Here's our newest additions...
Sally (the one on the left) and Daisy (the one on the right) are both due to kid around the end of this month. (May)
Lucy is in the center.
They are all purebred Nubian dairy goats.

They have been an experience, to say the least!  We picked them up on April 19th and they were all pretty "wild."  The dairyman we bought them from never handled them much and they were not "people friendly" at all.  They were going to be used for milking only, not as any "homestead pets."
Within the month that we've had them, they have really came around though!
We have been training them all to get up on a milking stand, we have trimmed all of their hooves and they are now standing still for us to catch them (instead of running away from us!)  Everyday we go out and hook up lead ropes to them to move them out to areas for them to clear the brush.  They still are alittle "shy" at approaching us but they do slowly come to us, sometimes.  :-)
We have prepared all of the necessary supplies for when they do freshen (in case we have to assist their deliveries.)  Now we are just awaiting the arrival of their kids.  :-)
Once they are born, I will post some pictures of them too.
