What We're Doing
Medical outreach

We've been living in Siem Reap province in northwestern Cambodia since October 2005.  Our primary focus has been in church work - building up the lay Christian leadership in five rural villages through teaching and encouragement as well as organizing village level development projects such as road improvement, water filter use and animal husbandry.

Lara was involved with the community outreach division of Angkor Hospital for Children. Since having Kai, she has been involved more with projects she can do from the house.

David is still completing the final stages of publishing "Where There Is No Doctor" - a village health manual which he prepared last term with a team of translators.  He also works part-time at Angkor Hospital for Children.

We're also very active in the international Christian fellowship here in Siem Reap town.
