Dianne's Poetry
the human race isn't always kind, but human kindness can overflow if we just let it
Free

Freedom is something often taken
for granted.
This is a seed in my children I hope to have planted.
To remember all the men and women who fought that right for me.
In hopes that someday we will all be free.
Freedom is a gift from God above.
It should be cherished with unconditional love.
May we never have to settle for less.
May God and all his children be truly blessed.
Pajama Mom

I am pajama Mom defender of night.
I'll scare away monsters and keep you from fright.
I'll protect you as the stars twinkle above.
Then angels and I will hold on with love.
While you sleep and have a good dream.
All those monsters will float downstream.
And in the morning as you sit in your place.
I'll know you are worth it just to see your smiling face.

Different

We're all different but feel the same way.
That in spite of our difference to have a friend someday.
I may be deaf or blind I can't hear or see.
But we can still play please, be my ears or eyes for me.
I may be in a wheelchair even though I can't run.
We can still play, it'll be lots of fun.
God made us all different He sent us from above.
So, don't be afraid all I want is love.
