Darren Hanson
1973 - ?
Born on November 6th, 1973, and raised in Massachusetts, Darren Hanson has dreamed of being a professional artist since an early age. In the 5th grade, an interest in drawing comic books was discovered. In the seventh grade, the idea of a pursuing a career in art became a reality, and a primary goal. After winning a Gold Key in the Boston Globe Art Awards in 1992, an education in art was a guaranteed next step.

In 1997, Darren graduated from
Montserrat College of Art with a Bachelor's degree in Illustration. Since that time, his artwork has been printed in Newspapers, Children's Books, on T-Shirts, Music CD's, Trading Cards, Web Sites and more. Keeping true to his roots, he created a Comic Strip that was printed in a weekly newspaper, and has dabbled in the Comic Book independent press.

It was at this point which he founded the Ministry of Comics to showcase his many artistic endeavors, and as an imprint for his Small Press Comic Book creations.
