| Many might ask where in the world are the Naritas these days? First, our time in Thailand at a Christian medical conference was very informative. Then the orientation month in Singapore was an excellent transition. But what thrilled us most was the wonderful, warm welcome by OMF International in Phnom Penh on March 31st! Weve since moved into our 680 sq ft home which weve enjoyed getting to know how to fill up our water tank when the tap is dry, how to position the fans in the 90? plus nights, how to communicate with our house helper, Bopha (who is fantastic!) and how to buy the things we need in a different language and culture - we need to barter for everything! Its been quite an exciting and stretching time for us!!! Ben and Jon are also in the midst of adjusting to the new environment. Ive Been Everywhere, Man is now one of Bens favorite songs. He still LOVES his trains; being such good parents, weve sought out trains in every country weve visited. When Ben got out of bed the second night at our new house, we told him to go back to bed. He said, but theres a big bug in my bed and he was right! Jons taken his first steps and sports five teeth. We love our boys!!! So whats next? Weve already started our Khmer language learning alphabet and numbers first. Language study will occupy most of our time the first year six hours a day! Its quite humbling to have grammer school readers as our textbooks. We hope Ben will be able to negotiate for us in the market soon! Were exploring options for daycare/school for Ben and transportation. And were settling in. Thank you for all your support and prayers in bringing us this far!
