Buffalo Soldiers (Lives On)

This is based on the destruction of grave sites that the artist visited upon traveling across the country and in his home town.

Based upon the young tribal men growing up upon the teaching of the elders for hunting in future leadership.
Our Neighborhood.

Based upon hometown neighbors. Lint made out of dog hair
lint from dryer.

Reflection of the artists reminisces of growing up and dealing with life.
The art is based upon current black life, black historical events that weren’t often mentioned in history, by historians as he grew up. He has worked in Lint Art, since the early 90’s. Has been featured in local CBS, afternoon special with Bill Bryant and Barbara Bailey, local newspapers, Memphis, Tennessee Tri-State Tribune and connected with various art museums across the country upon his traveling. Most recent art display was at the Otis Singletary Building, Presidents Room, with additional new pieces, and the display was well received. The NY Towers done in Lint located at Miller's Fine Arts and Frames off High Street across from Ramsey's. Black Art by Darryl Davis (Calenders) will be on Sale in future. Hope to do future showings in many areas.
