How much did the DMC pipes and COOLHEAD really help?
How much did the COOLHEAD help your bike as far as power? Do you run pump or race gas?
Daniel

For your first question the pipe and cool head helped out a lot. First the pipe helped for gaining horsepower from the lower midrange all the way to the top, while losing only a little on the bottom. That is where the cool head comes in with the 21cc domes it helps bring the bottom back in, while keeping plenty of top end. I still run pump fuel but if I were to put a 19cc -17cc dome in then I would have to run race fuel. The cool head also helps a lot on cooling the motor. When I had the stock head on I'd always boil over, with the cool head I very rarely over heat. As for horsepower on the pipe I would have to say it puts out around 11-15 more HP. I would best describe the pipe as combining a FMF fatty and a Toomey pipe together, because it has low end like a fatty and good top like a toomey.

Can you give me your opinion on a 2 in to 1 carb set up?
Bob

Well it all depends on what kind of mods you have and what kind of power you are looking for. I personaly like the dual carbs. If you dont have a port or big bore or stroked motor then i would just stick with the stock carbs or possibly the 28mm carbs and you can use the 28mm carbs with alot of mods for low end power. Now if you have a lot of mods and want high end power then i would suggest the 32mm or 33 mm carbs. I hope this information has helped you out .
