Breakfast Casserole

12 servings
A sure hit for any home, for the holidays and when company is coming.

 

1 pound fresh pork sausage, hot
2 slices bread, cubed
1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
6 each eggs
2 cups milk
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Brown sausage in skillet and drain. Spread in 9x12 baking dish; top with bread cubes and then cheese. Combine remaining ingredients, beating well and pour over. Bake in 350 degree oven for 45 minutes. This can be prepared the night before, refrigerated, and baked in the morning.

Recipe may be cut in half. Children like it with taco sauce
