Another crazy box. This beast will hold a 12" Pioneer
sub. This box took forever and a day to build. We made a lot of cardboard
templates for the pieces. Notice the right photo's right hand sides' angle.
Look familiar? It is the same angle as the back of the other box. Pretty crazy huh? All those other angles are so that it'll fit up close to he
shape of his trunk so that we can maximize air volume and minimize wasted
space. The tops of the woofer box and sub box are at the same height
so they flow into one another. The angle of the top of the sub box is that
of the trunk opening.
Here's
that bad boy with the baffle. Look how it is recessed into the box. It's
gonna look real smooth when it is done.

Yep, it does look smooth. Carpeting this beast was a pain in the butt to say the least. The right picture is the backside of the box, even though you won't see it the carpeting looks pretty good considering all the angles and such. We were starting to run low on grey carpet by this time. We only bought 3 yards. Why not cover the baffle with maroon carpet? There is no reason not to and we thought it would look cool so we did it.
BAD ASS!!!

Here's a few pictures off his trunk when we were done. We cut some plywood in the shape of the opening and covered it with the piece of carpet left over from the trunk floor carpet. There was some maroon carpet left over and we thought it would be cool to put some kind of design on the cover. The Dodge logo was decided on. To do that we cut out the logo and positioned it in the center of the the cover. Then with a utility knife we cut out a pentagon piece of grey carpet. After gluing the logo in we cut five triangle pieces of grey carpet to fill the logo's holes. That's it.
