Our trip to Cambodia in January strongly confirmed our sense of Gods call to serve there on a long term basis.  Since then, our lives have been quite an adventure, not only in our expectation of the big changes of moving, but also in the journey of getting there.

In April, we shared our hearts for Cambodia at the regional OMF International convention at Redwood City.  We received an encouraging response and had the opportunity to meet several people involved with OMF in the Bay Area.  For the past two weeks, weve been in Colorado learning about OMF and preparing to go, Lord willing, this fall.

Through this process, weve been more convinced than ever that our lives and plans are in His hands.  And thats exactly where we want them to be.  While our tendency is to try to take control of the situation and push things along according to our own agendas, we need to learn to have faith in His direction and will.  Only then can we have full confidence that this adventure will turn out to be the blessing He desires for us.
