I have a particular interest in the ecology and natural history of endangered species. Specific topics include comunity assamblage, foraging ecology, habitat use and resurce selection also hunting, human-wildlife conflict and wildlife management. My research has been focus on my favorite species: Mountain Tapirs.

My research has added important findings for the understanding of Mountain Tapir foraging ecology and distribution. Adding new data to the activity pattern and challenging the past thinking of its geographycal distribution.
Background Central Andes of Colombia
PhD in Biodiversity Management (in progress) at the University of Kent, Canterbury (UK), studying Large mammals in the Central Andes of Colombia. BSc in Biology from "Los Andes" University at Bogota, Colombia, where my undergraduate dissertation was Habitat avaliability and density of Mountain Tapirs in the Central Andes of Colombia.
