Uman, Ukraine

 

Uman is a small town about 200 kilometers south of Kyiv. It is best known for Sofiyivka Park built from 1796 to 1802 by Stanislav Pototskiy for his wife, Sophia. The park has wonderful lakes, plants and flowers, fountains, and statues with a Greek theme.
