Pat Balloch and Karen Wright from the CHADWICK CHARITY HOME receive a cheque for 2500 from the Halifax Building Society

CHADWICK CHARITY HOME has recently received a cheque for 2500 from one of their volunteers Pauline Dunlop. Pauline who started volunteering with Bryson last March works full time for the Halifax Building Society who have a scheme where they donate money to a charity of the employee's choice provided the employee completes a set amount of volunteer hours. Pauline has recently been awarded 2500 from this scheme and she has graciously chosen the CHADWICK CHARITY HOME as the beneficiary of her choice.

Pat Balloch, Volunteer Officer said Volunteers, as we know are special people and Pauline is no exception. Pauline supports a lady who lives on her own in Newtownards. Although Pauline lives in Bangor she takes time every fortnight to visit or take the lady out for an occasional lunch. This makes an enormous difference to the client's life. We would like to thank Pauline for putting us forward and also HBOS Volunteering in Edinburgh for their generous donation.
