss various targets of opportunity that Reflector has given
himself. Mass destruction's not hard, even for the Cameracon. Reflector however
fears something may go wrong, just like in the last raid he participated in.
Scrapper's slap meets nothing but air as the Reflector robots take to the air
and begins raining down.. umm.. massive destruction on the area. Yea. Because
Reflector is mighty! His sensor suites have picked up the arrival of Sky Lynx
and he grumbles to himself, "Someone defend me from that!" That's
right.. like a good commander... throw people infront of you to take the brunt
of an attack...
Finally Scrapper took a good tactical decision, which please
Hardshell. /Maybe/ they will not get killed because their commander is totally
incompetent... The Aquacon comes out of the building and looks up on the sky.
"Identification : Autobot Sky Lynx. Possibly carrying an indeterminate
humber of Autobots." He looks down at Scrapper, "We need more
firepower." he simply says.
Silverbolt has arrived.
Silverbolt leaps out of Sky Lynx and transform in jet mode
"Allright everyone, remember where we parked." The autobot jet moves
away from the shuttle and executes a sweep of the area just in case there are
more Decepticons hidden around these parts. Them sneaky bunch of nasty wasty
Cons.
Scattershot has arrived.
Strafe has arrived.
Lightspeed has arrived.
Kup has arrived.
You transmit a message to Ramjet: Ramjet... Destroy that
building. Give the Autobots some fleshling germs to rescue. That should keep
them busy." He smiles behind his black faceplate. "Let the Autobots
hear their pitiful screams.
Strafe runs out of Sky Lynx and transforms in order to close
with the Decepticons as fast as possible and also to give them less chance to
get ready for him.
Bonecrusher has disconnected.
Modified F-15 soars down into view from the skies above.
Modified F-15 has arrived.
Modified F-15 recieves his orders for an air strike...having
been overhead watching fo incoming air cover he's in a pretty good position to
do so and dives, full throttle, on the arcology.
Lightspeed follows in Strafe's tracks, quickly shifting to
vehicle mode as soon as he's clear of the confines of Sky Lynx's shuttle mode.
Lightspeed transforms into his vehicle mode.
Battlecruiser leaves Sky Lynx's protective fold behind
Silverbolt and smarts, "Forget where we parked, remember where THEY
landed!". He banks around and heads towards the Decepticons themselves.
"We'll fight off the Decepticons, you guys take care of those people down
there!", he radios to all the Autobots, indicating the Technobots for
"we". Cause we're cool like that.
Long Haul has disconnected.
Long Haul has connected.
Sky Lynx <Shuttle>'s transformation is quick as the
last Autobot exits, a spring onto forepaws that already has him tracking
Ramjet's course. "The building, Rodimus!" he shouts, bordering
frantic in that effete voice. "I'm sure Scattershot will have things well
in hand in very short order."
Sky Lynx transforms.
"We must protect the humans!" Rodimus is crying
out just as Sky Lynx gives his warning. He had just jumped off the shuttle and
lands on the ground, the moment he does the flaming Autobot leader drops down
and transforms into his RV mode rushing towards the building. His words also
agree with Scattershot's statement. No more words are offered by the leader,
it's very clear where the priorities are for him.
Rodimus drops forward, reconfiguring into a flame-detailed
RV.
Modified F-15 continues to dive on his target, dropping a
spread of clusterbombs on the human structure as his armoured nosecone takes
hits from AA fire.
Kup drops out of the shuttle, transforms and follows after
Rodimus. Vroom-vroooooom!
Kup transforms into some piece of crap truck thingy.
Scattershot shouts, "Technobots, MERGE to form
Computron!"
With a shudder of metal, the Technobots undergo a stunning
transformation and combine into the mighty form of Computron!
Battlecruiser has left.
Techno-Car has left.
Aircar has left.
Computron has arrived.
Trying to be over tactical, Long Haul blows yet another hole
in the building in hopes of creating another escape route. It does not occur to
him that he is concentrating too much on the eventual retreat when he could be
loading the metal. Only when he hears of the Autobots' arrival does the
Constructicon clue in. Once again taken over by his own self-doubt and fear,
Long Haul freezes momentarily. What should I do?! They'll come for me for sure
and then I will never be promoted again! But then, that war face restores
itself and Long Haul fills his storage compartment with what he can, his
subspace portal also receiving some of the materials. When that is done, he
begins tossing creates out of the less obvious exit he made in the second
floor. The supply runner does not stop to think if he is being efficient...he
just moves!
Scrapper sighs as he comes to another patented Decepticon
brand decision. The Decepticons are horribly outnumbered. Plus all the
Technobots seem to be present. Why oh why did he agree to let Mixmaster take
that six week paid vacation to Monacus for booze and chicks?! As the sheer
horde of Autobots arrive, Scrapper idly shoots another human to make himself
feel a little bit better. He watches with satisfaction as Ramjet begins bombing
the industrial factory. Good for him. He can take all the hits, then. Scrapper
marches back into the building and shouts to Long Haul. "New plan. Instead
of taking everything we can carry. Take everything you can grab within ten
seconds."
Modified F-15 pulls up from the smoke and frag exploding
below him, luckily the target is pretty much evacuated since the cons had
arived some time ago.
Hardshell sighs, as he thought this mission is going to be a
disaster. He runs towards the building, enters it and grabs all the scrap metal
he's able to carry.
The Trio of
Reconbots kinda stop firing at random targets as a whole lot of Autobots appear
on his sensors, "Oh for the love of all that is unholy." Reflector's
components mutter in unison, "Uhh.. uhh.. Decepticons under my command...
cover me while I fly very high into the air!" All the Reflector components
lift up higher into the air, weapons still out. However Flec seems pretty much
interested in running high into the air.
Modified F-15 ignoresreflector and starts to bank around for
a second run, wings waving as he pops smoke and chaff, evading more AA fire
from the humans
Concorde Jet goes in hot pursuit of Ramjet firing some
warning shots hoping to drive him away from the arcology and letting the others
rescue the humans without worrying about more bombs and stuff. "It has
been a while since I have met a seeker in the air. Usually when the aerialbots
are in the skies, the seekers choose to walk." The Concorde fires another
disruptor blast 15' in front of Ramjet's nose to motivate him into surrendering
or fleeing.

Rod is letting the others handle the fighting, in his
mechanical mind there's only one thought going on right now, 'Protect the
humans'. He rushes towards the building and his sensors tell him of
Silverbolt's actions. "We need to try and get as many as we can out of
this area," the leader observes towards Kup and whoever else had decided
to follow him into the saving humans quest. "Sky Lynx, if you are
available, we can use you down here," he transmits. The Autobot leader
transforms and quickly reaches towards two humans that were about to be smashed
down by some falling debris, using his body to attempt to provide cover.
Amidst the familiar ratcheting sound, the Flaming RV rises
into Rodimus Prime.
Long Haul has disconnected.
Sky Lynx's faith in Scattershot is redoubled with Computron,
already bounding towards endangered innocents before their merge is complete.
"Right away, Rodimus! There will never be need for doubt or worry!"
he says. A body too big shields them from fire and debris, claws too large
scrape away pinning wreckage, teeth too wide find a delicate touch when lifting
a battered human away from harm. Seeing attacks, he'll buffet them away and
endure the ones meant for friends (feel free to attack if you'd like, it's just
an opportunity to be heroic ;) ). Despite it all, he steals looks at Computron
as if ensuring his safety.
Modified F-15 transmits, "Copy that, Everyone off the
ground, here comes the napalm." He twists away from silverbolts baddly
aimed (he assumes...why would someone shoot and aim to miss?) and alters course
to cover the cons retreat, diving in low to drop silver canisters behind them.
Computron is formed as the Technobots link together on
Scattershot's command. The mighty metal giant stands there for agonisngly long
moments before seeming to actually come to live. "Datum: Decepticon forces
pose negligible threat to Computron. Datum: Superior Autobot forces capable of
dealing with minor individuals. Conclusion: Priority is to prevent the theft of
resources by Decepticon forces. Moving to intercept." Like a pair of thick
pistons, Computron's legs stir to life, stomping him toward where the
Decepticons are attempting to pilfer valuable materials.
Scrapper snorts and eyes the onslaught of Autobots. Yes...
Onslaught of Autobots. That'll sound good in the report, Scrapper decides.
Dropping the various bits of crap he had in his hand, Scrapper takes one last
chance to shoot a human - it makes him feel a little better about the situation
- and rushes out of the building. Without aanother word, he transforms into his
payloader mode, letting the purple flight wing attach itself smoothly onto his
top. "Anyone stupid enough to stick around deserves the aftkicking
Computron will give you!" Ahhhh, Decepticon heroics. The payloader blasts
off into the sky, leaving a huge thick trail of disgusting black soot and smoke.
Scrapper does his best to avoid the Autobot heavy hitters. Like Computron. And
Sky Lynx. And Rodimus Prime. And Kup. And Silverbolt.
Scrapper folds into himself, shifting into a lime green
payloader. Oh, and he can fly in this mode via a giant purple wing that attaches
to his form when needed. Cough. What?
Scrapper begins retreating, leaving himself vulnerable to
parting shots from Modified F-15, Old Pickup, Rodimus Prime, Concorde Jet, Sky
Lynx.
Hardshell grabs a pile of scrap metal inside the building
and he heads out, using one of the hole Long Haul made in the wall. HE looks
back at the Autobots, there is too much of them to fight and Hardshell knows
it. HE mutters "This mission is a failure... I knew it." Then he
takeoff and flies aways
Hardshell begins retreating, leaving himself vulnerable to
parting shots from Computron, Modified F-15, Old Pickup, Rodimus Prime,
Concorde Jet, Sky Lynx, Reflector, Payloader <Scrapper>.
Love that
confidence you have Scrapper! Look at it! You're running now! So is reflector!
He got the head start. The trio of Reconmechs goes high into the air. Look it's
Super Decepticon! Faster than a speeding snail! Stronger than a human being! Up
up and away! Reflector is flailing his arms about in the air, trying to
increase his speed, just a bit. He doesn't wanna stick around apparently.
Modified F-15 crosses behind the line of retreat, in his
path, the tumbling silver canisters bounce and scattr across the gound,
spraying thier deadly contents. Moments later, walls of flame and thick black
smoke erupt in his path, engulfung buildings and (hopefully) detering persuit
of the departing construction vehicles.
Reflector begins retreating, leaving themself vulnerable to
parting shots from Modified F-15, Old Pickup, Rodimus Prime, Concorde Jet, Sky
Lynx, Payloader <Scrapper>.
Old Pickup pulls up next to Rodimus and transforms, gun in
hand to fend off any Decepticons who think they're tough guys. "You got
it, Rod," He responds to his former protege, taking off towards the
facility under attack. Along the way, he waves a few panic-stricken humans to
get away from the skirmish when he hears some cries coming from some smoking
debris. He pries it up to find a handful of frightened, yet relatively
unharmed, humans beneath.
Kup transforms into old bastard mode, complete with wrinkles
and obscenities.
Modified F-15 thinks he's a tough guy. he must do. everyone
else is running and there he is, all alone, flying around bombing te hell out
of stuff. Since he stayed behind to cover the retreat he's a bit vulnerable to
getting shot at right now.
Concorde Jet sees Ramjet dropping the 2 canisters "To
all Autobots on the ground, INCOMING BOMB!" The Concorde matches Ramjet's
speed and opens up on the seeker since he passed his chance for surrender.
"You will pay for that Ramjet. No harm is to come to the humans. Your
fight is with US not them." The Aerialbot commander locks on target and
fires his disruptor guns once more hoping to hit the seeker and get his
attention off the humans.
Concorde Jet strikes Ramjet with Dual Disruptor Guns.
Sky Lynx has disconnected.
At the sound of Silverbolt's voice Rodimus is on the move
grabbing the two humans he was protecting and transforming them, getting them
inside in the process. He speeds out. "Kup, watch out!" Rod calls
out. He has no choice but to trust Computron is doing what is needed, not that
this was ever a question. After barely managing to get out of the way, Rodimus
transforms again putting the humans on the floor. "We could use Inferno
about now," he mutters, but is moving once more, as long as there were
lives to save his job here wasn't done and because of this, he can't spare the
time to try and go after the Decepticons.
Modified F-15 is'nt able to dodge in time and as the big
concord drops down on his 6, he's blasted from behind. onboard, the disruptors
blow out some flight systems and fry his radar, causing sparks to pop and
crackle from the unmanned controls. His flightpath now becomes even more
eratic, perhaps an evasive manouver, perhaps because of the damage he took.
Computron pauses as he watches the Decepticons take flight
at his approach, "Datum: Decepticons flee at first signs of resistance.
Datum: They must not succeed in the theft of materials. Datum: Hardshell must
be stopped. Conclusion: Weapon fire will distract him." With that Computron
raises his gun and fires at the fleeing Hardshell even if he misses it might
make the Decepticon drop what he's carrying in favour of a more hasty retreat.
Computron strikes Hardshell with Techno-Cannon.
At Rodimus' words, Kup takes a quick glance upwards.
"Aw, crap!" Knowing there's no time to get out of the way, he hurls
himself over the litter of humans he found, guarding them securely from harm.
When the explosions and shiz go down, Kup is miraculously not hit directly, but
the blasts and flying devris take their toll.
Hardshell is stuck by the energy beam and he drops the scrap
metal he was carrying, fortunately for him, his heavy plating protect him and
the Aquacon manages to keep his control and to fly aways.
Modified F-15 transmits to the jet behind him. "It's
lucky for you I have my orders. Or don't you remember last time
Silverbolt?" The modified jet pulls straight up, and igniting all 4
afterburners, zoomclimbs, rapidly gaining hieght in an attempt to stay out of
the airialbots gunsights.
Payloader <Scrapper> has gotten the Hell out of here.
Pity to anyone not bright enough to do the same.
Pity indeed!
The Payloader has gotten the hell out of here! So has Reflector! He's not
sticking around! He's got a family! He's got a misses and a whole bunch of tiny
lenses at home to worry about!
Concorde Jet increases power to his engine trying to keep up
with the jet. .oO(He's getting away)Oo. The aerialbot pushes his supersonic
engines to their maximum keeping his sights on the modified F-15 but alas the
best the SST can manage is not enough as Ramjet progressively increases the
distance between him and his autobot persuer.

Modified F-15 may be brave, and hard. but does'nt like being
called a moron and in any case, is smart enough not to try and beat up on
silverbolt with his giant computer brained friend looming all over the place.
He's done his part, drawn thier fire and given scrapper a chance to split...now
it's his turn. As his jets leave vapour trails thru the colder air high above,
the Ramjet makes no sighns of coming back this way.
"Are you alright, Kup?" Rodimus inquires just as
he manages to help a few more survivors. Not without feeling the force of some
side explosions himself. They send him back and he falls to the ground hard,
but the humans are at least saved. He slowly stands up, wincing a bit and
decides to give the battlefield a glance. Good, the Autobots had won the day or
so it seems. A nice win after a long series of being beaten around by
Devastator. However, after this loss... "The Decepticons will attack the
next time in force," he mutters, shaking his head and he returns to try
and continue rescuing people.
Concorde Jet drops the pursuit as he cannot match the F-15's
speed. The aerialbot turns around and heads for the arcology to help out his
fellow Autobots with the task of rescuing humans. As he nears the ground
Silverbolt transforms and dashes towards a pile of debris where he can see a
small arm waving.
The whole nose
section flips back 180 degrees to reveal the head, the tail section folds back
while the arms and legs unfold from the engine section completing Silverbolt's
transformation in robot mode.
Modified F-15 soars upward into the sky.
Modified F-15 has left.
<Decepticon> Ramjet says, "I don't see any
persuers from up here. I'm heading back to base."
<Decepticon> Scrapper says, "We shall never speak
of this mission again. Does everyone understand?"
<Decepticon> Ramjet says, "Only if you never call
me a moron again."
Computron watches the Decepticons as they retreat and takes
a little satisfaction in at least managing to wing the one escaping with
supplies he calculates the exact area where the debris will land and strides
over to reclaim the materials.
<Decepticon> Reflector says, "I shall remind you
every chance I get, Scrapper."
Kup groans and pushes himself off the humans. He sits there,
shaking away his double-vision. He's got dents, scorch-marks, and is a little
sore, but pretty much okay. He looks down at the humans he had covered, who are
even more frightened, some shouting frantic profanities at the old Autobot.
"Cram it." He grunts, rubbing a big dent in his helmet. Then finally,
he answers Rodimus. "Yeah, I'm okay." He calls out, "Dadblasted
Decepticon jerkwads..."
<Decepticon> Ramjet says, "next time you insult
me you'll be pulling your own aft out of the firefight."
Rodimus Prime receives a radio transmission.
<Decepticon> Shockwave says, "Enough."
<Decepticon> Scrapper says, "Shut up,
Ramjet."

Scrapper
appears on the screen, looking miffed.
"Since
we're just about out of metals with which to continue the Cyberforming, myself
and the various available Decepticons assaulted a Cairo Power Plant. It was
Reflector, Ramjet, Long Haul, Hardshell and I." Scrapper pauses and says
in an annoyed tone. "We were engaged by Rodimus Prime, Sky Lynx,
Silverbolt, Kup, and the sum total of the Technobots, Computron." He waits
for a second and says in a raised voice. "Let me repeat that. RODIMUS
PRIME." Pause. "SKY LYMX." Pause. "SILVERBOLT." Pause.
"KUP." Long pause. "Oh yes, and COMPUTRON." Scrapper shakes
his head, "Clearly the Autobots are taking our raids a tad more seriously
now... regardless, we got the Hell out of there as soon as we saw their attack
force, although Ramjet got shot up covering our withdrawl, and Hardshell got
cannoned by Computron as we retreated. The only _major_ thing that hurt is that
it was a huge waste of time!" Scrapper is way more annoyed at having his
time wasted than Ramjet and Hardshell's safety. Priorities, don'tcha know. "I'd
advise, Lord Galvatron, that any further raids on this planet be conducted with
a full scale assault force. Now let us never speak of this mission again.
Scrapper out!"
