| Dr. Torben Ishoy | Dr. Ishoy has two major disciplines being public health, general practice and . He
is a medical advisor in International Health and Relief Operations to the Danish Armed Forces. He

| Major Carl Michael Walker | Major Walker holds a B.Sc. in Engineering from the University of Guelph and a Masters of Applied
Science in addition to his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Toronto. He has
served at the Naval Aerospace Medicine Institute, at Canadian Forces Base Bagotville and in
Lahr, Germany. He holds licences and certificates as a
He has acted as a Flight Surgeon at NASA in support of two shuttle launch missions and one
shuttle recovery mission. He has also completed a one month tour as a credentialed Flight
Surgeon aboard USS Theodore Roosevelt and has been an instructor on the USN Flight Surgeon

| Col E. M. Eitzon | Col. Eitzon graduated magna cum laude from Auburn University and with honors from the
University of Alabama School of Medicine. He was Chief of Pediatrics at the 121st Evacuation
Hospital in Seoul. He has since taught Pediatrics and Emergency Medicine at Brooks Army
Medical Center and Madigan Army Medical Center. He served in the Gulf as DCCS and Surgeon
with the 18th Airborne Corps. Dr. Eitzen is currently chief of the Division of Operational Medicine

| Major M. Cloutier | Major Cloutier holds a B.Sc. Pharmacy from the University of Montreal and an M.Sc. Pharmacy
from the University of Laval. He has served as the head pharmacist at Lahr, Baden-Sollingen,
Valcartier and National Defence Medical Center all with the Canadian Forces. He has been
involved in the areas of Medical Supply since 1983 and currently is responsible for the Canadian

| Major P Harrison | Major Harrison is a graduate of Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and has served as a Troop Commander with
3 Armoured Field Ambulance and as Adjutant of 1 Armoured Field Ambulance. He has attended
the Junior Division of the Staff College. He has serves as the Officer Commanding an Armoured
Medical Squadron in Bosnia and is currently the SO2 for Medical Operations at Headquarters

| Cdr. F.J. Blatherwick CM, MD, FRCP(C) | Commander Blatherwick is a Clinical Professor at the University of British Columbia, he completed his Internship at the
Foothills Hospital in Calgary and his Internship at Vancouver General Hospital. He has served as
the Director and Medical Health Officer of the Simon Fraser Health Unit and as the Medical Health
Officer for the City of Vancouver. He is currently the Medical Health Officer of the Vancouver

| LCdr. R. Patterson | LCdr. Patterson holds a B.Sc.. Nursing from the University of Ottawa along with a Critical Care Nursing Certificate
from George Brown College. She is a graduate of the Battlefield Nursing Course at Brooks AFB in
the united States and is currently the Officer Commanding the Treatment Company of 1 Canadian
Field Hospital. She has served on UN Missions in Somalia and the Persian Gulf and received the
Chief of Defence Staff logical Warfare medical defense. He has served as the Canadian Surgeon
General's advisor on medical aspects of NBC defense and as the Canadian Medical
Requirements officer on the US/UK MOU on R&D production and acquisition of Chemical and

| LCol F. Souter | LCol Souter received his MD from Queen's University Kingston and his M.H.Sc. from UBC, he has served as
an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Occupational Health Department at the University of
Calgary. He is currently the Canadian Assistant Defence Attache for Health Affairs in Washington
D.C. He was a member of International Task Force 30 and chair of International Task Force 23
both of which were concerned with Biological Warfare medical defense. He has served as the

| Dr. C. Snelling | Dr. Snelling is currently a part time Professor at UBC and a former full time Professor he holds Certification by
the American Board of Plastic Surgery and Special Competence in hand surgery from the same
Board clinical Sub Unit at VHHSC, in the past he has served as the Chief of Medical Staff at
Inuit General Hospital and as an instructor in the Division of Plastic Surgery at Harvard Medical
School. He has taught in Nigeria under the auspices of Canadian University Services Overseas
and is a member of both American and Canadian Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery
Associations and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He
holds Licentiate status in Canada, the Northwest Territories and the Commonwealth of
Massachusetts.

| Dr. N.J. Carr | Dr. Carr is a Clinical Assistant Professor at UBC and holds his BSc. and M.D. from that University. He is
currently the Director of the Plastic Surgery Clinical Sub Unit at VHHSC, in the past he has served
as the Chief of Medical Staff at Inuvil General Hospital and as an instructor in the Division of
Plastic Surgery at Harvard Medical School. He has taught in Nigeria under the auspices of

| Dr. R.K. Simons | Dr. Simons holds a B.A. from Cambridge (Corpus Christi) and B.Chir. M.A. and M.B. from the same
University. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery at UBC and has
held the same post at U.C.D.S. Medical Center in San Diego, he has also instructed at University
of Washington Medical Center in Seattle. Currently he is also the Director of Trauma Services at
VHHSC and has served in surgical appointments with the Red Cross in Thailand, the ICU of U of
Washington med. Center in Seattle and elsewhere in the United States. He is a member of British, Canadian and American Medical
