Cheri's Wedding Vow
God was with us the day we found each other.  He had a plan for both of us that we did not even know about.  To bring us together and to renew our faith in love and marriage.  From the first email you sent me warning me about internet safety, I knew that you were a good man.  You always seemed to be there for me, popping up when I seemed to need you the most, making me laugh and helping me to see the humor in my upside down life.  You have enabled me to find myself again, to be the person that has been hidden for so long.  I said I would never trust marriage again, and that there was no one I would trust to help me raise my girls.  Then I fell in love with you, and I knew what the girls and me had been missing and what we needed.  We are so lucky to have you in our lives, David, to brighten our days with joy, laughter, gentleness, and hope for the future.  To fill our hearts with your kindness, generosity, and never ending love.  You ARE our knight in shining armour.

I will be your wife and your best friend.  I will love you when we are together and when we are apart:  to stand beside you through life's good times and bad; through sickness and health.  I will show compassion when you are sad and joy when you are happy.  I will encourage and support all your endeavors.  I will give you honesty and sincerity.  I promise these things with all the love I have for you in my heart.
  David's Wedding Vow
Cheryl Ann, it took me awhile to get to know you,and when I did, I realized that you are a wonderful person.  You are the kind of woman that I thought I would never have the opportunity to meet and share love with in my lifetime.

You possess those qualities that make you a terrific woman, mother, and wife.  The love you have released from your heart has amazed me.  Your loyalty and dedication to your children has amazed me.  Your love for your parents has amazed me.

Cheryl Ann, you stand here today with two very special people in your life by your side.  Jenna, Brianna, just as I was amazed and drawn by your mother's qualities, so was I also amazed and drawn to you two by your stong love for her and for eachother, and by the strong family unit you three had formed.

I thank you for wanting me to become a part of your family.  Jenna, Brianna, with your permission, I would now like to say my vow to your mother.

Cheryl Ann, I promise to love, respect, protect, and cherish you.  To be with you in good times and bad, to laugh with you, and cry with you, and forsake all others for the remainder of my life.

The girl's vow to David
     (as recited by Brianna)
Anyone can be a father, but it takes love, patience, understanding and support to be a dad. Jenna and I have had an empty place in our hearts waiting to be filled. Today you are filling that place, and we are lucky to have a dad like you. We promise to love, respect, and honor you with all our hearts.
  David's Vow to the Girls
Jenna and Brianna, you are a part of your mother and your mother is a part of you. I love your mother and I also love you. Because I do love you, I would like to also make this vow to you. I promise to love, respect and protect you, and to help your mother provide for your needs both physical and spritual.
Our favorite scripture:    Romans 8:28
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose.
