General Notes:
A bit more information regarding the will of Daniel Jones.
Executed will April 4th, 1817 in Davidson County, TN (Nashville) Book "D" pages 456-460 Parcel No. 1 612 acres in Williamson County Parcel No. 2 108 acres in Davidson County
Heirs and Claimants Wife Sarah Jones Lewis DeMoss guardian of James Jones *Abner DeMoss was one of five commissioners for Circuit Court *Part of land was near DeMoss Mill Lewis Jones Betsey Jones John Jones guardian of Nancy Jones Samuel and Olly (Jones) Smith
My guess would be the land was an original North Carolina or Rev War land grant that would have been given in Davidson County, formed in 1783 from the "Tennassee Territory or Mero District." Williamson County was not established until 1799. The land was along the Harpeth and South Harpeth Rivers. If you look on a map of this area, Kingston Springs is on Hwy 70 appx 8 miles or so west of the Harpeth River in Bellevue , southwest of Nashville.
This will probably generate more questions than it does answers, but hope it helps some.
Marriage Information:
Daniel married Sarah Bassett, daughter of Unknown and Unknown. (Sarah Bassett died before Oct 1837.)
