Darwin Ladies Kennel Club.

The Darwin Ladies Kennel Club established in 1975
and it is one of the oldest All Breeds Clubs
in the Northern Territory.

Darwin Ladies Kennel Club conducts two competitions annually:

The first is for members only and awards the TOP DOGS in each GROUP.
Points are awarded for Best and Runner Up in Group for All Breeds Championship shows
conducted in the Darwin & Katherine Areas for the period January to December each year.

The second competition awards the TOP CHILD HANDLER of the YEAR and points are awarded for first, second and third placing in all
Child Handler Competitions conducted in Darwin for the period January to December each year.

RULES OF THE CHILD HANDLER OF THE YEAR COMPETITION.

The Judges decision at each show is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Points are accumulated over the year regardless of whether a child progresses from Junior to Senior.

In the event of two or more child handlers finishing the year on equal points, a count back will be undertaken
The system for this count back will be:

Number of 1st places awarded       if still equal
Number of 2nd places awarded      if still equal
Number of 3rd places awarded       if still equal

The title shall be sharded and replicas given to each competitor.

This competition is fully independent of any other competition running concurrently.
Specific rules in such competitions have no bearing on points awarded in The Darwin Ladies Kennel Club's Top Child Handler of the Year.

The Darwin Ladies Kennel Club's Top Child Handler trophy was donated by :   Ms. Prue Burnett.

Trophies and rosettes for these competitions are presented at the conclusion of General Specials at our Australia Day Championship show held in January of each year on the nearest weekend to Australia Day.

MEMBERS: $15 - 1st entry. (Includes NACA Levy)
         $12.00 - 2nd entry.
             $10.00 - 3rd entry.
                             $ 5.00 - subsequent entries & class 18.


    NON - MEMBERS: $17 - 1st entry. (Includes NACA Levy)
      $13.00 - 2nd entry
                  $11.00 - subsequent entries
$ 5.00   - class 18

CATALOGUES: $2.00 to be paid with entry

MEMBERSHIP FEES ARE DUE 1st January each year.
DOUBLE MEMBERSHIP - $10.00. per year.
SINGLE MEMBERSHIP - $ 7.00. per year
