| My Favorite Movies... |
| These are some of my altime favorite movies. Some made the list because they are just that awsome while others are childhood favorites that I refuse to re-evaluate. If you think I misses a crucial addition here, drop me a note. But I have been told that my movie knowledge is somewhat lacking, especially in the 'classics' so, as always, I reserve the right to ignore all suggestions and blow rasberries at the people suggesting these things. |
| The Labyrinth - A childhood classic, but I recently watched it again and didn't cringe too much. Truthfully, it is all about David Bowie. But I still love the Worm at the begining and several other jokes in here. The Dark Crystal - Another of Jim Henson's wonderful creations, this is definatly a darker, more serious film. Although not well known, it is worth grabbing if you ever get a chance. Hedwig and the Angry Inch - A wonderful musical that takes its self only marginally seriously. The music is great and there are all sorts of wonderful angsty moments to make you think about life and love and pain. A new occult classic for sure. The Mouse That Roared - Find it and watch it. This is a hilarious comedy that makes fun of the world political system and is just plain great. And the best part is that almost 75% of the characters are played by the same person. |
