My name is Derek, i'm 22, and have lived in Salem, Illinos for most of my life.
For the past five years i've been lucky enough to be with the most wonderful girl ever,Jenny.(Definant points scored there) She is presently pursuing a degree in architecture. She has a cool dog named Kriss who has more personality and character than most people.
I'm presently unemployed thanks to Pulsar Plastics.
I could rant and rave about that shithole all day, so I think i'll make a seperate page altogether for that.
With all this free time my days are mostly spent sitting on my ass, thinking about the great quandaries of life. Why are we here? Who put us here? What happened to Atlantis? Why did Rob Halford of Judis Priest feel the best way to cover up his homosexuality was to dress up as a hardcore biker, and why to some is that now the definition of homosexuality?
As some of you may be wondering i do have some friends. My friends Brent and Aaron recently became truck drivers within the past year. They have had some interesting incounters in their travels, check out their adventures!
My friends Eric Ramsier(Drums) and Shawn Kieth(guitar) whom i've known for many years are in the band Calico System and presently touring the USA. If you haven't seen these guys play, your missing out. Their style of music is distinctly their own. The live show is so full of energy you won't know who to watch. The music has insane rythms and guitar thrashing riffs that will melt your face, and melodic breakdowns that will fully satisfy your sensative side.
