Beef Tenders and Gravy

Beef Tenderloin may be substituted with your favorite steak.

 

1 1/2 pounds Beef Tenderloin, sliced in serving pieces
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon margarine
2 cups water
1 10 3/4 ounce can creamy onion soup

Salt and pepper beef tenders. Melt margarine in deep saute pan; add beef tenders and brown on medium. Combine water and soup. Add to beef tenders. Cover tightly and simmer for 1 hour or until tender. Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or egg noodles.
