I just recently got into Septhen King's "Kingdom Hospital" which airs on ABC Wednesdays at 10/9c. King tells the terrifying story of The Kingdom, a hospital with a bizarre population that includes a nearly blind security guard, a nurse who regularly faints at the sight of blood and a paraplegic artist whose recovery is a step beyond miraculous. When patients and staff hear the tortured voice of a little girl crying through the halls, they are dismissive of any suggestion of mysticism or unseen powers … but at their own peril. Check the link above in "Favorite LInks" to visit ABC's Kingdom Hospital Website. This collage is my dedication to Stephen King, and this new installment of his creation.
My next piece of art is in dedication to my favorite anime character: Gotenks from Dragon Ball Z. His attitude, over confidence, and just all of his antics are beyond hilarious. So, I took a picture of him in his Super Saiyan 3 form, and placed various backgrounds and filters in front and behind him to sort of create a powerful look to him.
My dedication to Dragon Ball GT. This picture shows both Super Baby and Super Saiyan 3 Goku. I wanted to relay the message that size in a fighter doesn't matter, but the abilities and the power within the fighter are what make them the most powerful. So even if someone is smaller than you, don't underestimate them, because you might find yourself in a sticky situation if they are not what they appear to be.
For the longest time, I've always loved the movie, "Short Circuit." Number 5, one of the main characters, is a robot created by Nova Robotics to be used as a war machine, but becomes 'alive' after being 'short circuited' when a lightning bolt strikes the power generator that No. 5 is re-charging on. I decided on this picture to give No. 5 a bit more of an evil tone, while using a fairly favorite quote of mine. I think this picture turned out pretty awesome.
No idea where this picture idea came from... I was thinking it was the coolest thing for quite some time now, and I used it briefly on MSN as a character, but didn't last too long. I personally like the quote I chose for him, as he very well looks the part.
