| 1 | 16 oz. package
Deluxe Strawberry Cake Mix, Duncan Hines |
| 1 | 3 oz. package
Instant Vanilla Pudding Mix |
| 1/2 | cup oil |
| 1 | cup water |
| 4 | each eggs |
| 1 | cup confectioners'
sugar |
| 1 1/2 | tablespoons milk |
| 1 | teaspoon oil |
| 1/4 | teaspoon vanilla
extract |
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour tube pan. Blend first five ingredients; beat at medium speed for 2 minutes. Bake 45-55 minutes (check with toothpick). Cool in pan for 25 minutes. Remove from pan and frost when cool, with remaining ingredients blended well. Add a couple of drops of red food coloring to icing, until it is pink color desired. Sift a little confectioners' sugar over top.
Variations: At Christmas time this is pretty decorated with gum drops. For Valentines Day, decorate with tiny red heart- shaped candies and bake in 2-9" heart shaped pans for 25-20 minutes.
