| (b. David L Yearwood 1974) Queens born black designer and entrepreneur began designing around 1995 using his creativity to produce unique and original patterns for clothing. During the summer of 1993 David had volunteered at the Suny Health Science Center at Brooklyn as a Grahics Illustrator for three months of his internship and that was what really triggered him to exercise his creative and artistic abilities at that time. In 1997, David found lots of different ways and methods to express his ideas and goals. For every item he made, he took photographs of them and cataloged them for potential buyers to preview his work. After doing some research he then found out how to protect his work from anyone who might want to steal his ideas. In 2000 David had a rough time trying to establish his company and launch his project into the apparel industry. So he focused on building his internet presence and releasing his name brand to the public to review and appreciate. In 2003 David decides to go public and follow his heart.
