The Encinitas /Solana Beach Toastmasters club meets every Thursday at 7:00 PM at Villa Encinitas, Second Floor, 504 S. El Camino Real, Encinitas, California. Guest are always welcome. Club Officers:
Congratulations to the following club officers.
By agreeing to help the club in these vital functions, you are not only
helping your fellow toastmasters, but will benefit by quickly developing
leadership and communication skills through increased participation.
The term of office lasts six months, so the next term will begin January
1, 2002. Think about running for a position. Also, if you are
interested in helping the officers, they can have assistants.

The President chairs meetings and supervises all
other officers.
Vice President Education: Jen ___________
The VPE schedules meeting assignments and works with
members to see that they are progressing towards their communication and
leadership goals.
Vice President Membership: Megan ___________
The VPM runs club membership drives and checks the district
talkline (phone number that people interested in joining a Toastmasters
club can call) to recruit new members and also works to keep current members
satisfied so they stay with the club.
Vice President Public Relations: Lory ___________
The VPPR makes sure club meeting listings appear in the
media and publishes a club newsletter.
Secretary: Diana ___________
The Secretary sends correspondence on behalf of the club
and keeps club records and minutes.
Treasurer: Brett ___________
The Treasurer handles financial affairs, such as dues
and purchases.
Sergeant-at-Arms: Lorrie ___________
The Sergeant-at-Arms sets up the meeting room, packs
materials away, and greets guests.
Officer Training: If you are a club officer,
make sure you attend officer training and read your officer handbook (they
will be mailed to the club president once the club charters). A goal
of any Toastmasters club is to have 100% of its officers trained so they
know what they are doing and can better help their club. Points of
