Thanks for the info. I will be reading through it soon.One thing I noticed: Samuel Smith that married Ollie Jones He died in Jun 1850 according to Williamson County Court Records. I have him on the 1850 census, too. He owned 230 acres on which he lived. He also owned adjoining 2000 acres of little value.

Oly Jones Smith had sister Nancy, brother James and Lewis of Barry Co.,Mo.

Samuel married Ollie Bassett Jones, daughter of Daniel Jones and Sarah Bassett, on 28 Nov 1809 in Davidson County, Tennessee. (Ollie Bassett Jones was born in 1797 in North Carolina and died on 10 Jul 1873 in Williamson County, Tennessee.)
