Continental Chicken

Continental Chicken

One of Hugh's favorites.

2 1/4 ounces jar dried beef
8 each boneless chicken breasts
8 slices bacon
1 14 oz. can cond. cream of mushroom soup
8 ounces sour cream
2 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon paprika

Line casserole with dried beef. Wrap a slice of bacon around each chicken breast and place on top of beef. Mix soup, sour cream, flour and black pepper and spread over chicken. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake 2 hours covered and 1 hour uncovered in 300 degree oven.

For crock pot: Bake 4 hours on high or 8 hours on low. (I usually cook this dish in the Crock Pot.)

Serve over hot buttered noodles.
