Mount R'Lyeh

The symmetrical, gently sloping flanks of Mount R'Lyeh, the creator of this island, rise gradually to a simmering, ominously-smoking caldera about 1000 meters above sea level. Sizeable portions of the mountainside are clothed with a lush cloud forest of trees cloaked in ferns, mosses, and orchids, but... in other areas, foliage has been burnt to ash, incinerated by the relentless assault of rivulets of thin lava as it flows seaward. The ground frequently shakes as the restless volcano builds up pressure, then releases it with either another flood of lava, or an angry burst of smoke and steam before subsiding back to an uneasy sleep again.

Motormaster

Trypticon <T>

Obvious exits:

South <S> leads to Lost City.

Scrapper growls and steps forward, "Maybe I'll use your worthless carcass as the first lamppost!" He snarls, shaking a fist in annoyance. Ranks mean nothing when it comes down to Decepticon Bickering <tm>. "Cybertronian architecture is far superior to that of fleshbag construction! I don't see _their_ buildings surviving millennia of warfare! I can't believe you'd prefer this Earthling planet to our own."

Motormaster's cab splits, his body rising up out of his 18-wheeler form.

Motormaster's optics flare brightly, taking a step in kind towards Scrapper. Unlike the Constructicon's expression of rage, though, Motormaster carries one of amusement. "The only rubble that ever litters the roads -here- is what I leave in my wake. There is not a road on Cybertron that is not full of pot-holes or wreckage or refuse. It's almost all Autobot, and so fun to run them into, but at least the roads are maintained here. And Cybertron is not -my- planet. I was created here, my body was once manufactored here, I rule the roads here. This IS my planet.

Scrapper shrugs and turns back to peeling off another thick layer of Trypticon's hull. Just the fact he's able to do so this easily truly does say something about how badly off Decepticon City was. "Well if this place suffered through a war as long as Cybertron has, then it wouldn't be in nearly as good a shape as our 'metallic dumpheap' homeplanet." Scrapper /built/ much of what exists on Cybertron, and he is proud of his work. He never likes seeing his art be destroyed. "You're a Decepticon. Cybertron is your planet. Vector Sigma is Cybertronian. Get used to it. And either way, I'm not paving the place."

Scourge emerges from the city that is Trypticon.

Scourge has arrived.

Scourge stalks into the room.

Scrapper shrugs and turns back to peeling off another thick layer of Trypticon's hull. Just the fact he's able to do so this easily truly does say something about how badly off Decepticon City was. "Well if this place suffered through a war as long as Cybertron has, then it wouldn't be in nearly as good a shape as our 'metallic dumpheap' homeplanet." Vector Sigma is Cybertronian. Get used to it. And either way, I'm not paving the place." <repose for psycho>

Motormaster chuckles once more in amusement. "If this planet suffered a war as long as the metallic crapheap, we deserve whatever happens. Fleshlings shouldn't take that long to quash beneath our wheels and allow me to rule the roads with only Autobots to serve as speedbumps."

Scourge strides purposefully down one of the entry ramps leading into Trypticon. After a brief pause at the bottom he turns and moves toward the two of you. He rasps out, "Scrapper! Are all final preparations complete for the assault?" After staring at the Constructicon for a moment he finally looks up at Motormaster. He smirks at Motormaster's assessment, "For all I care Motormaster, each Decepticon can have an Autobot for a target drone after they are defeated. So long as this planet's resources belong to the empire."

Scrapper just waves his hand dismissively. "Right. Of course. Whatever you say. Now if you'll excuse me, I have _work_ to do before this battle." Hearing Scourge's voice, he stands up and salutes, "Yes, Scourge! Everything is set. Fulcrum has handled the Sharkticon drones!" He continues working while his player goes for dinner.

<OOC> Scrapper pops OOC for dinner. Be back for the battle, of course.

Shockwave emerges from the city that is Trypticon.

Shockwave has arrived.

<Decepticon> Shockwave says, "All Decepticons tapped for the fleet attack, report to the area outside Trypticon (OOC: Mount R'lyeh)"

Long Haul emerges from the city that is Trypticon.

Long Haul has arrived.

Soundwave emerges from the city that is Trypticon.

Soundwave has arrived.

Dirge emerges from the city that is Trypticon.

Dirge has arrived.

Scourge moves over toward Shockwave, looking into his single yellow optic and rasping. "All preparations are completed?"

Revenant emerges from the city that is Trypticon.

Revenant has arrived.

Scrapper is currently still working away on Trypticon, putting up new heavy duty ultra-thick blackened hull plates onto his form and nailing it in with a repeater nail gun. Always one to work for as long as he can. Finally, upon hearing the order come in, Scrapper sighs, "Alright, alright. I'm coming..."

Hook emerges from the city that is Trypticon.

Hook has arrived.

<Decepticon> Scrapper says, "Constructicons, you heard Shockwave. Once again the heavy work has fallen to us."

Revenant exits from the depths of Trypticon and walks over to stand behind Scourge casting a cursory glance of those that are gathered here, he doesn't look twice. Wings flexing ever so slightly he waits patiently to see what role Scourge wishes of him.

Dirge and his Seeker squadron emerge from Trypticon. He glances around at the assembled forces. It's about time the Decepticons started showing force on Earth. Hopefully, this will prove to be most interesting.

Divebomb emerges from the city that is Trypticon.

Divebomb has arrived.

Shockwave impassively stares down at Scourge. "Tactical uploads are complete. Targets have been attached to all datafiles with available intelligence collected. All participating units report ready status."

Soundwave steps out of Trypticon, blue/silver form glinting in the South-Pacific sun, shadow looming behind as he quietly moves into view. His monoptic gaze scans the forming crowd and he shifts, moving off to the side, folding his arms across his cassette-deck of a torso.

Also working outside Trypticon is Long Haul, his focus the pipeline that will soon power the disabled titan. It is still demeaning work...getting goods from point A to point B in the end. So, at the initial orders from Shockwave, the Constructicon perks up, his azure optics glowing with excitement from behind his faceplate. His mind racing, he checks off the list...Scavenger and Mixmaster have been quiet and the pipeline is underway. But still memories of being forgotten eat away at Long Haul...please, not this time. So, the hard working Cinderella is hopeful he may see the ball. And yes! Yes! The step mother approves! Only with Scrapper's transmission does Long Haul race over to join the others, eager to prove high command he has what it takes.

Divebomb flies out of Trypticon and lands on the ground outside. He salutes with his black, metallic wing. "Predacon Divebomb reporting."

Dirge salutes, along with Blackjack and Crapshoot. "Seekers are ready for combat, Commander Shockwave," utters Dirge. "Aye, Milord!" respond the other two Seekers.

Scrapper mingles with his Constructicon allies as he watches for Shockwave to deliver the briefing. Folding his arms, he eyes Long Haul and snorts, "What are /you/ so happy about?" Scrapper would rather keep on working, but keeps getting interrupted with the need to regularly beat down the foolish Terrans. Grunting in annoyance, Scrapper is pleased that at least he won't be going into battle alone. We all know THAT results in Jerk or Bitch blasting him repeatedly. I need not say who Bitch or Jerk are. You know who you are. "And remember, if the femme or fleshbag is there, the bounty stands!" He shouts out, reminding everyone of the price on Elita One and Ollin's head.

Shockwave surveys the assembled troops, then nods once.

Hook clanks his claws.

<Decepticon> Shockwave says, "This is Commander Shockwave to all attack units. The word is given. Commence attack."

Soundwave collapses in upon himself, his angular form turning and contracting until all that remains is a small, innocuous cassette player.

Dirge glances at Soundwave. "Soundwave. With me." He then looks at Crapshoot and Blackjack. "Seekers, TRANSFORM!" "ROGER!" the other two shout, all three leaping into the air to transform. Soundwave will have to do one of those fly by transforms.

Shockwave leaps up and transforms into his imposing space-cannon mode.

Soundwave hops up into Dirge's canopy with his amazing Velocity of 5.

Scourge leaps into the air and quickly folds into his sweep-craft mode.

Motormaster falls backwards, his form shifting into a menacing 18-wheeler.

Revenant shifts and blurs into his sleek sweepcraft mode.

Scrapper folds into himself, shifting into a lime green payloader. Oh, and he can fly in this mode via a giant purple wing that attaches to his form when needed. Cough. What?

Closing on the other Decepticons, Long Haul approaches Scrapper, trying to keep to a march, though anticipation...the thought of all his dreams finally coming true...gets the best of him. At his commander's rather sharp question, he replies, self control managing to keep his voice calm, "Nothing, Scrapper." Yet still, his effort combined with his face plate, are unable to contain his smile which bulges behind the black metal.

Sweepcraft [Revenant] silently transforms and follows on Scourge's wing.

Divebomb lifts himself into the air with his wings and circles in anticipation of the coming battle.

Shade emerges from the city that is Trypticon.

Shade has arrived.

Having yet to be honoured with a purple wing to help him fly in his dump truck form, Long Haul must leap into the air and engage his boot thrusters. Perhaps he will earn such a gift in this next battle...maybe this is when his abilities as a warrior will finally shine through. Maybe. Just maybe.

South Pacific - Indonesia/Australian Coast

Warm waters lap towards the shores of New Zealand and the Australian continent. Currents of chilled cold insinuate themselves in the waters of the warm Pacific from the south. An interesting blend of temperatures and climates, it's often windy here with lots of whitecaps. The going is a little rough, but closer into the islands of New Zealand, the same roughness makes for great skiing all year round.

UN Mandela

UNF Alabama has arrived.

The cassette player seems to fall apart quickly, but then with astonishing speed expands to fill a volume many times its former size. Arms and legs twist and set into their proper locations as the face of Soundwave flips up, emerging from the center of what is now his chest.

The aircraft carrier UN Annan is heading towards his new position few miles east from the New Zealand. The carrier is escorted by the destroyer UN Rodney King. Everything is calm in their sector both ships are few miles aways from the rest of the fleet. Both ships are heavily armed and they are on alert level 2 as ordered by the Commander Momesa.

The Situation: The Decepticons are going to be attacking two ships that are on the fringe of the blockade. The EDC and Autobots will be defending. This is an RPed battle. No code! This is also a FFA. No pairings! If you attack someone, it might be a good idea to OOCly page 'em and let them know so they know to watch out specifically for your pose. In the event of a Gestalt, page them all (cough... but I'm sure that won't be needed). Faction based pose orders. I'll repose this once the forces of good arrive.

This is no small-scale raiding party. The Decepticons seem to boil out of the sky like locusts, a match for the seething horde of near-mindless Sharkticon drones swimming beneath them, like a malevolent reflection of the destructive force that surges toward the lagging carrier and cruiser. In the forefront of the wargroup is the gigantic violet spacegun form of Shockwave, who transmits over a wideband frequency, "TERRANS! YOUR TIME HAS COME! THE HOUR OF YOUR ERADICATION IS AT HAND!"

<Earth> Kenya Momesa says, "To all Terran and Autobot forces on Earth, this is Commander Kenya Momesa from the EDC.  The Decepticons are attacking the EDC Fleet, the UN Annan and the UN Rodney King will soon be under fire.  I request all available assistance."

Payloader <Scrapper> flies alongside his Constructicons, and transforms. His laser pistol is already in hand. "Constructicons, ATTACK!" he shouts after Shockwave gives the official order. The Lime Green Engineer shoots blasts of laser fire towards the closet ship, which happens to be UN Rodney King - the Destroyer. Knowing that his own firepower is meager, Scrapper turns to Long Haul and Scavenger in midflight, "Long Haul and Hook, go help secure the Air Craft Carrier. Scavenger and I will handle the destroyer. We are to commandeer it! All others, join the general battle group!" With that, Scrapper swoops down towards the Destroyer.

The lime green payloader transforms into Scrapper.

Soundwave ejects from Dirge's canopy, falling a few meters before transforming into his much larger robot form. Suddenly, over -every single radio in the area- comes a hideous screech of feedback followed by Soundwave's multi-faceted and dischordant voice, pitched normally at first but descending almost a full octave after the pause: "Prepare for.. destruction..." He allows his voice to resonate across the band for a few moments, then replaces it with dead static as the local radio frequencies become suddenly useless...

Scavenger flies along beside Scrapper as ordered. "Not to be disrespectful..." he says, "But just /how/ are we going to do that?" he inquires, his own laser pistol not any more powerful then Scrapper's. He flies along anyway, trusting that Scrapper has a plan. He always does.

Sweep-Craft suddenly surges past Shockwave and down to skim the ocean surface. He wastes no time in arming his missile bays as he rapidly approaches the battleship. He broadcasts over the Decepticon broadband frequency. "For the glory of Galvatron and his empire. Show the humans no mercy!" as he approaches the ship he fires a volley of missiles toward the deck mounted weaponry of the Battleship, pulling up just before ramming it head on.

Filing in behind the rest of the Decepticon strike force, Long Haul finds his place with the other Constructicons. He flies with his square boots kicked out behind him and his purple arms outstretched in front of him. Though his face was beaming when he was called from his duties, it has now grown cold and grave. His optics are stern, with their gaze unwavering as they constantly monitor the horizon. It is time for battle...there can be no room for failure. Long Haul has tasted it before...it is so very bland, leading only to more of the same menial chores. So he wonders..."Will I ever know glory?"

Scrapper snorts at Scavenger, "Figure it out on your own." Ahhhh, Decepticon leadership.

Sweepcraft [Revenant] flies along silently with Scourge, in his mind he is already on the Hunt, he merely awaits orders from Scourge as to what their targets will be. In his minds eye the other Decepticons seem to fade away to be nothing more than objects not to be destroyed, the only real things to him are Scourge and the prey.

Stealth Power Armor <Ravenstep> has arrived.

Streaking from the sky soon after Shockwave and the Sweeps are three Seekers. Dirge is leading the pack, followed by two Seekers behind him. "Soundwave. Jamming field," utters the Seeker Commander, opening his canopy and releasing teh tape deck inside him. And with that he continues onward. "Blackjack, Crapshoot! Strafing fire on the targets. I want those flesh creatures scattered!" And with that, Dirge pulls ahead, activating his fear engines. The sound comes around the entire area, triggering uneasy feelings in all those around, but attuned for humans in this instance.

"ROGER!" both shout and break away from Dirge, heading for the carrier. "Bet you can't hit any of them, Crapshoot," says Blackjack. "WHAT!? I can hit 'em! I can hit 'em!" He pulls ahead, opening up with his seeker lasers. "DIE YOU NAUGHTY BASTARDS, DIE DIE DIE!" He hits everything. Jets. The Deck. The Water. Not a single human. "Ha! Told you!" shouts Blackjack as he pulls up with Crapshoot, conserving his ammo.

Motormaster allows the faster aerial based Decepticons lead the charge, moving at a slower pace with the rest of the ground-pounder types. Giving no shout of command to the troops following him, Motormaster simply dives towards the larger of the two target vessels. The aircraft carrier shall allow him to inflict his own brand of havoc with all eighteen wheels on solid metal.

Divebomb screeches a warcry once the attack order was given. Sunlight glints of the black and orange body of the metallic eagle. He dives towards the carrier, aiming for the deck. Sunlight glints of the black and orange body of the metallic eagle as it swoops towards its prey.

The swarm of mindless shark drones continue to swim toward the main fleet. Not having been given any further commands, yet.

Kenya Momesa receives a radio transmission.

Finally, after what seems like an eternity to Long Haul, the targets come into sight. Acknowledging Scrapper's orders with but a nod, Long Haul cuts through the air, not like a creature of grace such as bird or sweepcraft...but more like a brick. Drawing his laser pistol, which is like all Constructicon blasters, a pitiful ranged weapon, and proceeds to open fire on the target Scrapper chose for him. Finally, it is time to prove my worth, Long Haul tells himself.

Earth Defence Command and their Allies: Your turn

The crew of the UN Rodney King scrambles to their battlestations. The turrets are manned, the Aegis system is activated, radar/sonar go into active mode, and finally the AA missile batteries go into 'seek' mode.

Upon detecting the sweep's missiles the Ageis system goes to work in shooting some of them down. 3 missiles find their marks near the front of the ship. As for the sweep ramming the ship well...it leaves a pretty small dent considering the few 10 000s tons difference in weight. 1 missile Battery locks onto Divebomb and fires a small volley of missiles at him.

The alarm signal rings from the ships speakers. "All men to thier combat station." The UN Annan broadcast on the EDC frequency, "To the EDC Fleet, we're under attack by a major Decepticons force. We request all the assistance available." From the UN Annan, a Squadron of Shrikes takeoff and get ready to engage the Decepticons. The aircraft carrier raises his energy shield and points his weapons towards the Decepticons. One of the huge cannon points right towards the big purple Decepticon (Shockwave) and it fires a huge explosive projectile towards him. The UN Annan's rail guns fires salves after salves towards Scourge, Dirge and Soundwave.

"Roger that, Commander Momesa. 108th Shrike (I changed my mind. Shrikes, not AF-27s) Fighter Squadron is now ready for deployment." On the massive Earth Defence Aircraft Carrier Annan, the sleek Shrikes are launched into the air as they swiftly cover the distance towards the Decepticon horde. The radio chatter is all but silenced after this due to the jamming, but the EDC is well trained and well prepared for such a move. At once, the Shrikes begin to fire their long ranged missile weapons. Instinctively, they begin to target the bigger and slower flyers, including Shockwave, Motormaster before he lands, and most of the Constructicons. Once in range, they switch to the ballistic autoguns.

Decepticon Forces: Your turn

Shade does a superman dive toward the destroyer a bit behind the rest, firing her laser pistol ahead of her, when suddenly she seems to split in two, one copy of her banking to the left and the other to the right. Obviously there is a hologram involved here, but which one is it?

Flying Cannon <Shockwave> is big, ominous, and obviously a large target, as the explosive shell comes sailing towards him. His gun muzzle flares briefly, and a short burst of energy strikes the shell, detonating it prematurely and creating an impressive cloud of smoke, but not much else. Sailing through the cloud, jinking slightly back and forth as he emits pulsed electromagnetic beams to scramble missile locks, he intones, "Inefficient." His gun muzzle flares again, as a searing bolt of energy is sent rocketing out toward one of the Shrikes that gets too close.

Soundwave free-falls as the Annan's railgun shots streak past him. As a small target falling from a fair distance, he is missed, but only narrowly. As he approaches the water, he cuts in his foot-jets, bringing himself to a hover just above the surface of the ocean. "Rumble, Frenzy... eject. Operation: capsize." The two little Tapicons are launched toward the side of the UN Annan, obediently heading for the waterline in an attempt to crush it open with their piledrivers. Meanwhile, Soundwave begins moving just above the surface of the water toward the Carrier, aiming far above his head toward the launching Shrikes. He fires a missile at the closest jet's tailpipe in an off-handed attempt at downing it.

Scrapper touches down on the Rodney King and grins. "This is going to be easier than I thought." He begins firing at any humans that approach him as he marches towards the entrance. He knows he isn't going to be able to fit inside, but the Constructicon figures he can do a fair bit of damage just /ripping/ into the hull with his bare hands. "Now then, don't want to sink this beauty just yet..." Scrapper raises his voice, "Fleshbags, you have five seconds to abandon this vessel before I start firing!" 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. Scrapper starts firing.

Sweepcraft [Revenant] peels off from Scourge's wing and flies towards the destroyer, opening fire with his autocannon turrets he rakes the fore section of the ship with fire concentrating his firepower on the gun emplacements of the soon to be sunk Rodney King. The silent Hunter has his prey.

Scavenger is not even slightly as eager as Long Haul is to enter the fray. He does so grudgingly, flying behind Scrapper, allowing him to take the lead. "Sure, I'll just swoop down, capture this ship for you. Why not.." he mumbles to himself, his blaster firing away. He moves in behind Scrapper. Scavenger finds himself a nice spot with just a tad of room, kicking off whatever is in his way, before transforming into his steam-shovel mode. "I've been workin' on the railroad," His shovel rips into the deck like a can opener. "All a live long day," his shovel pulls through the metal again, exposing the

next deck down. He continues singing to himself merrilly as he does what he does best, digs.

Motormaster starts to near the aircraft carrier and begin his descent with his troops. "The carrier's surface will be our playground!" Spotting the bold EDC fighters unleash a few missiles in his direction, Motormaster does not bother to shoot them down. Instead, gravity handles his avoidance as he transforms and simply turns into a very large and heavy free-fall bombed aimed at the carrier's deck. The groundpounders behind are not so quick to react, one taking a missile in the chest, and becoming one of the first balls of fiery goodness to appear at the battle, plummenting into the ocean.

Motormaster falls backwards, his form shifting into a menacing 18-wheeler.

Rail-gun fire blazes through the sky, and but Dirge is a master of the air. He banks around the shots, and calls out, "EVASIVE MANUEVERS!" And then he goes back to dodging shots, getting shaken up by the air turblence caused by the explosions. "Keep the humans grounded! I want none of those planes on the carrier taking off!" he bellows in his dark voice. "DEATH to those who oppose the Decepticons!"

"Hey, they're firing at us!" shouts Crapshoot. "You're a real genius, Craps," says Blackjack. The two Seekers are also flying, attempting to keep any planes taking off from getting into the air. "Hey! That's not fair! Why, if we had Slots, Roulette and SnakeEyes we could merge into Gamblor!" "...You've been into the bad energon again, haven't you?" says Blackjack, and with that, he pulls ahead towards the carrier again to take another shot at the jets, dodging more railgun fire. "....WHAT I SAY!?" calls out Crapshoot as he jets forward to lend an assist.

Autobot Hovercraft (Sentinel) cruises in from the Southwest Pacific far to the east.

Autobot Hovercraft (Sentinel) has arrived.

Gold hovertruck cruises in from the Southwest Pacific far to the east.

Gold hovertruck has arrived.

Divebomb dives towards the carrier as a volley of missiles from the destroyer flies at him. He turns and fires rockets in response in an attempt to try and stop the barrage. A ball of fire appears in the sky as the missiles collide. Not all were destroyed. As Divebomb veers left to avoid the fireball and gets hit by the "one that got away." A shrill screech issues forth from his black beak as the Predacon falls from the sky. As he nears the ocean's surface, the eagle levels himself out and charges straight into the destroyer, attempting to rend its side with beak and talons.

Sentinel> Overload watches Scattershot leave without so much as a good-bye before slumping into the Technobot's former chair. He leans an elbow on the console and peers at the viewer. "I really hope we don't sink, Rod... I'm pretty sure I don't float."

Sweep-Craft <Scourge> streaks across in an opposite direction as Revenant, evading several of the rail shots. One passes close enough to really make him angry, thus he begins to pepper the deck of the battleship with bolts of plasma. "Human Scum.....die!"

Trailing behind the much faster Decepticon warriors is Long Haul, his laser pistol trained on the carrier. Luminous shards of light streak from his weapon toward the human transport. For a moment, it seems he has been forgotten, his commanders identified and already the target of the flesh creatures' weaponry. This pleases the Constructicon supply runner such as it causes him to dismay. It seems he is insignificant...of no threat to the terran forces. So, with a sneer, from which a muffled growl sounds, Long Haul begins to fire more furiously, target the ships on the deck of the carrier. That is until those aircrafts take to the air and begin to retaliate. It seems Long Haul is of some importance...and he now has the bullet riddled armour to prove it, should any Decepticon attack his status in their army.

Sweep-Craft makes a low pass over top of the shark drones, calling out loudly. "Drones.....attack Hovercraft!" again, the drones hesitate a moment before starting to swim toward the newly arrived hovercraft.

Battlecruiser has arrived.

Battlecruiser looms in the distance because he's slow like that.

Earth Defence Command and their Allies: Your turn: As Soundwave noted: Imagine the Imperial March song playing.

The Shrike that Shockwave targets is quite simply incinerated into a ball of flames, and the other Shrikes pull up violently in response. There's much cursing and swearing, but with the radios down nobody can hear it. Soundwave, m'man, I have some bad news for your slow ass. Everyone knows damn well who's doing the jamming, and that makes you a target. The Shrike that gets shot at with a missile performs a shockingly impressive manuever and shakes it off. Starscream would be impressed. At least have of the Shrike horde begin to concentrate their fire on the Tape Commander. Jamming makes people shoot at you. Meanwhile, more Shrikes take off even as the flight deck of the carrier is being assaulted. They're desperate, and know they're sitting ducks on the ground. By now, all the Shrikes have lifted off. As Long Haul makes himself a nice big slow lime green target, the Shrikes each fire a short burst from their autocannons as they take off.

UN Annan's shield and its heavy armor prevents the ships from taking too much damage from the tapes attack but the shield is too weak to prevent the huge truck from landing on the bridge of the Aircraft Carrier. A Squad of EDC soldier almost immediately comes out of the command tower and begin to fire towards Motormaster with their rifle and an anti-tank bazooka. The constructicons attack his mostly soaked by the energy shield who begins to show some signs of weakness. Once again the huge main cannon points towards the biggest Decepticon (SHOCKWAVE) and fires an other explosive shell. The rail guns are now firing at all those who are atacking the UN Rodney King.

The Crew of the Rodney King is surprised of seeing Scrapper arrive for closer-than-comfort combat. Some marine are gunned down by the constructicon. Out of his field of vision however one of the big guns is slowly turning to point towards his back. Preparing to put a nasty 6" inch slug up his aft.

Revenant's attacks does about 40% damage on one of the gun emplacement and 10% on another. The more damaged one seems to have trouble spinning to track targets. On the port side Divebomb is peacking and clawing at thie thick armor...Not the most efficient way but it gets the job done. Slowly but surely the predacon is 'digging' his way into the hull.

Clouds of plasma erupt all over the main deck as Scourge strafes, killing marines, damaging one of the depthcharge dispenser and torpedo launcher.

The UN Rodney King fights back firing 1 volley of missile at Scourge and the other at Revenant. Meanwhile the guns are trying to line up Scrapper. One of the 6" gun fires off a shot in his direction. A few courageous (or utterly stupid) marines crawl all to the port side of the ship and starts to fire their M-16s at Divebomb.

Sentinel> Overload startles in his seat, optics widening to near perfect circles. "Primus on a stick!" he sputters through his usual gravelly tone. His fingers drill across the buttons, trying to increase the resolution on the main display. "Rodimus, this don't look good...."

Gold hovertruck races into view, following the hovercraft as best she can. Seeing the signs of the battle, the gold femme speeds up and pulls slightly away from the Sentinel, getting ready for combat... and to distract any potential Decepticons away from said hovercraft... at least long enough for those onboard to safely get out... she mentally double takes at she sheer size of the battle... The gold femme speeds up as she hears the order to attack the hovercraft, moving to intercept the drones... "Rodimus, Overload... we've got drones incoming... I'll try to keep them busy..." the femme reaches the first of the drones and sword like blades extend from before the cab, shifting to a differant angle, she slashes at the swimming drones as she races past, hoping to at least distract them... not expecting this attack to work...

Sentinel> Rod smirks. "I don't float either. If we sink, we will have a long way back to walk towards the coast," Rodimus offers, trying to reassure the medic. He pretty much has the hovercraft going at the highest speed possible. "Incoming attack, brace yourself, Overload," Rodimus mutters as he tries to pilot the vehicle to avoid the incoming drones. "Can you pilot this thing, Overload?"

Battlecruiser tails the Autobot Hovercraft via a combination of Animation Errors and altitudes, maintaining a distance from it of 1 kilometer. As the action comes into view he starts tactically analyzing the situation immediately.

From the horizon all those who pay attention to their surrounding may notice that five battleships and another Aircraft Carrier are approaching the battle site.

Decepticon Forces: Your turn

Scavenger pauses in his digging as a six inch shell goes flying past. This seems to bring the gun turrents to his attention for the first time. "Oooh, more things to dig with!" his treads start to spin, and the steam shovel rolls right up to the nearest turrent, the one that is moving faster. His shovel bangs down solidly on the barrel of the six inch gun. Behind him he has left a large gaping hole in the deck of the poor ship.

Divebomb swoops down, and the ominous eagle shifts into his daunting robot form.

Flying Cannon <Shockwave> watches the Shrike pilots all decide that life is too short to fight with a flying spacegun. Hey, that works for him. He reorients on the Annan, just as another shell is launched at him. While Shockwave isn't necessary fast on the sprints, he's notoriously agile in both modes... doing a fast barrel roll as the explosive round rockets past. "Enough," he states coldly... his maw glowing ominously, before a tremendous gout of energy stabs downward at the Annan's heavy cannon array, Shockwave following in its wake.

Scrapper grins as the marine gets gunned down. He chuckles and draws his laser pistol, seeking to aim for a nice radar dish that keeps spinning around. But just before he can do so, Scrapper falls forward. The 'Big Gun' struck him dead on, just when he wasn't paying attention. "That's it." He mutters as smoke drifts off from his scorched backside. "You're dead." He informs the Big Gun. Scrapper transforms, readies his shovel capable of slicing through 12 inches of thick carbon steel, and goes to ram the damn thing.

Scrapper folds into himself, shifting into a lime green payloader. Oh, and he can fly in this mode via a giant purple wing that attaches to his form when needed. Cough. What?

Soundwave sees the jets swinging around in his direction and turns directly toward the carrier in the hopes that he can use its proximity as a deterrant against incoming missile vollies. At the last moment as the first volley comes in, he turns and blasts the missiles with a sonic burst that causes them to detonate in a chain reaction. The large tape commander is showered with smoke and shrapnel, and singed by fire, but the damage all seems to be superficial for now -- little pieces of missile are embedded in his arms and torso. As he nears the hull of the ship he gains in altitude, taking the opportunity to hide beneath the overhanging flight deck. He gets reeeeaaaally close to the hull and starts another sonic wave, slowly varying the field in the hopes of finding the hull's resonance frequency and cracking it open like an egg....

Shade bobs and weaves through the air to avoid rail-gun shots and moves into a circling pattern above the Rodney King, firing laser bolts downwards at the Marines on deck. A small smirk moves onto her face as she watches the humans pile up on deck. "Ripe for the picking..." she mutters to herself.

Shade moves in an exact mirror image to her twin, circling the Rodney King from the other side and also firing laser bolts downwards toward the deck. In the confusion of the battle, it's hard to tell which bolts are real and which imaginary.

"That's it, Seekers! Now... FINISH THE JOB!" Dirge flys in low to the deck of the carrier and pulls up, transforming into his robotic form and landing on the metal floor with a THUD. He glances around at the scattering humans and raises his arms any wreckage that looks even remotely capable of fly.

Blackjack quickly follows Dirge's example, landing on the deck and transforming. Wielding a large energy club, the Decepticon Seeker turns towards the jets and bashes at them with his clubs, attempting to disable their wings. "HEY! CRAPS! Ya think you can disable this ship's engines!? Think you can hit THAT?" "Of course I can!" shouts Crapshoot, as he lands and transforms, wielding his scatter-blaster. "I'll be right back." He heads off towards the aft of the ship. Each Seeker looks slightly roughed from mid-air explosions, but none of them have taken any damage yet.

Sweepcraft [Revenant] pulls up into a steep climb as the missiles from the ship race to meet him urging his form to full speed he easily out distances the crude weaponry. Once a safe distance away he pulls out of the climb and dives straight back down towards the battleship the missiles seem to be catching at the last micron before impact with the bridge Revenant pulls sharply out of the dive in a manoeuvre that would sheer the wings from a normal plane from the sheer stress but which his Unicronian body can easily handle, but what of the missiles?

Black Semi looks similiar to war footage (or a Michael Bay movie) of aerial bombs falling out of the sky towards the carrier below, except he's not spinning. Seems he has a carrier in bombardment should he give up the King of the Road title, striking the carrier bridge directly with his massive weight. His trailer rocks from the anti-tank shells that strike it and dig away at the reinforced armor there. Lurching free of the wreckage, the semi's motor lets out a deep rumble, air horn wailing in unison, as it charges towards the defending crewmen.

The modified F-15 jet transforms into the fearful form of DIRGE.

Divebomb lets out a shrill eagle cry as bullets ricochet off his metallic body. Enraged that the humans would even think they could harm him, the Predacon transforms with weapons in hand. Divebomb continues slashing at the side of the destroyer, trying rip open the side. At the same time he aims his rifle at the foolish marines and lets loose a couple of shots, laughing maniacally at the carnage that ensues.

Two of the shark drones take moderate damage from the attack by the hover-truck and begin to give her chase. The others, begin to swarm around the Autobot Hovercraft. Their large mouths open and ready to chomp large holes in the hull when in range.

With swarms of enemy aircraft taking off, Long Haul does not recoil in fear. Quite the opposite, he feels that pulsing energy he did when he was summoned to this bloody affair. Though it is not quite the sadistic nightmares a sweep would pleasantly dream, visions of smoking fighters plucked from the sky begin to fill the Constructicon's mind. Finally, victory! A promotion, a transfer, and perhaps a unit of his own...then a division, a medal, and finally a statue. But no, Long Haul is quickly brought back to reality, his laser pistol not enough to keep the human pilots at bay. Fortunately, he is struck only once, courtesy of the fighter leading the aerial resistance. Thus, Long Haul plummets to the deck of the carrier, his now char black chest ripped open by a shell. The fading energy field of his target adds to his pain, causing his exterior to sizzle and steam. The deck of the carrier is not agreeable either. Still, his dreams will not be crushed quite yet. Rising doggedly to his feet on the deck of the carrier, the determined Constructicon charges forward, fists swinging this way and that. Whatever is on deck he aims to smash.

Sweep-Craft <Scourge> grows annoyed by the humans and their puny weapons. Two missiles explode behind him, but the third detonates much closer, causing some minor splash damage to his hull. Quickly he turns for another pass, powering up his disintegrator ray and targeting the bridge. With no second thought he fires the bright purple ray of energy toward the destroyer.

Earth Defence Command and their Allies: Your turn

As Soundwave finally reaches the Ammun, the Shrikes know full well that they cannot shoot him without risking hitting the carrier itself. Still, the ship's main weaponry should be able to finish the job and at least get that jamming field down. The Shrikes tear off, folding into groups of two. All this without radio frequencies. Truly a credit to their training. One pair of Shrikes lock onto a spider as it weaves through the air, both launching missiles. Another pair lock onto Shockwave. No, they weren't scared of him. Just had more important things to deal with. Sorry if that hurts the ol' ego :-) Regardless, they cut loose with their laser turrets at the big purple phallic target. Perhaps amusingly, one single jet locks onto the Sweep Commander and opens fire with a string of short-ranged missiles. This'll be cute.

Sentinel> Overload nods once to the the flaming Autobot commander. "I think could manage..." His optics fall on the monitors again. "IF them freaks don't eat the thing first."

Gold hovertruck grumbles mentally as she only gets two of the drones and swings around in a wide circle, speeding up as she does so, once she's headed back towards the hovercargo she begins firing at the rest of the drones, trying to get the whole mess of them to chase her, as opposed to the hovercraft... Hopefully, the fact that she's a good ten feet off the water SHOULD keep her safe from the sharkdrones teeth. She watches the cons attacking the ships and mentally curses, this is not good... this is not good at all... oO(More weapons in this mode... I definitly need to get more weapons in this mode...)

The rest of the Shrikes trade firepower with the Seekers. Woo.

The cannon shot from Shockwave totally overloads the Annan's shield. The remaining energy hit the main cannon who's now severly damaged. Piece of metal are flying across the bridge and hurts some of the crew members. At the same moment the black-semi rams through the crew members who are fighting him killing two of them in the process. Thanks to its really really heavy plating Soundwave's attack is rather ineffective, the hull still resist. Things are going bad for the UN Annan, the main gun is out and a black semi is rampaging on the bridge. It's time to fire their secret weapons! Some trap doors open in the ship's hull and a barrage of missile is fired from them targeting : SHOCKWAVE, SOUNDWAVE, DIRGE, SCAVENGER, SCRAPPER, SCOURGE AND REVENANT. More crew members come out of the command tower and attack Motormaster. Some of them set a railgun battery on the bridge and use it to fire at the Stunticon.

Sentinel> "Take the controls of the Sentinel, now!" Prime calls out. "And take us to the Annan, send a message to the EDC asking for permission to use their flight deck to fight off the attack," Rod continues just as he lets go of the controllers and moves to get open the hatch used to board the hovercraft. "I need to go shark hunting," he offers as explanation and swings out, landing on the hovercraft itself. It's Surfin' Rodimus! Once there, he produces his photon rifle and starts shooting at the shark drones trying to keep them away.

The reinforcement are now closer but they're still out of range. But soon the Shrikes from the second carrier will be able to takeoff.

Battlecruiser's main purpose for tailing the Autobot Hovercraft was to keep any Decepticons off of it so the autobots within could get out and kick ass. Seeing the drones move in on his boys he goes into a barrel roll from high above to a few scant feet from the coast and back again, lighting up the sharks with thermal shells. The missiles launched from the Annan buy him time to keep from having to rearrange his priorities too soon.

Sentinel> Overload stumbles out of his seat at Rodimus' command, making a grab from the controls. "Lil' warnin' would be nice," he grumbles to himself as he eases into the seat. The old medic looks at the controls and sighs. "One of these buttons is probably the weapons... of course one of them's probably the ejector seat....."

UN Rodney King: Revenant's little stunts works at 50% as one of the incoming missile triggered the Aegis gun and was shot down. The other missile slammed into the upper part of the hull rocking the boat slightly for those standing on the main deck.

Decepticons' Turn

Scourges blasts are ripping a few holes in the main deck, destroying lifeboats on the side of the ships, anti-sub torpedo launcher and 1 AA turret. Scrapper and Scavenger are bashing and going to work on the 6" gun, Scavneger manages to bend the barrel to the point where it would be suicidal to fire the gun. While Scrapper is starting to life the turret up, slowly ripping it off the deck but damn those things are heavy stil you can see oil from the hydraulics being torn. The 1 of the 2 marines that was firing at Divebomb is cut down in 2 by a laser beam but thanx to instant cauterization he lives...just with no legs. He will get a purple heart if he lives through this.

The UN Rodney king fights back firing 2 Exocet (Mach .9 Fire and Forget) missiles at Scourge. A few marines step out from the main building and start firing at Scrapper/Scavenger with grenade launchers. Shade who is flying above and firing lasers manages to cut the communications arrays and is thanked for his effort by a salvo from the dual 20mm Phalanx guns.

Scavenger gets hit full on by the missile barrage aimed at him. The steam shovel goes airborn from the blast. Unfortunately as this is not a naturally attainable position for a steam shovel, mother nature moves to correct this error. Gravity does it's work, and a moment later there is a rather large steam-shovel falling off the port bow of the ship. He just manages to catch the edge of the ship with his shovel, the main body of this machine hanging off the side. He transforms, still holding on by the shovel. Due to the shovel's placement on his body, he now has his back to the ship, hanging off the side. "Whoever did that... I AM NOT LAUGHING!" he screams, very loudly. "SCRAPPER! PULL ME UP!" Yes, he could fly, but those mean people are shooting at him. He is /not/ going airborn here unless he absolutely has to.

From UN Mandela, Michael Briar drops EDC AF-27 <Archangel Leader>.

From UN Mandela, Michael Briar boards the UN Mandela.

Soundwave pauses as a trap door opens next to him, watching the missile rack popping out slightly to try and get a bearing on him. Instead of letting it aim at him and fire, he sets off another sonic burst directly into the opening on the ship, causing several of the missiles to detonate on the rack -- again he is sprayed with shrapnel and fire. He gazes impassively at the opening in the ship and finds it incredibly convenient, unloading a missile into the opening as well, backing off slightly as to avoid the backblast. As the smoke clears, the tape commander can be seen trying to rip open a gash in the hull where the trapdoor was.

Black Semi's undercarriage is once again given a fresh lube job by the fleshlings who find themselves compressed beneath his wheels. No interior wall in the less reinforced bridge can resist his might, pursuing those humans that have eluded him so far. Somewhere around here has to be the ship's captain, commander, whatever rank the fleshlings gave the ship's main officer when his life still mattered, before the Stunticon arrived. His thoughts are interrupted as a railgun slug pierces through his trailer from the battery, the truck's engine roaring angrily. A new speedbump is chosen, the semi pivoting and surging towards the aggressive fleshlings.

EDC AF-27 <Archangel Leader> takeoffs from the UN Mandela

EDC AF-27 <Archangel Leader> has arrived.

Flying Cannon <Shockwave> is struck by several laser pulses, but isn't noticeably fazed. He decides to take the battle to the Terrans, cutting out his thrusters and transforming as he drops. Just then, a barrage of missiles explodes from launch ports on the Annan. Twisting so that he's dropping headfirst, his gun arm spits a barrage of pulses at the missile group soaring toward him... blasting all but one into scrap. The last, he catches with his hand... twisting again with the force of the rocket motor and flinging it at the Shrikes pursuing him. As he lands on his feet on the Annan's deck with a resounding CLANG, he intones, "I believe that is yours, Terran."

Shockwave rapidly transforms from space-cannon to robot mode.

Payloader <Scrapper> grins inwardly as he smashes the big gun. Transforming, he gives a cheesy cartoonish grin despite having a faceplate and thumbs up to Scavenger, just to show the kids watching at home that even evil people can be nice sometimes. Giving the wrecked gun one more swift kick out of annoyance, Scrapper blinks, "You idiot!" Scrapper reaches and grabs Scavenger at the back, struggling to pull him back up. "Oh SHAZBOT!" He shrieks as the marines shoot at them with the grenade launcher. Without a word, both Scrapper and Scavenger tumble over the edge of the destroyer and splash into the water.

The lime green payloader folds up into the Constructicon known as Scrapper.

Shade chuckles a bit when the communication arrays are sliced open by her laser shots, but is cut short as the Phalanx guns rotate and lock onto her. She dives in an attempt to avoid their tracers, but then screams in pain as the guns rip into her back. 180 degrees across from her, her hologram double flickers out of existance as her systems reroute power to her anti-gravs. She shudders and tries to regain altitude, firing a few shots behind her which go wide.

Between Scattershot's barrage Rodimus' rifle shots, and Sheng's concentrated fire they manage to disable 10 of the shark drones. The rest of the main group begin leaping up onto the hull, biting and clawing at the armor of the Autobot craft. The two chasing Sheng are lagging behind just a bit, the damage to their limbs preventing them from achieving full speed.

Shade fades from view.

Sweepcraft [Revenant] gives a low growl as he is once again targetted by the human missiles this time however, flipping end over to face the new approaching missile he opens fire destroying them all, one of them detonates a little too close and causes some minor damage to his armour but nothing that would cause him any concern. Choosing a different approach he drops to almost zero altitude and swings around in a large arc lining himself up for the next attack run.

With Motormaster drawing most of the attention on deck, Long Haul is able to go to work, smashing, stomping, and blasting. Still, it takes him some time to weed through the basic equipment and reach the primary targets with his savage attacks. Though his visage remains ice cold and battle ready, he eyes his work with glee, hoping it will be enough to please his superiors. Then, eager to do even more, the Constructicon falls into his dump truck form, a mode in which he has access to rockets. In a matter of moments, they are targetting the defenses of the UN carrier. There is one reason for Long Haul to despair...Motormaster appears to be carrying the load...getting the most done. This will have to change.

"Pitiful flesh creatures! TREMBLE BEFORE THE MIGHT OF DIR---" Dirge is suddenly cut off as the missiles strike him, causing him to fly back into the water. Blubbering as he resurfaces, Dirge's dark optics flash as he scans the side of the ship. He is in the water. With Sharkticons. Not trusting Fulcrum's work fully, Dirge launches himself into the air and away from the gnashing jaws of death. He glances around and makes a quick tactical decision. The Sharkticons are their best force in the water. Therefore, he must preserve them. He aims a concussion missile at the depthcharge dispensers and opens fire, sending RED HOT DEATH at them.

"Hey! They got Dirge! Craps! Forget about the engine and get over here and help me!" Blackjack calls out to his friend amidst the explosions. "I'm coming, I'm coming!" calls Crapshoot as he comes back over. "Okay, I'm here... so now what?" "Well, first we..." Suddenly, one of those missile turrets rise out of the floors and take aim at the pair. They freeze. The missiles don't fire. Blackjack looks at Crapshoot, who looks back... Blackjack takes an experimental step towards the left, away from Crapshoot. The turret snaps in his direction and fires a missile, striking Blackjack and sending him flying into the ocean. "YA-HOO-HOO-HOOEY!" Crapshoot stands there, frozen, and afraid to move for the moment.

Divebomb fires a parting shot at the last marine. He then flies towards the nearest weapons battery in an attempt to silence its firing, dragging the blade of his sword along the side as he flies by. The sound of screeching metal can be heard over Divebomb's laughter. The Predacon's yellow optics flare as he nears a turret and unleashes rounds from his rifle into it in hopes of some flashy explosion.

Sweep-Craft <Scourge> finds himself suddenly the target of about a half a dozen missiles altogether, though he is not bothered by this. In fact, he thrives on it. Speeding up to near maximum velocity for only 1 second to gain distance on the primative weapons. As he gets a proper distance he quickly transforms, rifle in hand and begins to pick off the missiles in the air much like a sportsman shooting clay pidgeons. Once all the missiles have been dispatched he swoops around, firing a volley of shots down at the large missile launchers on the Aircraft Carrier. For now he ignores the shrike that had previously fired on him, bigger problems.

Scavenger falls into the water with Scrapper, as they hit the water he can be heard saying, "You suck, boss." and the steam-shovel decepticon starts to sink like, well, like a steam shovel should. There is a loud "bloop" noise as he dissapears under the water, yelling the whole way down.

<O-Decepticon> Soundwave says, "Hot diggity damn they're going to merge and do the 'rise up from the deep' trick. :)"

EDC and Autobot forces: Your turn

The UN Annan is now in serious troubles, Soundwave's actions created a huge hole in the hull but thanks God, it's above the waterline. Fortunately the Annan's crew is not inactive neither are they stupid, some of them already managed to partially repair the main cannon. The crew near the rail gun watches Motormaster rolling towards them, at the last minute, they run away and detonate the bomb, they hid under their gun, right in front of Motormaster. Other crew members are currently heading towards Shockwave and Long Haul with their rocket launcher and the remaining ship's rail gun fire at Soundwave. Finally the main gun /slowly/ points towards Scourge and fires an explosive shell.

Gold hovertruck reaches the main 'force' of the drones, weaving slightly to avoid the shots Rodimus is firing, the femme races in close again, trying to get a few more of the drones with the blades. Half of her attention (okay, more then half) is focusing on the ongoing battle, trying to think of a way to help... The best answer she can come up with would be to get onto the flight deck and try and get Motormaster OFF... After that... The gold femme frowns and drops down low, actually leaving a wake in the water as she does so. oO(Come on, drones... you've got a 'easy' target right here... you don't have to jump up to get me...) she turns keeps slashing drones as she goes, dropping down low every so often as she tries to distract the drones and avoid 'friendly fire' at the same time... "Rodimus, if Scattershot and I keep the drones busy, do you think you can hit any of the cons? I doubt they're expecting an attack from over here..."

Sentinel> The Autobot hovercraft shudders as the sharkdrones claw and chew into it. Warning lights cast a red hue across Overload's deeping scowl as he forces the craft to stay its course for the Annan. There's another squeal of shredded metal and Overload considers swerving wildly to shake off the Sharkticons... of course, that might shake off Rodimus too.... He gives serious consideration to swerving wildly.

The Shrikes aren't bothered by Shockwave's ability to withstand their firepower. They know how tough he is. But they've seen even mighty mechs like him go down to humans. They've watched the Monacus Olympics on digital television. Ollin and Tempest, baby. Gold Medalists. Oh yeah! Terran power! Ahem. Not wishing to duplicate the missile-catching problem, the Shrikes shift to the heavy autocannons, cutting loose on the now robotic Shockwave. The only other fliers in the air worth talking about is Revenant - simply none in the area - and Scourge. That poor woman who attacked Scourge... Well, she's still alive. Keeping on the Sweep Commander, the Shrike cuts loose with both her autocannons and laser turrets, "Lets see him dodge all this..." The pilot can be heard to mutter even as Scourge speeds away at an alarming speed.

From the distance, a huge wave of reinforcements are arriving, thanks to the main battlefleet of Earth Defence Command, including the UN Mandela's fighting escort. Decepticons, the battle's tough. Prepare for a war.

The hovercraft hull suddenly splits, a ramp slowly extending from an unsuspected opening.

Rodimus Prime has arrived.

The reinforcement are now close enought to send Shrikes Squadron. And it's exactly what they do! From the UN Mandela they takeoff and attack the decepticons.

With the battle raging it's time to bring in the heavy artillery. From the UN Mandela 4 fighters rise out from each elevator. They reach the flight deck clearing the way for each AF-27 to lift off on their VTOL's. Michael Briar, in Archangel leader, hovers above the deck before pointing his fighter's nose down and picks up speed to level off. The fighters behind him do the same and fly in perfect formation while Michael calls out, "Archangel's, pick your targets and let's give these ships some cover fire!" The fighters pair off, Archangel's 3 and 2, leader and 1 pair up as wing men/woman as they look around. Michael clicks in over the radio, "Commander Momesa, I need some targets." Seeing the drones he points towards the con drones. The pilot in archangel one nods and opens fire with Briar, ballistic weapons spinning white and gold lights from the wing bases of each fighter with a familiar metallic burrrrrr sound.

Battlecruiser doubles around and comes after the Shark hordes along with Rodimus' attacks, knowing that he can't cram the Chosen One, the Dramatic One, and the Medical One into his own cargo bay for the long trip home. Thus, he is forced to defend the Sentinel's honor until the hordes are beaten down. He switches from mid-wing to the tip-mounted sonic shell launchers and tears himself into that pseudo-sharkticon heiney.

Rodimus watches as the UN Annan gets closer and closer. He also notices Shockwave making his landing on it. "If you are taking too much damage, get on the Annan as well!" he calls out towards Overload. Then Rodimus jumps up in the air... and transforms. The smokestacks blaze with fire as the Flaming RV finds itself flying the short distance left. Before landing, Rodimus transforms once more into his robot mode. "Shockwave! So Galvatron only sent his pets today?" Rodimus asks, in a taunting manner as he raises his rifle and shoots a photon blast at the Decepticon.

Decepticon Forces: Your turn

UN Rodney King: Divebomb manges to slash through the servos of an AA turret which causes it to point down towards the deck becoming quite useless except as cover for anyone thinking hiding behind a pile of unarmed missiles is a good idea.

The depthcharge dispensers are blown to hell by a missile which slipped by the Aegis system...Granted that stuff is state of the art but tracking so many targets some are bound to slip by.

The dual 20mm Phalanx gun line up on Dirge and fire off a salvo in his direction. 1 turret tries to aim at Divebomb but alas he is in a 'blind spot' for that turret the guy manning it cannot get the right angle to shoot. Now that Scrapper and Scavenger are off the deck, a few medics rush out to try and bring the injured back inside the ship. Gotta admire those fearless medics. 1 of the 3 remainig turrets fires an Exocet at the seekers.

Gold hovertruck says, "Or you could leap off the hovercraft and fly over there... that works as well...""

Shockwave is less involved with the Terrans pelting him with varying caliber rounds, leaving more than dents on his thick hide, than he is with the Autobot Commander landing on the deck. Well, this is getting ugly. Twisting sideways, he manages to escape the worst of the blast... armor along his flank singing and softening from the bolt's passage. "Indeed," he remarks at Rodimus... charging the Chosen One, his gun arm up and blasting away as he sweeps out his chainsword. His intent: to get too close to Rodimus, so that others will be less likely to try and fire into the melee.

Black Semi watches the fleshlings scatter with minor amusement. Things are so much easier when they stick together, to be run down in one big bloody squishy mass. But hit and runs on one at a time has its own charm. *KaBlam!* The bomb goes off, bathing him in speeding metal shrapnel and a wave of flame, the shockwave blowing the surprised Stunticon onto his side against a bulkhead wall. Once he has recovered, Moto manages to get himself onto nine wheels with a little bit of work, and just starts after the fleeing humans while at an angle.

Soundwave flattens himself against the hull of the carrier as the railgun fires, opening a wide slash across his back -- a glancing hit, but a glancing hit from a railgun. His optic flares as he turns to face the offending turret, loosing a missile at it before rending some more hull plating from the gash in the carrier. Having widened the hole enough, he moves away and toward the flight deck, recalling his cassettes and setting them to work inside the ship where they can do damage: "Rumble.. Frenzy... Operation: Capsize aborted. Commence Operation: Infiltrate." The tapes obey and rush the hole in the ship to wreak havoc on its innards..

Shade shoots straight upwards as Autobots flood into the area. With this sudden influx of enemy reinforcements, Shade finds her self highly out classed as far as fighting goes. She reaches an altitude far above the battle and then pauses for a moment as she tries to figure out where her particular talents can be of use...

Slowly carefully Revenant lines up his shot taking care to aim precisely at the bridge section of the Rodney King taking his time waiting for the optimum angl he finally releases a pulse of energy. Not waiting to see the results he pulls up sharply and looks for other prey the human ships are just no fun at all they don't even try to run what disappointing prey.

Space Fighter [Cyclonus] arrives from the shores of Rocky Beach.

Space Fighter [Cyclonus] has arrived.

Space Fighter [Cyclonus] rockets into the the area.

Dirge fires his rocket boosters from his feet and flies high into the sky, avoiding the shots from the cannon. He is already wounded by the guns and shaken by mid-air explosions. He gazes down at the battle below and watches as several of his gumby Seekers go down in flames from the cannon shots. "...Fools. At least they die a warrior's death," he utters and flies back down to fire his second concussion missile at the phalanx gun.

Meanwhile, Crapshoot is still standing there, attempting to avoid being hit by the gun. Suddenly an idea dawns upon him. He quickly tries to hit the floor, and a missile fires just overhead of him. "Hey! Craps, I'm back on the boa---*BOOM*" Blackjack just pulled himself out of the water, to take another missile and go flying back out into the ocean. Crapshoot is somewhat ignorant of this and leaps back onto his feet and pointing his scatterblaster at the turret. "AHA! GOT YO--*BOOM*" The turret fires another missile, which explodes and sends Crapshoot flying into the ocean, landing next to the surfacing Blackjack. "YOU IDIOT!" Blackjack calls out, reaching into the water and hauling out Crapshoot.

Divebomb turns towards the next turret as it fires at the Seekers. Thinking, "Well that looks like an inconvience," and ignoring the humans that are scattering across the deck, he levels his rifle at the turret and pulls the trigger. A pulse of energy flies at the turret as Divebomb laughs at the destruction going on around his robot form.

The number of shark drones is really starting to dwindle now. Only about 8 of them remain after all the fire they've taken. They continue to mindlessly attack the Autobot hovercraft, trying to do some measurable damage before they are all destroyed.

Struggling with a turret, Long Haul clubs it with his fist, making him an obvious target for the rocket launcher wielding humans on deck. When they open fire, he is knocked from the UN carrier, though the forced of the turret turning to target another Decepticon is actually what sends the Constructicon into the drink. Oh, no...this could be yet another failure for Long Haul. Though he feels the wet cold of the water, he sees only the torment of unending supply runs. Gasping, he waves his arms franticly, unable to stay afloat. The tides now seem to be turning in the favour of the human forces and their Autobot allies with the mighty Constructicons now defeated and singing beneath the waves. So, is this defeat? Will dreams begin to fade for the starry eyed supply runner?

No. No matter how hard life kicks him down, no matter how impossible his dreams may be, he always rises again...and this time he does it with the aid of his brothers. After struggling at the surface for some time, Long Haul seems to disappear...as if he were sucked away by some terrible current. But no, the reason for his disappearance becomes all to clear as an ominous shadow formulates beneath the waves. Suddenly, a massive purple hand violently breaks the surface, spitting water up into the air. Merciless, it reaches for the Annan and takes hold. It can be the hand of only one robot...Devastator. Hope you say? Even with the arriving reinforcements, the monster rising from the depths does not despair. The war machine that is Devastator only sets to his work, tearing into the vessel the moment he stands on its deck.

Scrapper shouts, "Constructicons, MERGE to form Devastator!"

With a shudder of metal, the Constructicons undergo a stunning transformation and combine into the mighty form of Devastator!

Space Fighter [Cyclonus] comes screaming in from the north, boosters leaving a trail of smoke as he makes a wide arc to survey the battle grounds for his lord. A smile might cross his lips were he in robot mode or one to do such a thing. But as a smile is not useful here, he forgets it and begins to make a wide swing around the now formed Devastator.

Sweep-Craft <Scourge> is so intent on firing on the multi-launchers on the Aircraft Carrier he doesn't notice the rail gun lining up a shot on him. The slug flies true and hits him square in the back, but putting only a medium sized dent in his armor. He manages to turn and fire low yield bursts of thermal energy at the offending gun on the deck of the Destroyer, seeing that Devastator has things......well in hand with regard to the carrier.

Scourge quickly unfolds into his fearsome robot form.

From inside Cyclonus, Galvatron sits cushioned from the wind and water inside Cyclonus, vermillion optics peering at the HUD and the tactical informationthat streams from his XO. Inky fingers rest against various trigger points, simply awaiting the moment in which to utilize the weapon he rides inside. "Cyclonus, execute a flyover, I wish to ascertain the tidal flow of this assault.'

Cyclonus not only comes with air conditioning, wipers, but power steering and dual air-bags."

Earth Defence Command and their Allies: Your turn

The tapes wreak havoc inside the UN Annan, the shockwave destroy the engines and a part of the hull. The aircraft carrier is now tilting on its left. It is now unable to move, crew members and debris fallfrom the bridge where it is now pretty hard to stand. The ship's speakers shout : "To all the crew members leave the ships at once we're about to sink. I repeat leave the ship." All the crew members begin to jump from the bridge. The UN Annan is now doomed, it can't defend himself from the Gestalt. OOC :The UN Annan is now defenseless. KEnya will now be emiting the 5 battleships coming as reinforcement.

Gold hovertruck grumbles out some choice insults about the drones and probable ansestry of whoever built them... The femme continues to attack the remaining drones, aiming at the heads and chests. She doesn't drive by, she also occasionly makes tight turns, stabbing some of the drones as well as slashing them. She grins mentally as she spots the terran backup. oO(We may yet win this battle...) she freezes for a moment as Devestator suddenly 'appears' oO(Or... not... We're in trouble... we are in alot of trouble...) As cyclonus puts in an apperance she mentally ups the 'difficulty' level of the battle again... Revving up her engine, she tries to take out as many of the shark drones as she can, no longer bothering with trying to get them to chase her. oO(All we need now is Galvatron to show up...)

UN Rodney King: Revenant's shot at the bridge manages to short-circuit and disable both the radar and the Aegis anti-missile system. Dirges's missile sends 1 of the 20mm gatling cannon fly in pieces. Divebomb destroys another turret (ON the WHOLE ship. 1 turret left and 1 20mm phalanx gatling cannon). The Phalanx gun keeps trying to shoot down the seekers while the AA battery is temporarily out of order due to the radar being knocked out.

Shockwave's ploy is a good one, as the Terrans refrain from shooting at him as he approaches Rodimus Prime. Sorry, Ollin. Keep that propaganda up and soon the EDC'll shoot blinding without a care for which Machine they blow apart! As a result, the Shrikes are now resorting to blasting away at the Seeker gumbies as a terribly bloody firefight breaks out.

Meanwhile, the reinforcements approach. And lo behold! Exo-Suits are also accompanying the fightings. This'll be a huge problem for those hoping to get away with the 'stay by the ships for protection' clause. Yes...

The 5 battleships are now approaching the battle, they're still not in range but soon (next turn) they will be.

VTOL F-15 <Thrust> arrives from the shores of Rocky Beach.

Sentinel> If ever there was a mech that looked at home in a sea-faring vessel, it would probably be Overload. There's just something about his grizzled features and salty disposition that just makes you want say 'arrrrr, matey.' Never mind the fact he hates water. "Lousy sharks," he grumbles, the sudden hiss of a ruptured gasket punctuating the remark. He slides up beside the Annan, figuring they won't mind in the current situation, and roughly scrapes the side of the hovercraft along the carrier's hull. Any shackdrones still clinging to that side won't be for long.

Within the EDC AF-27 <Archangel Leader>, Michael Briar growls and barks into his radio, "Archangel one, turn to....116 by 342. Converge on Soundwave and nail him. Skip the ship damage, that can be repaired, just get him off the fraggin hull!" The af-27 pair bank towards the Annan spraying water up from their backwash of engine thrust. Targeting Soundwave, both fighters open lower missile bay doors and fire out a few mini-missiles towards soundwave.

Shockwave is approaching and Rodimus is there. Except... that Devastator arrives, and what was a semi-stable deck to stand and fight has suddenly become very unstable. Instead of rushing towards Shockwave, the Chosen One has no other choice but to change targets and tactics. He fires at Shockwave, not trying to hit him but mostly to keep him away and he takes a shot on the shoulder from the Decepticon as he tries to pull back. Sparks fly everywhere. "Scattershot!" Prime shouts, both through his vocalizer and his radio. And then the Autobot Leader picks up his pace and runs up in the air. "Better be there," he mutters under his breath. The situation had turned from bad to worse.

Battlecruiser pulls away from the hordes of sharks, feeling real good about himself. The hordes are contained, the humans are doing suprisingly well against pretty powerful decepticons and the birds are singing. He thinks. He's about to bank around to kill off the last of the sharks but is nearly knocked out of the air by the Purple Hand of Death. "WHAT THE..." but he stops short, realizing the ploy that he and every other Ally here fell for when Scavenger blooped to the bottom. "F me in the A..." he utters and catches Rodimus off of the flightdeck in one of the more acrobatic moves he ever participated. Coming about, he makes a bee-line for Devastator, immediately going to the EMP emitter in his nosecone. The charge is only 50%, but it's enough to get things started against His Limeness.

Decepticon Forces: Your turn

Motormaster's cab splits, his body rising up out of his 18-wheeler form.

Motormaster pumps his fist triumphantly when the fleshlings all bail from the bridge of the aircraft carrier, leaving him alone there. Plowing his way to the bridge command center, letting no walls survive the brutality of his fists, Moto declares to himself, "Claim this ship for the Stunticons!" He kicks a few controls, attempting to operate the aircraft carrier somehow, despite it's obvious listing. "Yeah! Where's that next fleshling ship. RAMMING SPEED!" The small number of troops following the Military XO to the bridge look at each other in bewilderment. Of course he doesn't notice the ship isn't moving, he ain't a sailor.

Divebomb cackles with glee as another turret falls. Hearing the Phalanx gun firing, Divebomb smiles at the thought of another target. Taking minor note to the humans on deck, he fires his rifle at them as he charges at the Phanlanx gun. With a leap, sun glinting off his blade and his orange and black body, the Predacon comes down hard onto the deck, slamming his sword into the gun.

Soundwave lights on the flight deck -just- as Devastator moves the ship. Rocking as the ship begins to list, he turns back toward the opening. "Rumble.. Frenzy.. return. Operation com.." *boom* he staggers forward to one knee as the mini-missiles from Archangel Squadron impact on his back and all around him.. "..complete," he finishes. As the tapes return to him, he puts them safely away in his chest compartment and aims his missile launcher at Briar. After a brief moment of careful aim, he fires, letting the missile do the rest of the work. Loudly and with all the power that his sonic manipulations can muster he emits for most everyone to here: "Warning.. Terran reinforcements approaching." He takes to the air again, getting away from the smash-fest that has become the Annan.

Shockwave wobbles as Devastator grabs hold of the carrier, nearly falling over as the deck lurches. This saves him from the energy bolt Rodimus sends at him, though he can't mount any kind of considerable offense. "Devastator!" he intones. "Begin hauling the carrier towards the islands!" He takes a hard look at the incoming enemy forces, before transforming back to cannon mode, soaring into the air and locking onto one of the Archangels. "Die," he says coldly to himself, unleashing a searing X-Ray laser beam.

Shockwave leaps up and transforms into his imposing space-cannon mode.

Shade frowns as she watches the Autobot and Terran reinforcements rush into play. She pauses for a moment more before getting an idea as she spots the EDC fighter wing. "Plenty of room to hide in there." There is a brief shimmering and then the image of an aerospace fighter flickers into being around her. "When you can't beat 'em..." The aerospace fighter dives downwards behind the rest of the wing, slowly pulling into formation. Since the radio jamming is still going on, a joining pilot could hardly be expected to signal over radio, so hopefully the terran pilots will just assume this is a late-to-the-fight pilot.

"What I do!?" shouts Crapshoot as he gets hauled to the surface by the stronger Blackjack. "Just shut up, you goof!" curses Blackjack. He and Crapshoot tread water when they suddenly look around. The water is frothing. Why is the water frothing? A rumble beneath them sounds and suddenly, Crapshoot grabs onto Blackjack. "I'm too EVIL to die!" shouts Crapshoot. "Let go of me, you stupid idiot!" shouts Blackjack. The two are separated by a large hand that shoots into the air, launching them both into the air. "AHHHHHHHHHH!" they both call out.

"Stop fooling around, fools," shouts Dirge as he meets them in the air. "Transform! If my chronometer has not been damaged, Thrust should be here any astrosecond...." Dirge himself transforms into his aerial form. The two gumby Seekers do the same and all three launch into the air for the USS Rodney King. "Thrust!" calls out Dirge as his brother in cones joins him in the battle. "All of you, concentrate your firepower on the hull! I'll continue to handle the DEFENSES...." And with that, Dirge breaks away from the three Seekers as Crapshoot and Blackjack bank downwards and open fire on the hull with all their firepower. And y'know, even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while. Crapshoot manages to land a few blows. Dirge himself flies above the ship's defenses as a distraction. "FEEL THE TOUCH OF FEAR, HUMANS!" he calls out, letting loose his fear engines frequency on the defenses in order to scramble them.

Scourge dives down toward the nearly crippled destroyer, summoning his energy-scythe from subspace. He skims along the surface of the water, digging the energy blade into the hull of the King below the waterline.

Space Fighter [Cyclonus] follows his lord's orders and banks hard right as he takes another loop around battlefield to get complete details of the goings on.

Devastator steadies himself on the deck of the doomed air craft carrier. "PREPARE FOR DESTRUCTION." he announces in a loud booming voice that causes the very hull of the ship to shudder. His giant cannon is held steadilly, even with the ship lurching like a drunk sailor. The cannon is aimed right for the Autobot's hovercraft as it scrapes along the hull of the ship. At nearly point blank range he lets loose the mighty barrage from his cannon upon it. Devastator turns towards the incoming Battlecruiser, but isn't nearly fast enough to fire upon him before getting his square in the chest with the EMP blast. Devastator freezes there, unmoving, a colosus of no more use then the origional one.

Flying high Revenant sweeps the area for prey, noting the arrival of more of those pathetic floating chunks of metal, he also spies the Autobot craft, finally after some consideration he chooses his prey. An obvious one really and a prey that should test his skills somewhat, angling for an attack he dives towards the flying Autobot once in range he blasts away with his autocannon turrets, it is time Scattershot learnt why the Decepticons rule the skies.

As loud as can be, Thrust booms in, his engines blaring. Blasting forwards as fast as possible, he spots his fellow lunkhead- er, Seekers. He decelerates, transforms, and hovers slightly higher than the two others. "Well if it ain't my two favoritest cousins. What kind of mess did you get us in this time?" His voice is hearty and joking, seemingly oblivious of the firefight ensuing.

From inside Cyclonus, Galvatron focuses his attention on Devestator for but a brief moment, noting the damage that has already been delt out. Narrowing his optics, he catches sight of Shockwave atop one of the wounded vessels and a smile creases his countenance. "Cyclonus, it would seem that aerial assistance is needed, take out those flying vermin!"

Earth Defence Command and their Allies: Your turn

UN Rodney King: Divebomb manages to dispose of the last phalanx gun leaving the ship totally defenseless. Some crewmen are already trying to abandon ship. Scourge flies by slicing into the hull not a big a hole but a hole nonetheless which was all that was needed as the seekers concentrated firepower hit the opening, essentially shredding it open. Water starts pouring into the 'King' and it is pouring fast. (If any are still on the deck the ship is starting to bank to the right roughly 20 degrees (for this turn). After that hit the King is officially lost, people are abandonning it. It is only a matter of time before the helpless ship capsizes and sinks.

The Shrikes and Exo-Suit reinforcements finally get into range. Whereas before there was two vessel's worth of EDC combat units in the air, now there are those plus five more. A massive wave of Shrikes bore down on the Annun containing Motormaster, Soundwave, Divebomb and the Devastator - including Devy's two passengers - letting loose with approximately fifty bursts from their laser gun fire. As they pull up, several of them drop bombs in an attempt to destroy what is no longer theirs. A squadron of twelve of the heavier AF-27s lock onto Dirge and Thrust, firing off their long ranged heat seeking missiles. Revenant will find that ruling the skies isn't that easy as a trio of Shrikes fire madly in his direction, trying in vain not to catch Scattershot in the blasts as well. The Exo-Suits attempt to engage Shockwave since they have the best chance of not hitting Rodimus as well. Plasma beams lance out towards the purple one. Even Cyclonus gets targetted by several of the AF-27 missiles.

Within the EDC AF-27 <Archangel Leader>, Michael Briar blinks and screams out, "Angel, evade!" He pulls to the side and away as the missile starts to track him. "Oh no you don't." He hits a switch as 2 silver balls pop out the leaders back. The each explode in a pop sending silver shards floating in the air. The missile streaks up and explodes against its new target, leaving Michael unharmed. He looks behind him and sees an AF-27 appear, "Good, AF-27, get down into the fight, you're not much good at my wing." He pulls hard back towards the fight. Woh! Bigger target, ok, this time Michael 'won't' use his fighter as a green gestalt lawn dart. Instead he lines up his targeting HUD and fires off a blaze of laser fire raking across the sky at the gestalt.

The 5 battleships arrives on the battleship with the /huge/ UN Mandela in the middle of them. It's the finest of the EDC Fleet, equiped with powerful energy shields and very powerful proto-cannons. The battleships begin to cannon the flying Decepticons while the UN Mandela directs its all mighty weapons towards the green Behemot.

Sentinel> The violent storm of energy unleashed on the hovercraft strips it's dorsal frame of any last shreds of armor, vaporizing steel, circuitry and finally water as it punches clean through to the ocean. The last vestiges of structural support give out with a sharp snap, and the vessel folds in half, fore and aft both slipping slowly beneath the waves. Overload sits in the command chair, staring behind him in shocked silence where a few seconds ago there used to be walls and a floor. "Oh slag..." The Annan is sinking, the Sentinel is sinking... Overload is going for a swim.

"Good job, Scattershot," Rodimus says as he rides Scattershot like a surf board. He raises his photon eliminator rifle and goes for the highest setting, aiming at the behemoth's head and part of the torso. Devastator had to be brought down, fast, if there was any hope to turn the tide of the battle. Then the realization hits him that Overload was now trapped in the Sentinel, as the Annan was going down as well. "Damn it, Overload is still in there."

Gold hovertruck freezes as she see's the shot racing towards the hovercraft... oO(This is probably a bad time to be right next to it...) "LOAD! Incoming!" She gets as close to the exit ramp as she can... hoping that Overload can get out in time... granted... The plan DOES backfire when the shot hits and the craft snaps in half with an impressive spray of shrapnel... Reversing as best she can, one of the larger peices of shrapnel stikes the femme and sneds her rollng for a moment or two, the femme manages, by the same fluke that allows Transformers to drive on water with water skis, to catch herself and race back towards teh direction of the rapidly sinking hovercargo, dispite the shrapnel that peppers her form. "Load!" oO(Okay, update to plan, get Load out of there, then try and help the others take out Devestator... Now clue HOW to do so, but...) "Load, come on, get out of there!!"

Motormaster, noticing the ship beneath him start to move, starts to congratulate the nearby grunts. "We're moving, good, now RAMMING SPEED!!" he shouts at them once more. But, this isn't right... "Damn you incompetent worthless wastes of ground vehicles! We're going backwards! You should have been seekers!! Forward! FORWARD!!" He smacks the nearest grunt. It is then the EDC exos start to appear near the bridge and charge like angry pests towards the Decepticon bridge crew. "Repel the boarders! This ship is mine!" Motormaster draws his claymore from its mounting, and starts swinging with little finesse (but plenty of sheer brute force) at the EDC intruders.

Battlecruiser is agreeing with Rodimus' power assessment and charges his EMP emitter to it's maximum setting as pretty red particles swirl around the tip of the nosecone, implode on that same tip and spew out violently from charged energon in the shaft behind it. Scattershot is well aware of the sweepcraft behind him, but because he is still in the air after taking a few laser shots to his aft-section, he's pretty sure it's not Scourge and therefore can afford to continue to ignore him for the moment. "Rodimus, HUG ME!" He gives the leader a second to comply, then nosedives towarding the capsizing Sentinel so Rodimus can set up shop for Overload.

EDC AF-27 <Archangel Leader> doesn't respond to Briar's orders, but instead simply forms up directly behind and above the other fighter. Either the pilot can't hear Briar over the static or... the truth suddenly becomes evident. With a sadistic cackle of glee, the fighter flickers out of existence to reveal a fully transformed Insecticon spider which leaps forward at Briar's fighter, mandibles extended to sink into the fuselage of the terran craft. "It's dinnertime!" she yells as she pounces. All eight legs are spread out to take a hold of the aircraft, so unless a miracle occurs, there's going to be an unexpected passenger in just a second or two.

EDC AF-27 <Archangel Leader> fades from view.

Shade's form twists and fluctuates until it reaches the form of a twenty foot mechanical spider.

Space Fighter [Cyclonus] snarls out a, "Yes my lord" as the lust for battle takes over for but an instant. His military mind quickly regains control of his body, and he banks towards where Shockwave is positioned, foward cannons comming online and powering up. Small bubbles of red energy seem to build up in the barrels of the weapons as he takes aim at the closest of the EDC's attempt at a resistance force in the skies. The humorous thought crosses his mind as to how this rabble of lifeless flight machines are supposed to stand up to the superior prowess and intellect of the Decepticon forces. Those that are built to fight in this arena. He banks right, then falls into a barrel roll as he dodges a few missiles, finally lining up his shots and letting the bubbles of energy reform themselves into deadly lances of energy, blowing up the two closest incomming missiles. As he begins the calculations to shoot the next two, some quick maneuvering is required to keep himself from the receiving end of the EDC's missiles. As he rolls over a pair, they explode, and his course of flight is immediately changed. His mind goes from attempting to concentrate on flying and firing to just flying. "Galvatron, take the firing controls" he calls to his passenger.

Flying Cannon <Shockwave> runs the gauntlet of swarming Exo-Suits, leaving several smoking plates of armor as the beams claw at him. Futilely, though, his gunform weaving a crazy path along the listing deck of the Annan, barely two meters above it as Motormaster comes barrelling along in his wake. Shockwave's sights are set on bigger prey, as he locks onto Scattershot and Rodimus. "Go fish," he intones in annoyance, and cuts loose with a tremendous blast of quantum energy.

Soundwave is in the air and moving rapidly away from the shell of a carrier that is the UN Annan. Missiles and gunfire streak around him, and some of the guns find their target, opening small wounds/holes in his armor. The missiles explode around him, but he is too low and too small for them to effectively target. Splash damage is not so kind though, as some of the explosions disrupt his jets, threatening to send him into the briny deep. Recovering from his potential splashdown, he skids to a halt. He drops his jamming field -- I will repeat that as it bears repeating: HE DROPS HIS JAMMING FIELD. As the static clears, the radio waves across -all- bands are filled with the dischordant, hollow laughter of Soundwave, its sound echoing and rebounding as if it were alive.

Modified F-15 <Dirge> flies through the air, pulling up and calling for the three to rejoin him. Suddenly, heat seekers are targetting the group. "Damn those flesh creatures! Thrust.... Collision maneuver! Crapshoot, Blackjack! You two get the squadron to begin hauling the ship back to shore! You two know how to ditch heat seekers. Thrust. Full burn." And with that, Dirge fires his engines and begins to pull forward, creating a larger heat signature for the missiles to lock onto.

"ROGER!" call the pair, and they both cut their engines, and pull downwards and away. "Seeker squadron, meet up with us," calls out Blackjack. Crapshoot and Blackjack meet up in mid air with unmentionable Seekers such as Slots, Roulette and SnakeEyes, in honor of Oblique's rampaging addiction. They group make a pass over the ship and Blackjack shouts, "FIRE GRAPPLERS!" All five Seekers fire their grapplers, hooking the ship in their attempts to pull it to shore. Hopefully this works.

In the air, Dirge flies around and heads towards Thrust, who's hopefully leading his own missile along. "Trade you, Thrust!" he calls out and turns to he's horizontal, flying past Thrust in an attempt to make the group of heat seekers collide.

Soundwave takes THIS AREA HAS BEEN JAMMED!.

Sweepcraft [Revenant] is a little bemused by the antics between Scattershot and Rodimus also he now has some pesky little gnats trying to distract him, cutting his engines to virtualll no welocity he allows the human Shrikes to over fly him them dealt with he repowers his engine and aims once more for the Scattimus composite, hardly a dignified way for a leader to act but then he is an Autobot. A volley of purple energy beams course down towards the prey.

Within the EDC AF-27 <Archangel Leader>, Michael Briar gets the thump and the screeching saying from the spider lady. "What the fu*k?!" He looks back and says, "Hey! No riders!" Michael pulls his fighter into a spin, but only manages to bank the fighter, the added weight keeping him from rolling. "I knew this was a bad idea..." He frowns as he looks forward and increases speed, mach 1 *BOOM!*, mach 2, *BOOOOM!*....if this does not get the pest off his body, then nothing will.

From inside Cyclonus, Galvatron raises a fist to shake it at the craft that disturbed his smooth ride. With a nasty glare, he focuses on the weapons array, calling up the hardline into Cyclonus' sensory systems to feed into the HUD for tactical position on the incoming. Steadying his grip on the weapons controller, he thumbs the release catch, lining up a scatter barrage of laser fire in order to clear the plotted flight path. His attention shifts focus, a diabolic shining of unholy glee twisting his features into a malevolent mask of hate for those that dare to threaten his forces in the skies. "Die in flames, humans.." he growls as he sends his seconds weapons fire streaking across the void between them and the enemy.

<Earth> Soundwave laughs. This sound can be heard everywhere for miles and miles from Australia, from appliances that don't even have speakers. The sound echoes throughout the radio spectrum and then fades, leaving a lingering feeling that all is not well with the world.

Divebomb balances himself as the ship lurches and begins taking on water. Looking at the destruction and seeing the humans jump ship disgusts him. He turns back to the crippled Phalanx gun. "Well, this could be a nice addition to the nest..." and putting away his sword, reaches down and takes hold of the not so mangled part of the Phalanx gun. "Hmm maybe Scrapper can help me with this, at any rate it'll make a great trophy..." Then a barrage of laser fire showers Divebomb and the area surrounding him. Stunned momentarily, but moreso, enraged at the blasting of his prize. With an angry shout, he jumps into the air, transforming in midleap and slamming headlong into the first Shrike. "You'll be my new prize!"

Scourge jets back up into the air rapidly, replacing his scythe into subspace and transforming again. As the seekers attach their grappling hooks to the king Scourge gives them cover. His laser ports filling the sky with streaks of energy directed toward the inferior human aircraft. Trying to ensure that none interfere with the taking of the ships.

Scourge leaps into the air and quickly folds into his sweep-craft mode.

VTOL F-15 <Thrust> quickly transforms back to his jet (which his player was too lazy to remember to tranform him codewise at all anyways) as soon as he hears word of Drige's request. "Yea yea, heat seekers." He roars up his engines to maximus burn. "Been there done that." The air rattles with a thunder like sound as he attempts to lead away the rocket in much the same manner as Dirge. "That conversation with Crappyshot and Black-whatsisface was getting boring anyways." He loops around, trying to mae the heated area as large as possible. "Oh yea, I'll trade. Gotta catch 'em all, ya know." He crosses Dirge's line of flight creating an aerial ballet. I can just hear Nutcracker Suite playing in the background.

*BOOM* goes the missiles as the collide in mid air, the Seeker coneheads regrouping with the towing group.;

The monolith of purple and green, like all Constructicons, lacks the grace attributed to the Decepticon aerial warriors. But that is putting it gently...he is flat out big, stupid, and slow. Having already been immobilized by an EMP, the Constructicon gestalt has no hope of avoid the onslaught of hellfire that is being sent his way courtesy of the responding EDC ships. The first of the bolts strike Devastator square in the chest, ripping into expansive purple chest protector. Fortunately, this rouses the monster, freeing him from the effects of the earlier attack. Massive green limbs rise in defence, shielding the following blasts, though with sever consequences. Streaks of black are left marring what was once seemingly impenetrable armour. But wait, the assault...this apocalyptic storm...has yet to finish as Devastator has yet to suffer the wraith of Scattershot. This blast does not immobilize the Constructicon super warrior entirely...though one of his arms is locked in place across his broad chest. This is enough it seems as Devastator finally leaps into action...literally...as he complies with Shockwave's orders. During his passage through the air, the operational arm comes down at the Technobot commander, hoping to take him out of the air. However, Scattershot is not the Constructicon's only target. The water waiting beneath him is also among his intended victims...and he is sure not to miss. In fact, he can't. His truck like legs defile the water's surface once again, Devastator brings that massive fist down, hoping to disturb the coming ships as best he can.

Then by all means: EDC and Autobot Forces: Your turn

The EDC Exo-Suits continue to swarm Shockwave in an attempt to help Rodimus Prime out. The powerful plasma beams scream loudly as they streak through the air towards their purple flying cannon of a target. A few Shrikes try to fight off Dirge's crew as they grapple onto the King. They aren't doing much to help, though. The AF-27s that were harassing Cyclonus are quickly shattered by Galvatron's precising care of Cyclonus's weaponry.

The tidalwave created by Devastator hitting the ocean's surface is huge and travels right towards the UN Mandela and the five battleship. They do not sink but they are scattered around and they are now pretty far from the Decepticons. They can't intercept Devastator anymore but they fire with all their weapons towards the Seekers.

Remember when Michael posed before his turn? Let's get a recap then, just to be sure. Michael hears the thump and the screeching saying from the spider lady. Well, nothing except cranking the speed up a bit more.

As much as he hates to do it, Overload scrambles out of the Sentinel and grabs onto Sheng before he's swallowed beneath the waves. The water seems unnaturally dark as the last remains of the hovercraft are pulled below.

Rodimus does as instructed by the Technobot leader and hugs close to the battlecruiser's frame. As they get closer to Overload and now the newly arrived Sheng, Rodimus raises up so that he can extend himself and grab Overload. However... that doesn't happens. Just as he was doing this Shockwave's blast hits him, and hits him hard ripping him away from Scattershot and sending him flying and then landing on the ocean with a loud splash... And thus, Rodimus Prime disappears under the waves.

Battlecruiser cheers at his second consecutive strike on Devastator, but begins to waver in the nosedive as the Sweep craft continues his assault on Scattershot's hind quarters. "Yo, SHRIKES! I could use some help back here!", he calls and makes his run towards Overload. A moment later, Rodimus is blasted clear off his frame while the Technobot Commander catches some of the blast for his own fun. As he fights to stay in the air he makes a snap decision to try a short, tight loop to get another shot at Overload -- but Devastator's arm disagrees, smashing him clear into the banks by the coast. Scattershot had no chance to do anything but crash there, smoking, charred and would have been ablaze were it not for the water he skipped through on his way in.

Gold hovertruck curses as she spots Scattershot and Rodimus racing in their direction... even harsher when Rodimus gets struck. As soon as Overload is on board she races in the direction that he went under dropping as low as she can... "Load can you grab him before he sinks too deep?" the femme's optics would widen if she had them in this mode as the wave races towards them... She stays put and as low as she can manage until the last moment... hopefully Rodimus has been saved, but if not... too late now! The femme gets as high above the water as she can manage, attempting to ride the massive wave. "HOLD TIGHT!" she snaps, doing her best to NOT get overturned... oO(Oh well, at least Scatter won't sink, that's one good thing...)

Decepticon Forces: Your turn

Mechanical Spider cackles as her mandibles and legs dig into the jet fuselage. Lucky for her too as Briar whips into an acrobatic frenzy to get her off. The Insecticon clings tight through the first set of manuevers, but then Briar decides to just pour on the afterburners. Shade cries out in frustration as, despite all her best efforts to cling to the hull of the aircraft, she begins to slip backwards with the suddenly increased airflow. In just a few moments she realizes she won't be able to hang on much longer and hatches a plan. Glancing backwards, she spots the tail fins of the jet. She pauses a moment to gauge the distance, and then lets go of the jet's fuselage. She quickly flips backwards toward the tail-end of the craft, but as she goes, all eight legs reach outward for the vertical stabilizer (ya know that part of the tail that goes straight up?). There is the painful sound of metal shrieking as it is literally shredded apart by forces it wasn't designed to withstand, then the jet is free, rocketing off minus a tail fin. If Briar is a good pilot he should be able to fly still, but his acrobatics are over for now. Long and wide turns will be all he can manage without throwing the plane into bad rolls until it gets repaired. In the meantime Shade pulls upwards with her trophy. "Meals on wheels, I like my food to go!" she snickers to herself as she distances herself from the terran craft.

Motormaster returns back to the control center once all the Exos have been routed, or handled by Shockwave. Greeting him are a pair of his Stunticons trying to get the ship moving forward as Moto commanded. Drags scratches his head, peering at the controls. "Ey, boss! How fuckin' fast is a knot? Which is port and which is starboard?" Moto starts to ponder this, but it only makes his neural net hurt. "FORWARD!! That way!!" He slams his semi-cab foot into the controls in anger, lashing out at the carrier instead of smacking the hell out of a Stunt. Drags chuckles amusedly, "Don't think its going forward now, boss." The Stunts suddenly realize that water is starting to gather at their feet, and rising faster than it should. "Ey boss, did you call for deeper? Cause that's where we're headed." Motormaster curses the damned universe and how it always spoils their fun. "Take to the air, abandoned ship!" And so the bridge is cleared, Motormaster and his lackeys taking to the air.

From inside Cyclonus, Galvatron watches the HUD display as incoming fire causes the craft he is in to veer sharply, giving him full sight of the seeker squadron towing the prize to safety. "yes.. we have it.." he rasps, optics narrowing, figer hovering over the fireing button. He visibly restrains his gut reaction to continue sowing chaos, reigning in the rising blind haze of violence in order to broadcast a message over the local airwaves, "Decepticons we have what we came for! Withdraw at once!" His voice pitches to Cyclonus, "Cover the ships exodus. Let the damned Autobots sink or swim, I care not.'

Divebomb slams into the Shrike and grabs hold with his talons, rending it with his beak all the while. Shifting his weight in midcrash, he turns it upside down and pushes with all his might. Divebomb emits a shrill eagle screech as he watches the Shrike plummet to the ocean surface. He angles his black wings so as to gain altitude and swoop upwards. Glancing around the air battle taking place above the chaos in the water he spies one of the Archangel fighters pass in front of him. Charging in an intercept course, the eagle swoops and hits the top of the craft and begins to rend metal with his beak and talons.

<Decepticon> Galvatron comes across, in case you missed it inthe spam, "Decepticons, we have what we came for! Withdraw at once!"

Soundwave is, surprisingly enough, left alone. Taking this brief respite from barrage-fire from the Shrikes, he lifts up into the air and begins firing concentrated plasma blasts at the EDC Exo-Suits that are harassing Shockwave. With the precision of a surgeon at work he fires, and after three or four volleys, begins flying back toward the contingent of Seekers in the hopes that they can provide more cover for him than can the open ocean as the Decepticons retreat..

Flying Cannon <Shockwave> transforms, blasting his way free of the Exo-Suits... smashing one aside with a massive fist and hammering another with a maser burst as he rockets clear... boot jets firing as he soars away from the EDC and Autobot forces, armor smoking but unbreached. "Highly efficient, Soundwave," he intones.

Shockwave rapidly transforms from space-cannon to robot mode.

Space Fighter [Cyclonus] says, "Yes my lord," as he banks around dodging incomming rockets and laser blasts as he moves to take up a rear position to cover the withdrawl of the ships and troops. He makes sure to take a few shots at any of the Automated Robots that want to get in his way, but beyond that just does his best to shoot down missiles and take out any weapons placements that will cause problems for the retreat.

Mechanical Spider doesn't change what she is doing, but just continues to rocket upwards with her trophy. Lucky for her that her pose already had her pulling away since she missed the o-d chat that said we were retreating this round. Phew.

Modified F-15 <Dirge> flies back around and joins up with Thrust. "You heard Galvatron," emits the Seeker. "Let's link up with Maverick Squadron and get back to New Zealand." The Seeker flies over the ship, turns around and flies back to meet up with the rest of the group. They are somewhat defenseless in their towing attempts, so Dirge fires a few strafing blasts, and then fires his own grappler and attaching onto the ship and beginning towing as well. "PULL, YOU SLAG HEAPS. PULL."

Seeing his prey swatted into the ground by Devestator, Revenant turns his attention back to the gnats powering his engines to engage them he allows his auto tracking to draw a bead on the numerous Shrikes that are busy flitting about and being a nuisance, he opens fire with his autocannon turrets intent on clearing the air somewhat so the Decepticons below have an easier time towing away the trophies. Still not a single word has been uttered by this silent proficient Huntsman as he moves to cover the retreat.

Soundwave lands on what's left of the ship as the Seekers tow it away..

VTOL F-15 <Thrust> snickers with glee as the rockets burst. As soon as that's done, he has to do something else. "Dirge, you're running me around like a house maid." But he doesn't really argue all that much. With an extreme burst of his engines, he blasts off along, following dirge. He shoots out a tow cable which latches on to the ship. "I think this ship could use a little Jenny Craig..

After creating that epic splash, Devastator turns amidst the rising bubbles to their prize, the Annan, only to find it is now sinking into the mysterious fathoms below. Still, concern and surprise never make their way to the unreadable visage of the hulking super warriors. Disappearing beneath the waves in a manner which could be described as "peaceful", at least when compared with his entry into the waters, the Constructicon gestalt sinks with the vessel. It is not like Devastator has much of a choice. It was stated earlier that grace was not one of his strong suits...swimming isn't either. But staying with the sinking Annan, Devastator sinks his fingers into the hull, or at least what is left of it, and holds it close.

Earth Defence Command and their Allies: Your turn

Battlecruiser has been shot several times and crushed by the Purple Hand of Death, so can only fizzle and spark a little bit on the edge of the coast. Wow, that's easy.

Overload remains in his less than dignified position, clinging to Sheng (in hovertruck mode) for fear of falling off and sinking. "This don't count as a hug, and it don't mean I like ya," he grumbles, sure the femme is somehow enjoying this.

The Terran fleet has been hit by the Deviwave, and has been scattered apart. The Battlecruisers slowly begin to recall their fighter squadrons. The total damage taken by the EDC this battle: Two vessels out of approximately fourty + fighters and Exo-Suits. The massive UN Mendela slowly receives wounded aerospace and Shrike fighters as the Decepticons flee.

Within the EDC AF-27 <Archangel Leader>, Michael Briar trembles, actually it's his fighter that shakes. He looks back swaring like a salor before he says, "I've got to go in for repairs..." He gets in line with the rest of the fighters to land.

Rodimus continues to sink, as there isn't much he can do to change that. He doesn't make a good flotation device as it is. However as he spots the sinking body of Devastator, the Autobot Leader frowns darkly and shifts his body mass as to try and sink while moving closer towards the Decepticon gestalt. The trick seems to work and as he reaches Devastator, Prime transforms. Fire comes out from the smokestacks as the RV propels itself using Devastator's body as a ramp and maybe giving it one last hit on the face as the Autobot leader shoots out of the water. In his Flaming RV mode, he can fly, so Rodimus turns around and changes course. For now, there isn't much more he can do regarding the Decepticons... For now.

Gold hovertruck doesn't answer at first as she's still waiting for the wave to 'settle' a bit so she can move forward. After a few minutes the sea is relativly flat again and she races forward at top speed, she passes the area where Rodimus sank from view and mentally marks the area as best she can... or at least how far it is from the coast... she slows as she realises that th Decepticons are retreating... WITH the 'spoils' they cam for... and as far as she can tell, once Devestator reaches the bottom, he's just going to walk to the Decepticon base with the remains of the Annan. "Smeg it... They got the supplies they were after again... Taking out the satalites and this..." she trails off, quickly coming up with the most probable reason for all of this. "Smeg it all to the pits... ...Yes Overload, we all know you hate me..." she mutters in a casual tone, obviously not meaning it... She blinks as Rodimus, or more actuattly a flying RV appears... "Well... that's an interesting trick... I wonder how he does it..."

Devastator dissapears beneath the waves, hugging the hulking mammoth to himself as he goes down. No, he's not hugging himself, he's hugging the /other/ hulking mammoth formerly known as the Annan. Together they dissapear from view, the useless sunk wreck of a ship, and the almost useless gestalt.

Decepticon Forces: Your turn

Seekers et all fly in the direction of New Zealand with their bounty. God, its good to be a Decepticon. "Excellent work, Decepticons," he calls out to his Seeker squadron.

Divebomb realizing through his battle rage that his fellow Decepticons are retr...advancing to the rear, quickly transforms brandishing his sword. Sunlight shines as the sword stroke cuts through, severing the already damaged fighter. With his free hand, Divebomb grabs hold of the wing of Archangel 3, ignoring the rest as it plummets to the sea and follows his comrades.

VTOL F-15 <Thrust> is a Seeker, so he flies out to. Ain't that spiffy.

Soundwave stands on the deck of the towed destroyer, gazing off into the distance at the remains of the battle.

Sweep-Craft <Scourge> forms up on Cyclonus' wing as the Decepticon forces move back toward New Zealand.

Shockwave rockets along in the van with several other Decepticons, his armor smouldering a bit still. Seeing the destroyer at least under tow, he nods, soaring down to land on it next to Soundwave. "It is most helpful when the EDC delivers supplies to our doorstep... even if we must fight them for it."

Gold hovertruck says, "Well... better go catch him before he sinks again..."

From inside Cyclonus, Galvatron contents himself with fireing off Cyclonus' systems as covering shots for the rapidly dissipating assault force of Decepticons. The only betrayel of his desire to vent forth the wrath of the mighty is a slight shifting of shades inhis optics as he grows silent.

As the human forces either retreat or limp back for repairs Revenant boosts his speed and quickly forms up with Scourge and Cyclonus.

Space Fighter [Cyclonus] continues to provide cover fire as he watches Devy sink, but knows that the gestalt can handle themselves... when required. As Scourge forms up on his wing, he banks around and heads back to base.

Mechanical Spider streaks off into the sky behind the rest of the cons, her jets blazing, and her legs wrapped around the severed tail fin. "Let's all go to the kitchen... let's all go to the kitchen... let's all go to the kitchen... and have ourselves a snack!" she sings as she goes.

Motormaster starts towards the island of New Zealand with the rest of the Decepticon forces, watching his recently beloved aircraft carrier go down in an intimate embrace with Devastator. Were enerbeer to come in cans, Moto would choose this moment to hurl one at the stupid Behemoth's head for drowning his new toy. As it were, he simply glares evil thoughts during the retreat.

Soundwave turns to look at Shockwave, his gaze acknowledging an affirmative. He looks back toward the smoke, fire, and airborne debris.
