Purdue University is just the best university in the world. Now I know that there might be some conflicting opinions about that statement, but this is my homepage and I'll say what I want! So there!

If I had been at Purdue the whole time, I would have finished in 5 years, but with 3 major changes, a year abroad, and 3 semesters away at war, I think I still have an excuse. It's been a crazy ride, that's for sure! I started out in Buiding Construction Management, then went to Organizational Leadership and Supervision (OLS), then Management, the back to OLS. That is what I now have a degree in. I also have earned a minor in French. So I didn't graduate in 4 years..oh well, the Indiana Army National Guard pays all of my tuition!

During my time at Purdue I was a part of the Purdue "All-American" Marching Band. It enhanced my time at Purdue greatly. If you decide to go to Purdue and are in the band, you should seriously consider joining our group. My first year we were 400 members strong and traveled to the Outback Bowl in Florida. During the year I also marched at the Indy 500 parade and on the Indy motor speedway track and at Ohio State University. My second year (2000-2001) we numbered 350 members and went to the Rose Bowl in Pasedena, CA. During the year we went to Michigan State University and the Indy 500 as well as numerous other events. After my year abroad I came back for my 3rd semester of marching band and, even though our team had a struggling year, we still went to El Paso, TX for the Sun Bowl! All of the travel we do is paid for and sometimes we even get a perdiem. Yes, for those of you that are questioning that statement, flights, hotels, etc. are paid for. I have now marched in the Indy 500 parade 4 times and had two other bowl games at the Sun Bowl in El Paso! It is a great opportunity! If you visit the linked site above, you can see pictures from the Rose Bowl and other events. You can also sign up to become a member of the "best damn band in the land!" Check it out!
