| Taking the Next Step Our trip to the East Coast was spiritually refreshing. We were encouraged by family and friends, Lara meeting several of them for the first time. Ben had an absolutely wonderful time with his cousins. At the same time, the kids understood that they wouldnt see each other again for several years. Our nearing departure has been bittersweet. Weve been sharing the idea of surrendering control of our lives to the Lord. Jesus is asking us to come and step out of the boat from the known to the unknown. From a place of our control to a place of His. This has been one of the hardest areas for us letting go of our expectations and the ways we like to do things. For example, were not sure when our house will sell, where our stuff will go or when well be leaving. Our inability to plan is stressful because its not how we would choose to do things. But weve been learning - its preparation for us. Its that transfer from our hands to His. This process is now what is important for us. Benjamin loves his brother Jonathan-n-n - even more than his trains. We find two kids seem to be more than twice the work, but feel tremendously blessed! Valuing your prayers, David, Lara, Benjamin and Jonathan To continue to receive our prayer letters or if you are interested in our financial support needs, please send in a reply card or contact the OMF office. All future letters will be sent by OMF.
