| Personal Mission Statement |
| My personal mission includes my commitment to helping others.� In order to fulfill this commitment, I will remain up-to-date with all areas of law pertaining to the human resource field.� I will be aware of community assistance programs that may be available for my clients.� If I am not aware of local assistance programs, I will work hard to obtain the appropriate assistance needed. |
| I will respect those I work with and those that I am assisting.� I will not force my thoughts and decisions on others, but will help them make decisions that are in the best interests of themselves.� I will work objectively to assist my clients in investigating all alternatives that may be available to them.� I will also remember that the ultimate decision is theirs. |
| I will strive to continue my high expectations of myself and others, which will be a benefit to those in which I work with.� I will remain aware that each person has his or her own unique abilities, lifestyles, problems, and feelings.� I will not judge, blame, or punish individuals for their decisions.� I will accept others for who they are and will be tolerant of each individual so that they feel valued. |
| I will use my effective listening skills to work with individuals.� These listening skills will allow me to be empathetic and sympathetic when appropriate.� This will allow my communication skills to improve which will enable me to provide honest feedback so that I can gain trust with those I work with. |
