My Story (And I'm sticking to It):

Sports I sucked at:

Baseball

Little League from T-Ball through 2 years of Intermountain (pitching machine) through 4 years in the Minor Leauges (no, I never made Majors) and Babe Ruth Baseball. Two of those years (first year in Minors and only year in Babe Ruth) I went hitless...for the entire year. I didn't suck horribly by my last Minor League year, but I was 12 years old by then. I did win 2 championships, 1 I deserved (team MVP in my last minor league year) and 1 I didn't (my hitless first year in the minors).

Basketball

Sucked for 1 year in 6th grade of elementary school (silver team of course, not gold level) and sucked again in 2 years of Intermural Rec Center Leagues. Ok, once again I was considered good for my level in my last year there, but that only means that I sucked too bad to make my school's A or B teams.

Things I was actually good at (Believe it or not): Drama, Talent Shows, and Fucked Up Speeches. Despite the fact that I have no discernible talent, I had tons of fun in high school in these 3 areas. My one-man re-enactment of the Tyson-Holyfield "Bite Fight" at my Sophomore year Talent Show stands as my most memorable moment (I was actually congratulated by pretty much the entire school...many of whom didn't know who I was (and my graduating class was only 34)). I also was in 3 plays, starring in one in my Jr. year as well as leading in fucked up skits during my Jr. and Sr. year of Drama class (The Robin Hood: Men in Tights skits were classic...I was the black guy Achoo). Finally, no one could touch me in fucked up speeches. From my 8 minute improv speech on Burning Midgets for Fuel to "How I'd Balance the Budget (aka George Carlin for President)" to my 18 minute epic "Of Course 2Pac's Still Alive" (a 3-5 minute speech...unless it was interesting. I got a standing ovation for taking the last third of class so no one else had to go).

Little Known Fact: The fireworks on the 4th of July are actually to celebrate the half-way point to my birthday (an even 6 months before and after January 4). I was such an arrogant prick as a little kid that I told a lot of people that even though I knew it wasn't true.

Schools I've been to: Not including 2 pre-schools, I've been to: Rozet Elementary (K-6 in Rozet)Twin Spruce Jr. High (7th and in Gillette), Sage Valley Jr. High (8th and 9th in Gillette), Moorcroft High School (10th-12th in Moorcroft), University of Wyoming (Freshman and Sophomore of College, Laramie).

Favorite Grade: Sixth Grade at Rozet Elementary, unquestionably. I was "cool" that year and it was way way fun. My level of nostalgia for this year is at dangerous levels.

Favorite Class: 10th grade Spanish with Mrs. Graham. Mrs. Graham was my all-time favorite teacher until this year for her brutal honesty and sense of humor (most classes degenerated into discussions of her problems with the administration). The class was my first class I liked at Moorcroft and I became friends with just about everyone in there, including some of my best Moorcroft friends Greg and Vince, and maybe my biggest high school crush Anna Goins who I sat in front of. I think I spent 90% of that class with the back to Mrs. Graham talking to Anna.

Songs that bring back the most memories: Dammit by Blink 182 and Nobody Knows by the Tony Rich Project. Nobody Knows for all the intricately laid plans me and Curt made to get girls and Dammit for just about all the rejections I've had since that song came out (I swear I hear it within a day or two even when I try not to listen to it).

First Crush: Natalie Maul in 6th grade. Unquestionably. She was probably as hot as any 8th grader in 6th grade and she flirted with me a ton. I think I still have a complex over not asking her out.

First CD's: After a slew of Garth Brooks CD's, my first CD's were TLC's "CrazySexyCool" and Mariah Carey's "Daydream" (this was in December 1995). The first CD I bought with my own money was "LP" by The Rembrandts (the guys who did "Friends"'s theme song). All 3 rank as A+'s on my ranking lists.

Career Aspiration: To write for Billboard Magazine and for their chart book division. This is officially the most boring tidbit on this page.

Movie I've seen the Most: I think Home Alone had about 20 times before I finally got tired of it. Now I think Baseketball's actually getting close, though I haven't kept track.

Favorite Actors: Morgan Freeman, Kevin Spacey, and Samuel L. Jackson.

Favorite Comedic Actors: Trey Parker, Matt Stone, Dian Bachar (Squeak from Baseketball and Choda Boy from Orgazmo), Jim Carrey, Jason Mewes and Kevin Smith (Jay & Silent Bob)
